two scenarios:

A) normally you should request "educational qualification assessment" or "point test advice" from your assessing authority.. part of the assessment result will be:
- your positive skills assessment
- your educational qualification assessment( whether equivalent to AU degree or AU diploma)
- your work experience assessment (how many points to claim for relevant work exp)

but for some agencies, wala ng educational qual assessment (separately), kasi kasama na sya as a minimum requirement for your skills assessment..
example, kung nagpapa-assess ka job code A, and ang minimum requirement ng agency is to have an equivalent AU bachelor degree... then lumabas na positive assessment ka... that means, your qualified for that job code, and therefore yung PH degree mo is also equivalent to AU degree (therefore you can claim 15pts)...


now, im not sure about your assessing agency... pakicheck sa website nila..

I also reviewed the result of my assessment, it was stated in the letter that the APC assessment process has three components; an initial assessment of qualifications, an English Test and the Knowledge Assessment of Pharmaceutical Science(KAPS) exam. Following the satisfactory completion of all these three components you will be considered comparable to an Australian pharmacy graduate and will be expected the following to be eligible for full registration to Pharmacy Board of Australia. Gusto ko kasi sana mag try mag lodge ng EOI since positive naman ang initial assessment of work and educational assessment ko and my IELTS ay pasok for 10points, but I'm thinking na baka di din naman ako maka receive ng invitation kasi baka I really need to pass the KAPS exam and IELTS of OBS7.5 with no lower than band 7 in each sub-test and it is also clear to me now that I can only claim 15points for qualifications after completing all of the three components of APC assessment.

Last I know, VIC SS take more than 3 months... Definitely worth the wait though!

you might be looking to an old WASMOL from any other website..
WA updates the list from time to time... may inaalis, dinadagdag...
so make sure to check the latest list from the WA immigration website..
yun ang dapat na reference document nyo..

Hi po. I just want to clarify points lang po sana.. please help me.. I had my skills and educations assessed by Vetassess. Hindi po ako nag apply ng point test advice with them kaya I believe 3 years of employment lang yung inassess nila, tama po ba? my education is equivalent to Australian bachelors degree and I have been working as a chemist for more than 5 years na. In this regard, can I claim 10 points po ba sa employment (At least five but less than eight years (of past 10 years) 10 points)? I have all my COE's and employment record of my work experience during the last 5 years with me po. Please help! Thanks in advance, guys!

so yes, yung last 3 years lang ang in-assess nila dahil wala kang PTA..
now, dahil ibang job/company yung ibang work experience mo, medyo mahirap i claim kung relevant work experience sya sa nominated occupation mo..

it's a big risk, kung i claim mo sya now, at ma-invite ka at magbayad ng visa fee, panu kung hindi pala relevant, then magkukulang ang points mo at masasayang ang visa fee...

but, if you believe na parehong level of work naman sa na-assess nilang work experience mo,
yes you can claim it.. it's your choice...

at the end, yung CO mo ang magsasabi kung relevant ba yun work exp mo or not..

Nagreply siya na updated na daw yung visa ko with my new passport number. Nung nagcheck ako sa VEVO, di pa rin updated. Hanggang ngayon chinecheck ko old passport pa rin ang nakalagay.

Then, nagrequest din ako ng bagong Visa Grant Notice kasi di ba kelangang ipresent yun sa PDOS sa CFO? Sabi ng case officer, di na daw sila nagiissue ng bagong Notice. Sufficient na daw yung dating notice, then dalhin na lang yung old at new passport. May nakaexperience na sa inyo ng ganito?

Eto yung reply niya ng case officer:

" I have already updated xxxxxxxx passport details in our systems but unfortunately passport number Xxxxxxxxxx is not being picked up in VEVO. I sought assistance from our Client Service Operations to sort this out.

Unfortunately, a grant notification will be not be reissued to reflect his renewed passport. The grant notification issued earlier is suffice to present to the Immigration upon entry to Australia. Please advise Xxxxxxx to bring with him relevant travel documents such as passport (old and new) and grant notification.


