    Hi @tamarind26, siguro case to case basis din, although I'm not sure kung anong criteria. I filed my SA SS application last March 10 and got approved March 30. Nominated occupation ko is Production/Plant Engr., yun nga lang mas mabilis talaga response ng WA, kaya I went for WA na. Cheers!

    Hi @brent. Recently lang po sila nagpost ng changes regarding SLA for SA State Sponsorship apps. This week ko lang din nakita sa site nila. Nung ni-start pa tong topic na to, nasa 4 weeks palang po yung SLA. Not sure when exactly nabago yung timeline. Might be because biglang dagsa ang SS applications kaya inadjust nila yung timeline.

    @shatterdude - one of the requirements for state sponsorship is that your skills should be on their shortage occupations list.. minsan may mga state na meron off-list nominations.. pero at this time mostly puno na ang off-list... kasi nagoopen sila every Jul1...

    nag try ako mag email sa WA and SA.. and both replied na puno na nga ang off-list slots..

    @lock_code2004 thanks, Sa queensland kasi ang kuya ko pero di pa sya PR kaya nagapply kami 175 pero kung maapproved sa 176 ok lang din, sabi kasi nila mas mabilis yata ang 176. thanks.

    @shatter - yup mas mabilis nga ang 176.. mostly within 4 weeks may case officer na allocated na agad.. ang 175 nmn average 6 months as of today..

    kung meron ka nmn 65pts.. then apply right away for 175 before skill select implementation in Jul1.

    but if your really want 176, check other states, but also consider time.. kung aabot pa ang application nyo sa State Sponsorship kung hinahabol nyo nga ang deadline before Jul1..

    @lock_code2004 - oo hinahabol talaga namin mkapagpasa before jul1, nakapagpasa na kami sa acs nsa 4th stage na. yun ielts naman kukuha misis ko sa june8 tapos nun lodge na kami agad ng 175. Pag bumagsak nga lang sa ielts dun kami aabutan ng EOI.. Actually ngayon kumpleto na kami ng docs na ipapasa so sana talaga makahabol kami. thanks sa reply.

    @chiffonscarf - di po guarantee na positive na yung visa grant pag sponsor ng state though mas mataas na po yung chance ng approval pag may State sponsor. it still depend sa ibang requirements po.

    @baronann - SA po yung nagsponsor sa amin. ang pinagawa sa amin ng agent namin is yung statement namin bakit SA napili namin, saka yung commitment namin sa SA. im not sure kung same dn ba yung "research paper" na sinasabi ng agent mo.

    @Emon i think its the same kasi yung paper daw should talk about why we chose SA.. yung sample kasi na binigay niya sa amin may mention pa nung culture, climate, industries and all.

    How long po yung ginawa ninyo, and okay lang po ba sa inyo na ipakita sa akin yung sample :D

    Hi guys, tanong po ako regarding NSW SS. Isa ksi sa requirements dun ang attain 65 points based on the DIAC Criteria. Ibig sabihin ba nito kailangan maka 65 points ka na agad before mag apply ng NSW SS?

    @bmc_cpu - di po applicable yung point system when applying for state sponsorship. applicable po yung point system pag maglolodge ka na ng visa sa DIAC. Meron po separate requirement ang mga state para ma sponsoran ka nila I think meron po sa website nila yung requirements. (e.g. IELTS result and dapat nasa SOL yung skills na pinaassess mo)

    @baronann - based sa form may minimum number of words dapat yung statement. sa statement namin prehas yung sa sample nyo. meron kami for education,climate etc....
    sorry po wala na yung kopya ng statement namin eh :(

    Buti pa sa WA walang ganyang paper na hingi, yun nga lang pay ka $200, unlike sa SA free application

    You don't need to attain the 65 points based on the DIAC criteria. Need lang nila na i assess kung aabot ka ba talaga sa passing mark ni DIAC. ok lang kung 60 points ka lang upon submission mo ng SS application kasi yung 5 points naman e dun mo makukuha pag na approved yung application mo sa state na inapplyan mo.
