    Libre ang vaccine dito :) kung alam ko nga ito before kami umalis d n namin pina vaccine yung anak namin naka save siguro kami ng around 10K

    Ayos yan kapag libre. Dalhin daw ung certification from Pedia about history ng vaccine. Actually more than 10k na nagagastos ko sa vaccine. Parang around 20-30k na nga. may mga set ng vaccine na 6-7k ang price, and every month to 2 years minsan 2-3 kinds pa. mahal pa prof fee dun sa pedia nya sa makati med.

    How about for adults? sa Aus na din ba magpacheck if in case may gusto ipatingin lalo na kung specialty doctor ang kailangan? covered din ng medicare?
    Pag adults dyan na sa Pinas, mahal dito mga espesialista na doctor at kadalasan hindi sila bulk billing(medicare)

    Ang assumption ko kasi majority libre, if not totally libre ang medical services sa mga citizens/PR.. kaya mahigpit ang medical screening for immigrants especially for serious illnesses that will require significant medical services, and tax-payers money...
    Consultation with GP is free, for a Specialist there will be gap payment or you pay then Medicare will refund you some % of it ... by experience like immunisation, blood test , ECG, XRAY, ultrasound are free

    if you get hospitalised they shoulder 75% something

    Hi guys,

    Just a quick question. Is there really a need to have a dental exam and acquire a complete dental record before you leave for Australia? I keep seeing it in people's checklists but I haven't encountered it in any of the requirements from DIAC.

    Why is there a need to have this?

    Hope someone can enlighten me.

    @quesoboy more of...hindi cya kasama sa medicare sa take care of it back home. Plus, you need those records. So not just dental, get your medical records as well.

    20120403 - Received positive assessment
    20130622 - Took the IELTS exam (L:8, R:7, W:8.5, S:8.5, OBS:8)
    20131008 - Created and submitted EOI account
    20131216 - Started gathering documents for ACT SS
    20140113 - Submitted ACT SS nomination
    20140227 - assigned a case officer :)
    20140317 - Finally got my ACT sponsorship!
    20140319 - Invited to apply (visa 190)
    20140325 - Lodged visa 190
    20140718 - Direct visa grant. IED: July 17, 2015
    20150203 - Landed in ACT :) Job hunt begins
    201510 - Started working at Woolies
    20161031 - landed a job in my field as a junior
    20180508 - landed a job in my field

    @bookworm Thanks for replying. Requirement ba sya when looking for a job? Akala ko kasi enough na yung medical exam na ni-require sa visa application. Where would you need these? And is there an accredited clinic you need to get these from? If so, where?

    @bookworm hmm...okay. I'm trying to justify the need to get them since I still have a lot to do before leaving, and if you can do without it, then I'd rather not go through the trouble of getting them. Did you bother getting them?
