@psychoboy basta ang sabi dun sa assessment result, skilled employment not list dun sa form has been assessed and cannot be found to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level as Accountant. at ang naka indicate lang dun ung work experience ko sa Pinas. impliedly saying n ung work experience ko dito sa KSA ay hindi counted. diba?

@lock_code2004 hindi ko na tinanong sa ICAA. kaya EOI ko, ang nilagay ko n lang dun sa employment n related sa nominate occupation ko ay ung work experience ko Phil. ung sa KSA nilagay ko pa rin pero i declared n lang n hindi cya related.

kaya po tinatanong ko kung pwede pa assess sa ibang assessing body ung work experience ko dito sa KSA.

in my opinion, pwede mo sya ilagay as closely related work experience, and let the Case Officer decide... in the end, sila nmn talga ang magdedecide kung ilang points ang ibibigay nila syo..

although hindi sya na-assess as counted sa skill na "accountant", your job description can prove that na closely related sya sa accountant...

if i may rply. both kasi sa recognized assessing body ng iyong nominated occupation at DIAC ay kailangan ang IELTS mo. however generally speaking, most assessing bodies require at least 7 in all module (listening, reading, writing and speaking).

kaya depende sa profession mo, malalaman mo kung ano assessing body ang dapat mag assess ng skill mo. and from there check mo n lang ang requirement nilang band score sa IELTS.

for example sa aming mga accountant ang profession, ICAA ang nag assess ng skill ko, ang requirement ng ICAA ay at least 7 in all module tapos Academic cya. kaya ng tinutukoy na agency ni @psychoboy ay ung agency n mag aassess ng skills mo.

na assess na rin kasi ako ng ACS... System Analyst (261112 ANZSCO Code).. then calculation ng nila of my full time work experience eh 10 yrs and 3 months ... and yung diploma comparable to AQF diploma major in computing....

but of course.. wala naman nakalagay sa letter na kailangan ko all 7 modules.. but yan ang goal ko rin sa IELTS, more than 7 on all the modules....

may website ba na para malaman kung ano ang required IELTS score?

@the_BuGS : depende po kasi sa kelangan nyong points. na-compute nyo na po ba kung ilan na po ang points nyo so far? ang required po talaga for primary applicant sa skilled migrant visa ay 6 on all modules. pero yung 6.0 na score won't give you any points. so try to aim at least 7.0 para may extra 10 points pa kayo (kahit assuming umabot na ng 60 points nyo kahit wala pang IELTS) para mas mataas ang chance na makakuha ng invite.

Ayun pala, na assess ka na with a favourable response...

To be honest, there is no consolidated list of the required IELTS score per assessing body. What you need to do is determine who will be doing your skills assessment and look for their IELTS requirement if applicable.

In my wife's case, it is CPA Australia (CPAA). CPAA requires an Academic Module for IELTS as well as a score of at least 7 in all 4 subjects.

aight!... naging busy kasi ako sa pag gawa ng mala tele nobelang RPL kasi eh...and then yung job description and proof of evidence of all the projects involved, based na what I have written in RPL... hope yung hardship ng application and dreams natin eh matupad... hehehehhe

@the_BuGS : wow RPL pala kayo....at nakuha nyo na ang positive result. saludo po ako sa inyo! dati po kasi nung magaapply pa lang ako at akala ko hindi considered as ICT course ang ECE...akala ko talaga gagawa din ako ng RPL. halos maiyak ako dahil di ko alam paano gagawin. buti na lang di ko na pala kelangan mag-RPL.

@the_BuGS - tama lahat ang sinabi nila about IELTS, maraming dapat iconsider sa IELTS ...

1) Assessing Authority - (ex, ACS, EA...etc) - check with them kung anung requiremnts nila.
2) State Sponsorship - if want to apply for SS, check the STATE's min IELTS required
3) DIAC's points system for Language (IELTS) - 6 is 0, 7 is 10pts, and 8 is maximum 20 pts

so considering all these three.. malalaman mo kung anu ang kailangan mong score..

@the_BuGS Parang hindi ko naalalang may minimum IELTS score ang mga ACS occupations. Of course the higher you get the more points are credited to you, pero hindi siya kasing strikto ng tulad sa education / accounting / medical field

yup tama.... actually they dont require IELTS as part of their assessment...

Hindi pa ko tapos sa application ko pero naka-receive nako ng invite from skillselect last September 1, sariwang-sariwa pa. Hopefully makakatulong ako sa pag-share ng experience ko dito.

April 2012 - ACS assessment result received
June 2012 - IELTS
July 2012 - EOI submitted, 70 points

Yung friend ko 65 points di naka-receive ng invite so from that perspective, it seems ang lowest point na ma-invite for September is 70 points. Hintayin nyo na lang yung report by the end of the month. Ang alam ko lang eh 1K lang ang i-invite this September, 500 sa Sept 1, 500 sa 15th. 900/100 ang split, 900 allocated sa skilled independent.

Nag-lodge nako (paid AUD 3060) pero it seems may problem yung website so di ko ma-upload yung supporting documents ko. Nag-respond na sakin skillselect tech support and hopefully maayos na.

We're praying na smooth na from here and ma-approve yung application ko, otherwise sayang AUD 3060. Mag-share pako as I progress to give you insight sa new process.

@the_BuGS - I dunno if I get your question correctly but the higher your score the earlier will you be selected... And yeah, it would mean the higher your chance!

More updates. Mukhang malaki problema ng system pa nila, for several days, di ako makapag-attach, sinubukan ko na sa lahat ng browser, ganun pa rin result. Today, naka-upload ako, sa wakas! Ok na lahat dba? Nag-logout ako, tapos after a few hours nag-login ako para tingnan kung nakumpleto ko ba documents, kaboom! nawala lahat! Sinubukan ko mag-upload, balik na naman sa old problem, di maka-attach, never ending 'Loading' lang nakikita ko.

Sino ba na-invite na dito ng skillselect? nagka-problem ba kayo sa pag-attach?
