    @maneelin tama si KG2. You cant enrol sa BP kasi wala ka pang experience. Pero kung gusto mo yun, kuha ka na lang ng experience. I think 3 or 6 months pwede na. Kung BSN naman kukunin mo, since BSN grad ka na, macrecredit ibang units mo. So instead of 3 years, magigingn2 years na lang. Conversion program is i think 1 year? But the advantage of BSN course kasi, you can apply for the post study work visa kasi after you graduate. The disadvantage naman of BP, meron kang "no further stay" condition sa visa mo, meaning you can't extend a visa unless you will find an employer to sponsor you. But the advantage naman eh 3 months lang siya, cheaper din tuition compared sa BSN and conversion program.

    @maneelin - I think the quote above is the most accurate answer to your question mane...additionally, if you want na mabilis kang maka alis, go for the 2 year nursing course. may puntos din yan if you plan to apply for PR, plus if sa regional areas ka mag aaral, merong regional points added para maka PR. Im not sure if a 2 year study na bachelors sa AU will help you with state sponsoorship after your graduation. I think it will. Or i also think the state sponsorship will come in form of the regional points given. not sure. still have to read.

    after you pass the local board results, kuha kana nang IELTS. if you like you can review ASAP. Find a review center that offers unli review. That is to suit your schedule and in case you won't make it on the first take(which we dont like), you can always come back and review without additional fees. Pangit kasi ang 30 days tapos pag hindi ka naman maka full time review. Sayang lang ginastos mo


    about sa schools, it would be good if maka attend ka nang education expo nang IDP, merong mga brochures mga schools dun, merong pricing nang courses. you can also ask from IDP kung san ka pwede, meron silang parang matching process ata. Or, if you want you can go to the schools website and download the digital versions of the prospectus.     I enrolled sa Charles Darwin Uni...there are other scools like Deakin, Charles Sturt etc...

    its really good na nag research ka muna dito, before ako nag apply wala talaga akong kaalam2. it will give you an edgqe and be one step ahead sa processing mo.

    @dadedidodu - yung promo anng IELTS review centers siguro pang entice lang nila yun...para magbayad ka kaagad. alam naman ksai nila ang trend nang reviewers eh. siguro out of ten merong 2-3 lang na bumabalik. its like unli rice din, alam nila na an average person can only each so much rice. LOL :)

    @KG2 thank you so much for the info..wala din talaga akong alam 2ngkol dito and wala akong kakilala sa oz.nabasa ko lang sa newspaper yung ad ng isang immigration agency theb naging curious ako..i searched the net then voila! nakarating ako sa website na ito which is very helpful..atleast may plano na ako ngayon..concentrate na ko sa ielts hbang nghihintay sa NLE results.hihi..then punta ako manila para sa IDP after results ng IELTS..magkano ginastos mo so far pati tuition sa charles darwin?may 4k na unli sa review na inooffer.ok kaya yun?

    barely 4 hours left and hintay2 naman next week. haha. nag email ako nung monday. wednesday nag reply. medyo busy siguro sa pag finalize nang grants ngayon. LOL.

    @maneelin ngreview ako na gmit lng is ung samples sa net I was surprised na ung question sa essay ko nung ielts exam eh nkta ko sa net before sa canadian ielts exam so it was easy na dhl ngaral lng ako for 2days :) ok nmn 7.5 nmn ang nkuha ko khit puro BS ung pngsusulat ko.hehehe

    Subclass 573 (SVP) commencement date Aug 12
    May 21 - lodged visa application
    May 23 - DIAC acknowledged application
    May 31 - Medicals NHSI
    June 4 - NHSI submitted results
    June 10 - Medicals referred to MOC June 4
    June 25 - was informed we needed addtl tests for hubby
    June 28 - hubby's meds uploaded and referred to HOC AUSTRALIA
    June 23 - received email from DIAC stating "we have recently received your husbands medical clearance".
    Aug 1 - request form 815 health undertaking passed it on the same day :)
    Aug 5 - emailed diac that i have to be able to attend uni on the 12th otherwise i would need to defer my course.
    Aug 6 - they might have read my email and issued a grant at 2pm
    Aug 7 - received sms that they have dispatched documents thru courier

    Thank you god!!:) im done waiting :)

    @maneelin hmmm pede mo try on your own sa pag apply. in my own experience lang ha...first step mag IELTS, then tingin tingin ng school... what i did was nag search online for a school napadpad ako sa TAFE website, by the way there are other schools to chooose from ha, choose ka ng gustong mong place na mag study and course then alamin mo reqmts nila..mag register online sa school then magtutuloy tuloy na yan from paying tuition fees para makakuha ng COE... Then pde ka na magpass sa embassy for application of student visa VIA.ph...

