@carrie - submit your EOI, then apply for the SS...
when applying for SS, you will need your EOI reference number..
once SS is approved, they will issue you an automatic visa invitation..

they wont reject your application, most people who applied for SS have 55pts, and that extra 5pts from SS will make it total 60pts (eligible to get an invite for the visa application)..

just make sure that the state you're applying to has your occupation in their list..
and satisfy other requirements if any (work exp, IELTS etc)...

Ask po ako about sa state sponsorship question ng Western Australia, Kasi score namin is 55 before State sponsorship. so confuse kung ano sasagot sa question na ito

@meehmooh - you should put 60pts.. sa summary ng EOI if you choose visa 190 SS, it will give you 55pts+5pts for SS = 60 pts..

yes.. you can immediately submit your SS, as soon as you have submitted your EOI..

@lock_code2004 .. Opo.. nakita ko na.. kasi may summary din pala ng points before mo submit ang EOI... waiting na po kami ng case officer... by the way po, dapat po ba attached lahat ng pages ng passport though hindi lahat may stamp?

@meehmooh -Salamat po Sir! Almost done uploading our documents. May concern lang ako sa detailed duties and responsibilities sa current job ko. Na submit ko na kasi dun sa Vetassess yung original, hindi ko naman na-scan tapos di na ako makahingi ulit sa boss ko dahil di nya alam na nag a apply ako ng migration. Kailangan pa din po kaya mag upload ulit or gumawa ulit ng Stat Declaration kahit na meron nang positive skills assessment at Points test advice?

@GoToWaOZ .. sorry sa late reply... In our case, nag scan talaga ako ng lahat ng docs... anyways, just submit what you have, the CO will just ask additonal docs if kailangan.

@meehmooh- Thanks po... inaupload ko na din po ang lahat ng docs that i have at nagsabi na din ako sa boss ko para ma issuehan nya ako ulit ng detailed duties and responsibilities....hopefully pirmahan nya na sa Monday otherwise mag stat declaration na ako by Wed.

naka indicate po kasi ang 2 ito sa document list ng evisa ko. i know i answered "no" dun sa Australian study at work exp in australia sa EOI ko kaya I am not claiming points for that pero nakalagay po itong 2 na ito sa documents list....

Kung wala po sa list nyo ito...i think my application is in big trouble...baka may mali akong sagot....naku po!

if i am not mistaken kasama po lahat ng possible documents na pwede mo i-upload... Di kasi sya personalized based sa mga point claims mo eh. If this is so, just ignore it.

You should have reviewed all details before you sent the EOI para maiwasan itong mga moments like these...

The last round of invitation was given out 10PM yesterday Ma'am... Sad to say, you will be invited after July 1 na. Meaning, you will have to pay the additional fee if may family member ka na kasama.

Ang ibig sabihin nito, hindi ganun kadami ang nag-apply with 60pts up which would merit competition as what was originally expected.

If same criteria lang ang points system, I would expect the trend to be the same.

So what do you expect will happen?

Lower it to 55pts? Although this would increase the number of qualified applicants, it would also lower the quality of migrants...

Or increase it to say 65pts? Inverse effect of the above; this would lower the number of qualified applicants whilst ensuring that the quality of migrant are deemed better if you measure quality in the number of points...

I assume they would not change the criteria; walang announcement kasi eh... And mind you, it is just less than 2wks before end of June.

Oo nga bossing, clueless kung ano man ang mangyayari, pero there are noticeable changes na like sa ACS, sa fees, and ano kaya susunod?

Tama din na di basta basta puede ibaba, kung itataas naman mas mahihirapan mag apply.
Imagine 32yrs below ka dapat, then dapat meron ka 8yrs experience, plus the educational requirements, english and etc, medyo parang ang hirap ma meet considering ang dami nila kailangan na work force.

Good example sa Canada, medyo mataas din requirements then limited lang yung openings compare sa Australia na madami, pero Im not familiar sa trend sa Canada kung ano....

Yup lapit na, sana nga they will keep and stay the same requirements/criteria para di gano malaking adjustments sa mga inabutan ng end of June 2013.
