@corvinus26 mas in demand ang BIM sa sydney or melbournehi, my boyfriend and i are planning to work and migrate in aus. mga 3 years na rin kami. upon consultation sa isang agency, pasado siya for 190 visa and ako ang dependent niya. pero yung agency kasi na yun, sila na magprovide ng job offer sakanya. pinagiisipan namin if kuhanin namin kasi medyo malaki yung bayad or tyagain nalang namin mag-apply. hmm.

    @shizuoka2020 magkano sinisingil ng agency?

19,990 aud. plus 2,000 aud if may dependent.

@shizuoka2020 Usually pag may job offer work visa ang inaapply. Yung visa 190 is a state sponsored visa and depende sa requirement ng state, hindi naman parating kailangan may job offer para ma-invite to apply for a 190 visa.

Kasi for 190 kailangan nyo muna mag-apply for state sponsorship at kailangan i-nominate kayo ng state na inapplyan ninyo for sponsorship bago kayo makapag-apply for a visa.

I suggest klaruhin ninyo ito with the agent.

to be honest po, i believe di mo maaasahan yung agent to find a job for your partner, they will just give you an advice on what to do, where to apply, pero they cannot guarantee a job talaga...

malaking halaga yung hinihingi nila, pero kasama sa binibili dun is yung peace of mind nyo na lahat e sila na ang mag-aalala, i would suggest putting effort in searching for ideas on how you can do this visa application on your own (DIY) :)

madami po tayong helpful forumgoers who can give their advice on what best to do when applying for PR :)

@shizuoka2020 family of 3 kami nung magmigrate. Nasa Php500k+ din nagastos namin, for visa190, kasama na fee for the agent. Never nangako ng work or job offer ang agent, kaya ingat sa ganong too good to be true na offer.

Hi guys! Anybody here had a hard time penetrating the Construction sector?

    Hi Sir @MikeYanbu !
Just wanted to ask, any specific construction jobs na in demand ngayon? We’re on our last few months of sorting out stuff para sa BM namin, not actively looking for a job yet as we still have 4+ months to go, pero both of us are in the construction industry here in Singapore. Gusto ko lang po malaman if we have a good chance of finding work in the same industry, say, 3 months upon arrival to Oz. & if you can share some tips na din.
    Thanks po in advance!

Chemical Engineer ako, and working in a petrochemical company, among the fields of engineering, sa civil lang yata mataas ang chance of getting a job, if may experience autocad and designing sa pagkakaalam ko marami rami, d ko lang alam lately if bumagsak because of the pandemic, pero for sure sisipa ulit yan once ma lift ang stage 4 kasi construction and building is still on going kahit stage 4 lockdown.

    hope this helps...