In the meantime, I am waiting for a response from our Client Service Operations regarding our query on updating his passport details in VEVO. I’ll keep you updated.

Just bring your old passport; it should not be a problem - you may give a screenshot to your CO and tell them di pa updated VEVO... My 2 cents!

Then sa No 2. from Apr 2012 until present employed pa din po ako same company, balak ko po sana mag claim ng 8 yrs para mka 15pts. Ksi po kulang ako sa 60pts. Sir ano po ba maganda un gap po ba from 7/2009 - 03/2012 pd ko isama though d ko xa isinama sa assessment sa Vetassess?

Company A - 20 Apr 2010 to 28 Oct 2010 (HR cum Admin Executive)- 6 mos (pero Cert of employment and income lng po eto wla kasi contract and payslip)

Company B - 1 Nov 2011 to 20 July 2011 (HR cum Admin Coordinator) - 9 mos - w/ payslip contract, confirmation letter and cert of employment)

Company C - 29 Oct 2011 to 31 Jan 2012 (HR Executive) - 3 mos -w/ payslip contract, confirmation letter and cert of employment)

Ble sir 18 mos din un total pd ko po ba xa isama para ma meet ko po un 8 yrs working experience pag nag EOI ako para mka claim ako ng 15 pts?

@holydenise - based sa job title na sinabi, pwede mo nmn isama kung confident ka na pareho ang job description mo versus anzsco code ng nominated occupation mo..

in the end, dahil hindi sya part ng assessment mo, only your case officer can provide actual confirmation, na relevant nga ang mga work exps mo (ung wala sa assessment) sa nominated occupation.. of course after nilang mag background check...

kung sinabi nyang oo.. that will be good... visa grant na ang kasunod nun..
kung sinabi ng CO na hindi relevant, sayang na ang binayad mong visa application fee..

kung sinama mo sana sya sa vetassess as part of your PTA for a fee (i think 100-200aud), malalaman mo agad, at sure na sure kana sa decision mo to include or not..

now, it is a risk, na ikaw lang ang pwdeng magdecide...

Then un present from 04/2012 - present ble sir 1 year and 8 mos total is 84 mos lang so kulang po ako ng 1 yr para sa 8 yrs?

Sir naconfused lang po ako sa below statement bat po isa lng un nkaindicate d po kasama un 08/2003-06/2009?

a) yung skill assessment is based sa minimum requirement ng vetassess, which is only 1 year of relevant experience.. kaya yung isang part ng result mo says that, your assessment is positive based on that one work experience..yung latest work exp..

b) now the second part is the work exp assessment, kung sinabi nila na relevant ang iba mo pang work exp, then that will be your basis to claim points for work exp..

there are two parts of the assessment a) skills assessment b) work assessment..

a) skill assessment- assessed sa minimum work exp requirement..

based dito sa statement na ito, you can claim points kung ilang years yan.. ( 10pts kasi more than 5yrs but less than 8 yrs)...

Magpapa PTA po ako sbi ng Vetassess SRG35 daw po nag call ako this morning mga 6 weeks daw po un processing and it cost $150. Kasi sa Jan 9 po sched ng EILTS so magpapanabay lang kung skali.

Sayang d ko pa sinama dti. Tama po kau jan sir....

why not try SS kung meron? para mapabilis din application mo..
sabay mo na PTA.. at SS.. kung alin mauna go for it..

Yes ako po Primary applicant, sa 190 = 60 points po, sa 489 = 65 points po. Uu nga dami nag aaply sa Occupation ko, hirap na mainvite

May update po kayo sa application nyo? quite interesting case nyo po kasi habolan ng points. for sure many will learn here...

Hi! @lock_code2004, i think i have the same case with @Umbenieyon, ndi na ko nagpa-PTA coz highly relevant naman un occupation. i have more than 5 years of experience (almost 6 na) pero ang assessment ko is more than 3 years lang na assessed....

Pero another thing is, 1 lang job ko... can i still claim points for more than 5 years kasi still employed pa naman ako?
