    hello... I know marami ditong naiadvise na about sa speaking, but I still haven't improved according dun sa scored practice test ko...

    I think kaya naman na ung LRW na subtests, but my problem talaga is speaking. Jan sa scored test ko, I already used a template for Describe image and Retell lecture. Although ang nakita ko talaga na fault ko during recording ko is, I stuttered for some words, paused for some thinking of some thoughts, and I can't understand that much during repeat sentence, pero sa practice, kayang kaya ko ung repeat sentence. especially sa retell lecture and ung repeat sentence ko... Tips? huhu

    @psalms5110 Malaking impact ang stuttering and long pause sa score so kelangan mo talaga yan ma.overcome. You know what, both sa practice sets ko A and B nsa 46 something ang Speaking ko but I could not back out sa scheduled exam ko sa January 5 considering na I am from the province and nka.schedule na ang flight ko. So what I did was a week before, mga Dec. 23 yun, bumili ako ng headphone sa CD R king, yung tg.P100+ kasi I've been using iphone earphone lng sa scored tests. And I bought sound card kasi separate yung plug for mic and audio e isang butas lng ang laptop ko. May factor din yun.

    Tapos bumili ulit ako ng Gold Kit kasi nga naubos ko na yung 2 hahah.. But the sad thing is nauna pang lumabas ang result ng PTE exam kesa dun sa practice test A na gi.exam ko Dec. 28 -sarado daw cla for the holidays. It turned out nka.70+ ako sa Speaking sa practice test.

    Bottomline sa Speaking - talk and talk wag ka talaga mgpahalata na ng.iisip ka pa kasi mg.sound robotic ka nyan in addition sa long pause. Also it helped sa akin na hndi ko na lang inisip na nirerecord ang sinasabi ko ng.focus na lang ako sa task at hand shutting everything else pati mga ksama ko sa room, parang ako lng ang ngpka.OA dun sa room at that time, sigaw na kung sigaw with all the intonation na prang ngkukuwento ng tsismis sa kausap. ayun mahaba na pala sorry heheh

    @psalms5110 Also pala the night before the exam nsa BBC news lang ang tv ko sa hotel tapos kapag boring ang news ngbabasa ako ng book. Yung book na gusto ko talagang basahin, I read some boring parts aloud but most parts I read na silently -nababasa ko na yung book na gusto ko, na.enrich ko pa vocab ko in preparation sa Writing nman. Then pg nsa banyo ako nka.On ang podcast ng BBC..nkakulong ako the whole afternoon hngng gabi sa hotel pra relax mode lang.. hope that helps!

    @psalms5110 based on your enabling score, pronounciation un consistent na mababa. maybe you can use typetalker, check mo kung recognized un words mo. like ako un word DATA, pronounced ko yan before as (deyta) pero di sya mabasa ever ng talktyper so pinalitan ko ng (Da-ta). kung nakatemplate ka na, important na lahat ng academic words mo ay recognized ng computer. mukang ok naman un fluency mo based sa enabling skills. un grammar mejo bumaba sa mock

    Sa iba na nagtatake pa, wag mawawalang ng pag-asa. Sa una lang talaga yan at giginhawa rin!! Tiyaga tiyaga lang.. Nakakatuwa isipin, yung mga kabatch ko sa English exam dati.. Either visa grant na or nasa final step na for visa grant! :) God bless and keep the faith to our Lord! :)
