Student Visa (Step by step)

Hello. Been lurking in this forum for more than a month now. I'm so grateful that I found this forum. Thank you so much for being so generous with your tips.

Kaka tapos ko lang mag medical last April 11th and kakasubmit ko lang ng application ko last April 22nd. I'm taking a Certificate and Diploma Course in Child Care at MEGT Institute in Sydney (572). July ang intake ko. I have an educ agent... from AMS Global, nagpalit ako sa Carelink Asia at West Kamias, QC.

Right now, Im just waiting for the embassy's response. They asked me for additional documents regarding my parents' time deposit accounts. Gusto ni CO ng evidence na pwedeng mahugot yung funds ng time deposit ng parents ko before the maturity date. So pinadala ko ulit yung time deposit certificates namin na merong terms...nasubmit ko na sya dati pero baka nakaligtaan ng CO at ang pag photocopy ko kasi ay back-to-back...parang mukha lang footnotes kasi yung terms and conditions and madali syang mawala sa gabundok kong papeles na sinubmit na lahat naka certified true copy (medyo praning). This time I highlighted the term indicating that we can get the funds before the maturity date and nakasaad sa Affidavit of Support na willing ang parents ko na magbayad ng necessary fees and taxes in case I would need the funds and they have to terminate the accounts. Sana more than enough na yun kay CO. I sent the CO an email explaining my additional documents...but before that, nagpaconsult muna kami ng educ. agent ko sa lawyer na familiar sa aus immigration on how I would reply to the CO (di na nagpabayad ng consultation fee yung lawyer - thank you po, Lord).

Sana ma grant ang visa ko and sana this May na. Kakabilib yung mga nababasa kong timeline ng iba na 572 rin ang application... yung iba 1 month lang kasama pa medicals dun. Sana ako mabilis rin lang. Please pray for me.

Sorry ang dami kong sinabi kahit kaka register ko pa lang. Kabado kasi ako sa application ko knowing that I'm at the mercy of my CO and July na ang intake ko. Naghahanap lang ako ng support group and sana makacontribute din ako dito sa community.

04 / 23 / 2014 PIASI sent me a message that my application is already sent to the Embassy
04 / 29 / 2014 My CO sent me an email requesting for additional documents (evidence that the time deposit can be withdrawn prior to maturity date)
04 / 30 / 2014 Sent the additional documents
05 / 05 / 2014 Sent my reply to my CO explaining the additional documents I submitted.

And now I wait and pray for a visa grant...

Visa grant na po ako! Kakakuha ko lng ng document kanina from Air21. Gulat ako ang bilis at 572 kasi ang category ko. Siguro nakatulong magpabilis yung pagkuha ko ng medical before lodging my application. Thank you po for the prayers!

Onga pala po, tinatanggap po nila ang time deposit from accredited banks basta i emphasize nyo yung terms and conditions na pwede syang i withdraw before the maturity date.

@tin1289 ..hello tin....i wanted to help you pero i'm not that familiar with Queensland...suggest ko sa iyo try to check on google: re nursing schools in queensland....hope may iba tayo mga kasama dito na makashare sa iyo...good luck sis......

@tin1289 meron silang campuses sa iba't ibang state capital like sydney, brisbane, melbourne, adelaide

@tin1289 ..difference between bachelors and masters: pag masters ka ang partner mo (de facto or hubby) unlimited work rights siya...if bachelors ka ang partner mo ay limited to 40 hours per forthnight (two weeks).....ikaw naman sa dalawa ay limited ka ng 40 hrs per forthnight...and unlimited during school holidays.....

Is bank cert different from bank statement? Ano po require ng embassy for the 3 mos money deposit? Bank cert lang po ba or bank statement. Sorry memo confused:D

@pmm0202 ...bank certificate states that you have this amount in the bank and signed by the manager...just to declare that you are a current bank account holder in this branch...while bank statement is the actual list of your transactions including debit and credit..another way to show it is by producing a copy of your actual bank book detailing most especially the latest transaction and its updated account balance.

@danyan2001us ahhhh okay po ano po kaya mas require ng embassy? So if I'll provide bank cert po, I'll provide them 3 bank certs for 3mos consecutive?)

@pmm0202 ..experience wise..i would say submit both just to be sure....bigay mo kopya ng bank certificate mo (just one certificate for the whole 3 months) plus the bank statement which will now show your transactions and the most important of all, be sure to update your account....otherwise they will not accept your bank statement if it is not updated......

@danyan2001us ahhh ok po! What if wala po maayado transactions po yung account ? Kasi po kakaopen ko lang account so yung 2 bank accounts ko new passbook. Since sstay lang money dun for 3 straight mos. Sorry dami questions he he. Or Basra update lang yung passbook monthly?

@pmm0202 this...and ipa-certified true copy mo yung photocopy ng passbook mo...pwede mong irequest yan sa bank mo.

Hi sis. Punta ka sa http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/health-requirements/my-health-declarations.htm for the step-by-step process. You need to create an immi account first before you get your "my health declaration" Andun na ata yung link for creating an immi account.

@tin1289 ...hi tin so it doesn't matter to you if it's bachelors or masters kasi pareho lang din ang magiging work rights mo ...40 hours fortnight...anyway kung gabon then mag bachelors ka na lang if funding would be an issue.....just my two cents.....

@pmm0202 ..hehe ok lang yong mga tanong mo....oo basta update mo account mo every month...deposit ka ng maybe P200 or any amount just to see any movement in a month's time.....