    2 days have passed since i got the confirmation text msg from the embassy that they received my application/documents, however wala pa rin yong ina-antay kong email to undergo the medical exam. Possible ba na e-send nila yong email on a Saturday (bukas kaya?) or weekdays lang usually sila nag send sa email para medical?

    Nakaka-paranoid maghintay mga paps/sis. Huhu
    Darating din yan si visa grant in a few days para sa July intake natin. :)

    June 2, 2013 - CDU asking for the signed Provisional Offer Letter
    June 5, 2013 - IDP forwarded the Provisional Offer Letter. Received visa checklist from IDP. CDU acknowledged financial documents from my sponsor.
    June 19, 2013 - paid tuition fee to CDU, got Offer Letter and COE from CDU.
    June 20, 2013 - receive Full Offer
    June 24, 2013 - paid courier fee of 900 pesos as IDP's request through email
    June 25, 2013 - Visa lodged
    June 26, 2013 - got acknowledgement text message
    July 1, 2013 - email notice to undergo medical exam
    July 2, 2013 - medical at NHSI Cebu

    Hahaha enlargement na ads lol. Yup im checking the spam folder of my email acct every now and then as well bai KG2. Hahayz sana Monday dadating na email para makapag medical na ako. Woohoo nakaka stress din pala mag-antay.

    Nagpa book kana ng flight to Darwin bai KG2?
    Nope. di pa ako nagpapabook. next week pag wala pa mag dedefer na ako. 1 week before classes daw dapat mag defer ka na if wala pa. OK lang naman sa akin na madefer kasi kung July intake ako, 2.5 years ang course duration. Pero if Feb intake, 2 years ang course duration. Something to do with timing of subjects being offered. I still want to go though para maka alis na nang mas maaga. Hehe.

    Uu nga eh. Gusto ko na rin maka join sa July. Ang tagal pa ng Feb kasi, sayang ang panahon na lilipas. Lets continue to pray at sana aabot tayo.

    May 27, 2013 - Sent application to Charles Darwin University (CDU)
    May 28, 2013 - Got Provisional Offer Letter from CDU
    May 30, 2013 - IDP forwarded requirements to CDU
    June 2, 2013 - CDU asking for the signed Provisional Offer Letter
    June 5, 2013 - IDP forwarded the Provisional Offer Letter. Received visa checklist from IDP. CDU acknowledged financial documents from my sponsor.
    June 19, 2013 - paid tuition fee to CDU, got Offer Letter and COE from CDU.
    June 20, 2013 - receive Full Offer
    June 24, 2013 - paid courier fee of 900 pesos as IDP's request through email
    June 25, 2013 - Visa lodged
    June 26, 2013 - got acknowledgement text message
    July 1, 2013 - email notice to undergo medical exam
    July 2, 2013 - medical at NHSI Cebu
    July 10, 2013 - medical results uploaded

    @tagaCebu pero kasi weekend yung 15 and 16. kaya ayun,. Medyo natagalan nga eh. Went to IDP ng saturday, tapos tuesday na-lodge kasi holiday sa oz nung June 10. Tapos holiday naman satin ng June 12, tapos inabutan pa ako ng weekend, kaya ayan.. na-delay delay. haha! Hopefully next week, sabay sabay na tayo ma-grant :)

