Education: BS ECE, Technological Institute of the Phils.,2005
Profession: Outside Plant Engineer (Telecom) since 2007, been in Vietnam for project assignment (2 years), Sri Lanka as project consultant (2 months)

But I don't have a PRC license yet.

Have a relative in Perth (Auntie), AU citizen.

Kindly assess before I take IELTS.

it doesnt matter, if u dont have license yet. worse case scenario u will be assessed as Engg technologist by EA. so u can claim 25 for age, educ is 15, work is 15, (hopefully ma assess work mo as skilled), 10 points for English (min. of 7).

Hi Guys, question po regarding sa IELTS pointing system. When we say at least 7 in each of the four test components (speaking, reading, listening and writing), kailangan ba minimum of 7 nakuha ko sa lahat? Hindi ba kukunin yung average para maqualify ako?

Example: S: 7 R: 8 L: 7.5 W: 8.5 - mag fall pa din ba to sa Proficient (7 - 10 points) or pasok na sya sa Superior (8 - 20 points)?

Medyo na coconfuse kasi ako paano ako makakauha ng 10 or 20 points.

Another thing, for example 6 lang nakuha ko sa Listening, ok lang ba mag retake ng IELTS pero Listening lang kukunin ko since ok naman na yung iba? or kelangan kong iretake lahat?

@gladdenmac atleast 7 each.. So in your example.. That would be 10pts dahil may score ka na 7..

Pag all 8 lahat ang score mo thats 20pcs..

@gladdenmac - nope. and you need to retake all of the four tests. di pwedeng Listening lang kung san ka mababa for example.

hoping you can help with some questions:
did you still need to have your education qualification assessed separately by VETASSESS? or can i just claim the 15points directly in the EOI without formal assessment for qualification?

Degrees from UPD are considered equivalent to Au bachelor degree = 15 pts ( based on my experience and others as well)

Having said that, the decision is entirely up to you to take the risk.. Once a CO is assigned to you on your visa application, the may or may not request that educ assessment.. If you want to be sure i suggest to have it..

I need some inputs or advice with regards to my current situation. My ACS assessment was done last Jan 2014 and I am changing 2 different companies after my ACS result. In claiming EOI points do I need to include the 2 companies that I worked? All of these 2 work experienced are related to my skills assessment.

You can't include those two because they were not assessed by ACS...

since last year pa ung skills assessment mo, u need to submit a new application and link it to the previously submitted application. Automatic nasa system na ung mga documetns na nasubmit mo last time.

Hi, in EOI under work experience, since Nov2011 to present kasi kasi ako sa company ko which is also stated in my COE, but my COE was issued last August. Do I have to request for an updated copy of COE or just support my claim with payslips to prove that I'm still with the company?

current payslips pwede na to support na youre still with the company.

Another question, is it ok to lodge 2 EOI (189 and 190 separately)? If yes, is there possibility to be invited for both at the same time if EOIs are separate?

yes, pwede ka pa din mainvite regardless kung invited kana sa 190 since its a separate eoi. wala pong issue dun. your Invitation will expire if you dont lodge an application 60 days from the date of invitation. so kung nakareceive ka ng invitation for both, you can just lodge one applcation and withdraw the other.

better to wait for the skills assessment po
