@Miyawski hello. I just want to ask pano ung procedure ng pag renounce ng pr. Need b resign muna? Inform muna ang employer? And sa CPF ilang days or months before makuha? Tnx po
Just make sure na by the time mag-last day kayo eh PR pa rin kayo, coz that's what allows you to work in SG. You can renounce your PR the day after if you want.

Sa case namin, since gusto pa naming magbakasyon muna ng pinas for about 2 weeks, what we did was:

    - Resign from our work
    - Bakasyon pinas
    - Balik SG, stayed there for 4 nights. During which time, ni-renounce namin ang SPR namin.

IIRC we got the funds from CPF after about 2 weeks.

True. Yun nga lang, sa Canberra ka pa pupunta, and the processing as far as I know takes a bit longer.

Also note na pagdating mo sa Australia, marami-rami ring gastusin ang naghihintay sa yo, especially if you're a family with kids and gusto nyong mag-rent ng sariling bahay.

I used NAB. It's up to you kung gusto mong i-split ang pera mo into multiple banks. Just note that may daily max amount or limit ang transfer.

Impact sa inyo or sa anak nyo? Assuming na na-receive nya na ang enlistment by then, sa inyo, I don't think there's any impact. But sa anak nyo, yes.

I remember reading this article entitled Parliament: 'No NS-liable PR who renounced status allowed to work or study here'noon. Not sure kung may nagbago na ba after.

    @prcand

oo nga yung uncertainty every 2 years kung marerenew ang iyong work pass o uuwe kanang luhaan.

I haven't lost everything except my mind...

mga bossing, pwede na bang i advance asikasuhin mga to habang naghihintay mag pa assess sa ACS?

    1. NBI
    2. SG PCC
    3. Medical.

my 2 months kasi akong waiting time bago magpa assess ulit, eh medyo binibilisan ko na kasi baka magretrench nanaman dito sa SG end of Q2.

    1. NBI - Yes.

    2. SG PCC - The earliest you can do this is after you've lodged your Visa Application. SPF kasi will require a request letter from DIBP, which happens once you have a CO na. But I know of some friends who just printed the Visa Application Page and presented it to SPF. Tinanggap naman nila.

    3. Medical - If I remember correctly, merong form na magiging available lang after mo mag-lodge ng Visa application.

I guess you should seriously consider the same.

@xteen091 buti pa son mo PR, kids namin (one is boy) 5x na rejected, hehe. Sa kabilang banda ay ok na rin, since nagbabalak na rin kami mg migrate so di sya liable mag NS. Anyway, ito po sinasabi ng MINDEF....

"If you are between 13 and 16.5 years old (You need to apply for an exit permit if you intend to travel or remain overseas for 3 months or longer. If you are remaining overseas for 2 years or longer, your parents/guardians will also need to furnish a bond, in the form of a Banker's Guarantee of S$75,000 or 50% of the combined annual gross income of both parents for the preceding year, whichever is higher.

If you are above 16.5 and have not enlisted for NS:
You need to apply for an exit permit if you intend to travel or remain overseas for 3 months or longer. Your parents/guardians will need to furnish a bond, in the form of a Banker's Guarantee of S$75,000 or 50% of the combined annual gross income of both parents for the preceding year, whichever is higher."

No one knows the future, what if one day he really need to come to sg for any reason, sino ang sisihin nya kung na-ban sya?

@xteen091, no such thing as bond na 70k kasi lumaki sa SG anak nyo na SPR.
