Di bale proof of age card nalang. Also mas mahal travel tax na babayaran sa airport kasi wala maipapakita ng proof of PR. Kasi pag punta ng SG 200/pax lang with PR card if wala 1,6++. So if you're family of 5 aba malakeng halaga din yun...

well thanks eniways bro..at least i know now.
Just wondering...sorry if OT itong question.

Like here in SG pag PR ka may blue IC ka, tas pag di PR meron S-pass, E-pass atbp. And then pag di PR (475 or 457 visa holder) kelangan ba kumuha lage OEC if mag travel to and from Aussie to Pinas?

    Thanks..
walang IC, usually driver's license or proof of age card ang ginagamit for identification. pag wala ka nito, you have to bring your passport.

This is interesting @jaero - as far as I am aware kasi, your OEC is only valid for travil to the country where you work as an OFW. In your (mine previously as well) case, it is Singapore. So if you leave Philippines and go a vacation to say Hong Kong, Bangkok, or even Australia, kailangan magbayad ng travel tax.

Darn, sayang di ako nag collect ng OEC... Sayang din ang travel tax!! :)

@Phil_Sing_Au - pwede po gamitin ang visa label mo as AU migrant in order to get exemption from paying the departure tax. Just show this to the person collecting the departure tax. If you don't have the visa label, show them the visa grant letter.

Take note that you need to activate your PR first before you can avail of this benefit... For those who will do their first entry to Australia, no choice here but to pay for travel tax. :)

Manila to SG then SG to Adelaide. Do you have any idea how much? Thank

Worth it ba yung decision namin umalis ng SG at pumunta dito? Tanungin nyo mga Indians at Africans na nasa Pilipinas and the same ang irereklamo nila. Hospitable pinoy? Yeah, pag-puti otherwise, I don't think so.

Kaya my OZ dreams came to a reality.

Maganda d2 sa OZ ksi everything is easy. At kahit my kmahalan lahat, mkakaipon pa rin. Salary here 15x higher compare sa Pinas. My dad will be turning 4 yrs here na dis coming August. Maganda lg kasi my tito akong mekaniko d2. kaya pag masira libre ung repair.

06-01-11: Arrived Australia (457 visa dependent on my dad)
28-05-12: Lodged RSMS 857 visa (seperate from my dad already)
    28-06-12: Done Medical check
    30-10-12: Submit AFP check
07-11-12: Went home on a bridging visa B for holiday and wedding..:)

+1. Galing! Nakaka-inspire. God bless you and your family always. :)

Mabait yung employer ng Dad mo. Talaga blessing para sa inyo kahit na nasa age limit na papa mo from 457 to PR visa. Ang pagkaalam ko at 45 years old ang limit but mabait ang God. God has perfect plan for us at the right time. Goodluck.
