Pwede po ba malaman kung gano katagal inaply mo tourist visa sa sister mo?
Balak ko din apply sister ko. Walang work at the moment. Iniisip ko kung pwede ma apply ng 6 monts? sabay sabay sana sila ng parents ko na pupunta ng australia ... since mag stay ng 6 months parents ko.. kung pwede din sana na 6 months din ma apply ko.

Peor kung malaki chance na ma deny, kahit 3 months na lang. Nka punta n asya ng austrlaia before and granted 3 months dat.

@shaynetot, I stated my travel purpose and explained my circumstance----it is suggested in the DIBP website that I submit evidence of approved leaves (supplementary documents) but I don't have that nor I can get that since I will be unemployed once I arrive in Australia (I am headed to NZ where I have a valid work visa).

@studentvisaboy Hi! Nung kami nag apply last May meron din kami invitation from my cousin na sya ang in charge sa accomodation but not our financials. Ang na submit namin ay yung invitation from him, copy ng proof of payment ng montly amortization ng loan nya sa bank for his house, and passport nya (photocopy) plus yung COE, payslip, Cert of leave (from your company) Cert. of bank deposit from your bank. Na grant yung visa namin after a month pero 2 weeks lang kami nag stay dun. Siguro nakatulong din kaya na grant yung sa amin kase nilagay namin yung exact dates lang talaga ng trip namin dun.

@atchino it took a month for my sister's visa. 3 months visa nya kase 3 weeks lang nman tlga sya dito dahil may work sya sa pinas and ihatid nya lang mother ko dito. Advise ko lang, kung walang work sister mo as of the now, need nya mag provide ng other proofs na babalik sya sa pinas. Yung sa sister ko kse COE yung proof na babalik sya sa pinas dahil may work sya. Medyo strict kse immigration ngayon sa pinoys for tourist visa dahil mataas ang rate ng pinoy na nagtotourist then hindi na bumabalik at naghahanap ng work.

@glaiza1210 thank you for the information! Medyo one week nang incomplete yung online application ko. Since I still have 50 more days to spare but I will complete my application this week.

@fgs right! I think I have everything I need but I am quite pessimistic na rin with my application after reading horror stories here online. Hong long will it it take for me to reapply for a tourist visa, if ever I got refused?

@Anci hi! So IMMI granted you 2 weeks visa only or they granted you three months but you only consumed 2 weeks? Thank you for this info.

@studentvisaboy yes good for 3 months but stayed only for two weeks. We filed it via VFS.. I keep on waiting sa email namin yung visa grant pero dumating sya sa house through 2Go yata yun. Kung sino nagpick up ng docs namin sya din ang nag deliver ng visa grant namin. Yung mga documents na submit namin photocopy wala kami pina certified pero lahat ng docs namin are genuine.

@Anci ahh cool. so minimum talaga yung 3 months no? I added a cover letter and itinerary na rin kahit may relatives dun, I added my relative's address na rin as accommodation tho I have money for travelling and hotel accomms. I'll just wait for the results na lang din tagal pala ngayon yung iba inaabot ng 45 days before receiving their application results

Anyway, my cover letter looked like a usual letter explaining my situation and purpose. I made a separate document that contained my daily schedule of activities (see Japan visa itinerary samples online). Honestly I am not sure how a date range would work since that would not show what you'll be visiting etc...

And don't be too anxious. This isn't like the US NIV application wherein you may not be able to explain your purpose further (aka denied agad pag may red flags). At least in here you can actually show your case through your documents.

I've uploaded a cover letter and itinerary already. huhu. I guess ill just add a detailed itinerary. Thank you for all the help! I'm so anxious because it's my first time applying for this visa. Anyway, thank you ulit sa samples.

@gerardds Upon departure from PH, sa immigration hahanapin yan and some questions to ask lalo na kung solo ka lang mag travel. I've encountered a lady dun sa kabilang lane ng immigration officer and tagal nya iniinterview like how much pocket money dala nya, may credit card ba sya anong mga lugar na pupuntahan nya (sa Dubai sya papunta as tourist visa) feeling ko nga na hold sya. Sa akin ang tinanong ay anong nature ng work ko at ng husband ko at ilang days kami mag stay sa AU. PInakita din namin ang invitation letter ng pinsan ko. Upon arrival naman sa AU, hindi nila hahanapin ang visa grant mo kundi scan lang nila ang passport mo at ang pinaka importante yung incoming passenger declaration card. Kung meron ka hindi na declare na dapat declare pwede kang warning muna or mag penalty.

@studentvisaboy book now pay later in Agoda means your booking is guaranteed but they will charge it to your card on a later date. For example you book today but they will charge it on the 20th, anyway the date will be clearly shown

@gerardds never naman hinanap yung grant notification but it does not hurt to be ready, just in case. Lalo na dito sa Pinas na immigration mas strict sila.

Hello everyone, it's been my 6th week this week and I am waiting for the approval of my tourist visa. Should I alert the immigration regarding my application? Tourist Visa for single entry only naman ang inapply ko. Huhuhu

@superluckyclover I suggest that you follow up with them. One of the persons in another forum that I am a part of one member suggested this:

Email them the details of your application and follow-up on the status. If your flight is in the next week, just indicate URGENT-Flight next week or something to that effect. Good luck!

@studentvisaboy Really? Jusko day! Hahaha. My flight na nabili is October 7 pa naman pero, di ako makapag book ng hotels. Pwede bang sabihin na lagpas na timeframe na nakasaad sa kanilang website? I understand kung lalagpas ako ng 6 weeks but wala naman kasi akong request for medicals e. ....

@superluckyclover have you tried booking with Agoda? Another person here told me there's an advance booking option with Agoda. You should check that out. Per scouring the depths of Au forum, 45 days yung pinakamatagal kong nakita before that person got his visa. But I do suggest na magfollow-up ka since more than 35 days na yan. Have you applied for 3 months plus of visa?

@studentvisaboy No 3 months single entry lang. My wife is about to lodge her student visa na with me (as dependant) late August or early Sept. So di ko alam kung makakaapekto ba to sa TV ko, or sa SV nya. Salamat salamat