    @KG2 hndi ba tumataas ang tuition fees every year?:(

    Subclass 573 (SVP) commencement date Aug 12
    May 21 - lodged visa application
    May 23 - DIAC acknowledged application
    May 31 - Medicals NHSI
    June 4 - NHSI submitted results
    June 10 - Medicals referred to MOC June 4
    June 25 - was informed we needed addtl tests for hubby
    June 28 - hubby's meds uploaded and referred to HOC AUSTRALIA
    June 23 - received email from DIAC stating "we have recently received your husbands medical clearance".
    Aug 1 - request form 815 health undertaking passed it on the same day :)
    Aug 5 - emailed diac that i have to be able to attend uni on the 12th otherwise i would need to defer my course.
    Aug 6 - they might have read my email and issued a grant at 2pm
    Aug 7 - received sms that they have dispatched documents thru courier

    Thank you god!!:) im done waiting :)

    @Abraham yup. Student visa din. And yes they cater all courses sa IDP. :) so ang gastos mo lang sa IDP ay yung pamasahe mo lang pappunta dun. :-bd nakakatuwa talaga mag basa dito kaya ang tagal ko nang tumatambay sa forum na to. Nagrereview palang ako ng IELTS, tambay na ako dito. Haha! Nakakatuwa kasi pag may nababasa kang visa grant na ganon. Haha!

    Maalala ko lang, wala pa akong nabasa na visa grant this week ah. Bakit ganon.. Huhu
    Student Visa ka din pala. May kasama ka or single? May appointment na kami ni misis sa IDP makati sa monday. we are planning to take IELTS narin soon. Medyo mahirap kase parehas kaming full time employee.

    hi, uu lahat ng course pwd sa IDP..ECE din po aq..cla nag process ng school ko up to CoE. pero nag ibang agency nq for the visa processing (may mga issues lng kc na di nila (IDP) kaya issuport)..san ka po sa AU?
    Nice to know na may ECE din. Puro nurse kase nakikita ko dito eh. If ever na palarin, sa Melbourne sana. Ikaw? nasa AU ka na yata eh?

    @KG2 thank you so much for the info..wala din talaga akong alam 2ngkol dito and wala akong kakilala sa oz.nabasa ko lang sa newspaper yung ad ng isang immigration agency theb naging curious ako..i searched the net then voila! nakarating ako sa website na ito which is very helpful..atleast may plano na ako ngayon..concentrate na ko sa ielts hbang nghihintay sa NLE results.hihi..then punta ako manila para sa IDP after results ng IELTS..magkano ginastos mo so far pati tuition sa charles darwin?may 4k na unli sa review na inooffer.ok kaya yun?

    na bayad ko sa 1 sem 10000 AUD sa tuition, tapos mga 3000 AUD sa health insurance(family), 24000 PHP sa VISA, 10000 PHP sa medical(family), plus miscellaneous.
    search mo sa net ang review center na nag ooffer nang unli na gusto mong puntahan, baka may fb page at ok ang testimonials.


    Kulang kulang 600K pesos na pala ang nagagastos mo? for sure madadadagan pa yan diba? mabuti at may funds ka para dyan. Ganun talaga, kailangan mag take risk. Good Luck sa ting lahat. Para sa tagumpay sa AU. Cheers.......

    @maneelin hmmm pede mo try on your own sa pag apply. in my own experience lang ha...first step mag IELTS, then tingin tingin ng school... what i did was nag search online for a school napadpad ako sa TAFE website, by the way there are other schools to chooose from ha, choose ka ng gustong mong place na mag study and course then alamin mo reqmts nila..mag register online sa school then magtutuloy tuloy na yan from paying tuition fees para makakuha ng COE... Then pde ka na magpass sa embassy for application of student visa VIA.ph...

    @maliboo opo ma'am tumataas. hehe. pero yun ngalang, its 2 years for feb intake and 2.5 years course duration ko. Either way may trade-offs talaga. No lesser evil din between the two options. Time lang ang kalaban.

    @tagaCebu tama ka, another thing malapit nang July, usually July nagkakaroon nang changes sa immigration. :). Hopefully walang drastic change ngayon taon. :(

    @Abraham oo nga sir. mababawi din naman yan kung nandun na in a short time. hehe. sa duration ng post study work visa bawing2 na yan. hehe. ECE po wife ko gusto ko sanang siya ang magmasters pero kinakabahan siya. Masters ba yung kukunin niyo? Ako RME/RN. LOL. Pero gusto ko mag ME(Masters) din if maka PR na. investment lang for the future. :)
