@ipolyyy worried din kasi ako dahil december 12 na nabigyan ng health clearance ang anak ko. Sana hindi naman yun makaapekto sa waiting time..
sabi kasi ng iba sa forum na to, date of lodgement pa din ang basis sa assessment regardless of co contact and compliance.

@jacjacjac yun nga din issue ko eh. I got my medicals done last October pa. Sana hindi humingi ng bago kasi waiting na naman yun haysss

@siantiangco when did you lodge btw?
Sa amin kasi nakapaglodge na din kami kahit pending ang medicals ng anak ko.. yun ang natagalan sa amin kasi tb investigation. But it turned out negative. So the clearance was granted Dec 12.

i lodged last sept 25. had my medicals probably around 1st week of oct and got co contacted last nov 10. It would suck if I got a 2nd contact due to my medicals and they ask for a new one. then another 3 mos of waiting na naman. ang negative ko lang lately. hahahays

i just hate the fact na you have to wait longer if you had a co contact compared to your initial lodgement. it just doesn't make sense for me na, opened na nila yun file mo, you did provide their required documents and they would ask you to wait another 3 months. Gets ko kung maybe a week or two eh babalikan nila un file mo, even maybe a month. but for you to wait another 3 months is just ridiculous

@siantiangco I totally agree with you at ibang CO nanaman ang titingin ng case mo.. parang dapat kung kanino na na assigned yung application natin sya na din mag verify ulit until grant kasi nakita na nya yung mga docs na submitted at yung needed additional docs so most likely no need to check again.. ang hirap kasi mag plan habang naghihintay pa ng grant e..

@Hunter_08 @siantiangco ganun pala yun, pabago bago ang CO na natingin. so whenever may additional docs requested back to zero na nman ang counting? well, wala pa ako sa stage na yan...

@batman @Hunter_08 and the scary thing is that, what if the other CO found a loophole in your application? Parang sa kitchen lang, what they usually do eh sasabunin muna nila lahat yung plato then tatanggap ulit ng ibang plates even though they haven't finished all the other plates. What's worse eh ipapadala pa nila sa ibang branch para hugasan yung mga lintik na plato na yan. hahahahaha #ragemode

Well guys, upon CO contact, they will give you 28 days to comply. So it means inuubos nila ang 28 days kahit pa the same day ka din ng email contact din nag comply. Yup it gets into our nerves na sana automatic na may notification sila na nagcomply na tayo as early as possible.. but that’s their way.. yun siguro sistema nila. All we have to do is patiently wait.

@siantiangco medicals are usually valid for a year.. so by not any chance na umabot ka sa isang taon, I think there’s no need to worry.

@jacjacjac oh okay, that's good to hear. although I've seen a case dito na 5months pa lang medicals nya eh after a co contact eh pinaulit sa kanya

@siantiangco yup I read that too. Siguro talagang case to case basis din.
Hindi natin alam kung ano tumatakbo sa isip nig mga CO.

@siantiangco dahil ata yung previous medical nya ginamit nya for 457 visa then nung nag apply sya for 189 same medical din ginamit nya dahil valid pa naman.

Hayy same dilemna here @siantiangco @jacjacjac @Hunter_08 i can’t get it kung bakit kailangan talaga umabot sa another 3-4 months waiting ang naCO contact! Where in fact, naopen na nila ang case.

A year ago, in less than a month binabalikan na nila ang naCOcontacts. Hays

@jacjacjac @siantiangco @Hunter_08 Ako ata tinutukoy nyo guys. haha. Yeah, quite frustrating kasi wala kanalang magawa. Had to drive for 4 hours and spend about 350$ for the same exact tests that was done 5 months ago! Tinry ko din iclarify yan sa DIBP hotline, wala din silang alam dun about CO's decision.

Yes it all depends on the discretion of the CO. Tama, wala talaga tayo magagaw but to give in. :P

Here's my timeline:

Aug 10 - Lodge Date
Sep 11 - CO Contact for Medical
Sep 29 - 2nd CO Contact for further Medical exams - TB investigation
Dec 16 - 3rd CO Contact for further Medical exams - TB investigation (pero at this point pending repeat x-ray pa ko)
Dec 19 - Sputum Culture results were negative but my repeat x-ray showed improvement - SLEC recommended for another repeat x-ray after 3 months
Jan 02 - Pero for some reason, DIBP gave me Health Clearance instead

Sa mga nabasa ko dito, I should expect a request for Health Undertaking pero so far wala pa din. May chance ba na hindi need ng Health Undertaking based on my case?

@rpaid i’m not sure, pero sa mga nabasa ko dito sa forum na to, kapag may history or may tb investigation dahil nagpositive in any of the tests, hiningian sila ng health undertaking.
I uploaded my daughter’s HU already, sana kung kailangan makita na din nila na nag upload na ko.
