salamat again sa quick response @rich88.. gusto ko sana kasi ievaluate kung sino sameng mag-asawa ang makakakuha ng higher points then siya ang magiging principal.. my wife is more likely to get the higher points, kaso ayaw nyang maging principal at ako, partner. kasi naprepressure siya na its mandatory na magwork ng principal, whereas partner hindi naman need..

anyway, its good to know na mabibigyan din ng same status na PR ang partner whether you get points from them or not. :)

@eujin Saan mo nabasa na yung main applicant dapat mag work tapos partner hindi need? Kahit sino naman pwede mag work kung may offer eh. Wala naman visa condition na dapat magka work agad yung main applicant.

salamat @rich88 medyo napaisip kasi kami if papalitan pa namin ung una namin nilagay sa immi initially defacto.. since di pa kami nag babayad may option pa to edit. kaka engaged ko lang nung thursday kaya di ko sure if mas ok na engaged na lang lagay namin di ba kasama sa drop down un. pero un lang maliban sa pic na may ring and likes sa FB from friends and families.. wala na kami maidadagdag so far.. di pa makakuha marriage license kasi may expiration ata wala pa kami plan ng wedding so far. more or less next year pa last quarter.. so baka sayang ung pagkuha license if maexpire. pero guessok lang po no kahit ung regular "defacto" lang na supporting ang ipass.

    Hi everyone,

I'm just new here sa forum and basically researching on how to pursue our plans to migrate in Australia. Just wanted to ask for your advice, if anyone has the same experience of applying de facto from UAE, kasi diba bawal ang live-in. Can we make a statement na lang na bawal maglive-in dito, would they consider that?

My partner and I have been in a relationship for more than 5 years now, we have travel stamps, bookings, pictures from the last five years, and can ask for statements from friends/relatives and also planning to open a joint bank account soon sa Pinas. Just not sure if these are enough para maconsider kami as de facto since medyo kabado kami dahil bawal maglive-in dito sa UAE.

Thank you so much and hope somebody responds! :)

@ash0818 Hello, I think this would be considered. I read before same case as yours (but I cant remember from whom). Also, I've read as well in some migration site that this will be acceptable. Make sure you have enough proof. Financial obligations are strong proof.

@ash0818 Hi po. we have the same case, I am also here in UAe and gathering docs for de facto. Ive read 1 comment in this topic saying na nagpagawa daw sya ng statement sa kasama nila sa bahay that happens to be the one renting the flat din. nag attach nlang daw cla ng copy of the the tenancy contract and yung statement nung my ari. Im thinking of doing the same. You've said there were successful applicants from UAE. What have they provided po? Thanks.

Hi, @aishee5 ! Great to know meron din ako na same case right now na nagpeprepare for de facto. Joint account is not allowed as well. So we're planning separate bank statements namin showing transfers namin sa isa't isa, sa landlord namin, and yung remittances nya sa Philippine bank account ko. This is for the financial aspect of the evidences.

Also, they explained sa stat dec nila (which is not really stat dec since hindi na sya ninotarize kasi bawal dito live in diba lagot tayo pag pinaabogado hehe) na hindi allowed live in dito. Thankfully successful naman sila. :)

How long na kayo magkasama? Kami kasi more than a year na though strong evidences ay almost a year pa lang. First steps pa lang kami will be taking PTE soon.

@ash0818 hi. more than 1 year na din kami magkasama kaso our landlord would not want to give any statement daw kase natatakot sya. Thats my biggest problem now, how will I satisfy the CO about 1 year living together if wlang proof na nakatira kami in house for more than a year. :( tapus na ako mag ielts and waiting nlng ng COE from the Uni.

@aishee5 naku yun lang. I think makakatulong din sana if may statement ng landlord eh. Samin kasi I've already asked for the dewa bills since magstart kami magrent sa kanila, then hingan ko din sya statement and house conctract pag na-invite na kami hopefully. Tell your landlord na lang na siguro na diretso naman sa AU immigration ang statement and I don't think naman na mag-aabala ang authority dito na hulihin tayo isa isa kasi sa dami naman naglilive-in dito. Hehe.

@aishee5 I think icoconsider pa rin naman nila kasi technically bawal maglive-in dito sa UAE. If you have siguro at least mga bank transfers sa isa't isa, since bawal din ang joint account dito satin, siguro kahit paano makadagdag sya. Or mga purchases or letters na addressed sainyo kahit magkahiwalay. Though eto wala kami masyado kasi di naman uso dito magpadeliver sa bahay usually office address or PO Box ginagamit.

Or statement din siguro ng housemate nyo or if may friends or relatives kayo na nandito rin at aware na magkasama kayo.

@ash0818 dalawa pwedeng gawin namin. either hindi na kami manghihingi nang statement sa Landord but then we can provide copies of things delivered for him and me na same ang address. or we can ask our friend who rents a flat na mag testify na duon kami nag rent sa kanya kahit hindi tlga kami dun nakatira. anu kaya mas mabuting option?

we can also provide satatment ng mga friends and relatives nmin dito sa dubai.

    Partner skills
Evidence that at the time you were invited to apply for this visa, your partner:
-was under 50 years of age; and
-had at least Competent English; and
-had a suitable skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority for their nominated occupation (which must be on the same skilled occupations list as your nominated occupation).

Hi! Can we use Form 888 for Stat Decs even if we are in the Philippines and just have them notarized by Notary Public? Will they still be accepted? I hope someone can help me. Thank you!

    Hello Everyone,

Concerning proof for de-facto – should the testimony from friends/family be notarized? Or signed testimony plus proof (eg. pictures together + any proof of identification like passport) will suffice? If anyone could share their experience, I highly appreciate it.

hello guys, question po for dependents (married)..

a year from now, you will wish you had started today

Good day everyone! Would like to ask po sana yung case ko,
for EOI na kasi ako, subclass 189 (Software Engineer - 65 pts) and I want to include my long time girlfriend(7years) in my application because it's impossible for her to get 8 in all IELTS-Academic module (requirement kapag teacher). I'm planning to propose to her this May 2017. Kapag ganun ba, ang bibilangin is yung years ng relationship or dapat 1 year kaming engaged bago pa ako mag submit ng EOI? Hindi kasi kmi live-in and wala kming shared bills na pwedeng mapakita.

    * Documents of our CAR na sa amin nakapangalan
    * A looot of pictures including our travel in Australia couple of years ago
    * Stat dec/affidavit from our family and friends here and from Australia

Enough na po kaya ang mga yan and how can we prove na engaged kami if ever? Thank you so much in advance sa kahit anong advice. God bless everyone! :)

Hello. Question po regarding de facto visa application. Here is the scenario:
    1. Both my boyfriend and I received a positive assessment from Engineers Australia. So when we lodged our EOI, we added each other as skilled partner to claim additional 5 points.
    2. Now, most likely mauuna mainvite yung boyfriend ko since ubos na yung slots sa skill ko. Iniisip namin kung ipupush ba namin na iclaim niya yung partner skill point kasi natatakot kami na baka di marecognize yung de facto relationship namin. Eto yung current situation namin:
    A. We don't live together. I stay with my relatives sa Manila kasi sa Ayala yung work ko. Tapos siya nasa Clark since andun work niya.
    - magoopen palang kami ng joint bank account this April
    - bank transfers pero not that much
    - travels both local and abroad na kami lang dalawa

Any opinion or suggestions would be greatly appreciated po. Thank you!
