@Sophia, everyone needs to submit EOI. And then you can choose specific states or all states to receive nomination from. Most states would need you to check and get sponsorship first before they send an invite. Regardless, you still need an EOI before anything can happen. Sino agent mo and how come they didn't know or tell you about the updates?

I suggest submitting ACT papers asap as they might close those skills soon, when they provide an updated list on August.

Thanks a lot @bookworm, this was a big help and maybe a slap to our agent :-). I already sent the link to them. Actually since last march pa ready na ung mga docs namin for ACT then sabi ng agent namin nagclose na daw ung ACT and need to wait for July, then exactly july 2 nag follow up kami sa kanila then sabi wait daw ng August na maglabas ng bagong list. btw agent namin dito sa Dubai (Glinks International)

@Sophia, ang scary lang kasi, pag nagbago na sa august, baka wala na yang job ng husband mo, kasi ngayon pa nga lang, limited na. Ok kung open na cya by august. But do you want to take the risk? Anyway, just my 2 cents.

@Sophia, kung nasa SOL nman ung job code ng husband mo hindi mo na kelangan mag apply sa ACT or any other states. Pwede ka pumili kung saan mo gustong tumira at mag work for visa subclass 189. Pero kung nasa CSOL only talagang u need to check the states kung saan nka open yung job code ng husband mo at lalu na kung both subclasses 189 at 190. Pareho yan kelangan ng EOI appkication requirement yun.

261212 web developer ba yung nominated job ng husband mo? sa ACT sya open @Sophia ni check ko sa NSW at SA hindi nka list. Hindi ko na check sa ibang states like Vic at WA. Tama nman si agent mo antay talaga kayo sa ACT SS pag na approved sa ACT i-request ng ACT sa DIBP meron kayong chance ma invite for visa na.

hello, sabi ng agent namin since na limited ung web developer sa ACT need daw mag send sa ACT for verification bago mag apply for SS. nag go na po kami mag take na lang kami ng chance baka kase sa august e mawala pa. sana po everything will went well. keep on praying :-)

I think as long as your job code was in the CSOL list for 2014 it will not remove on the list of the state which needed your job unless perhaps it was offer to other state and then was remove from ACT but I don't know such situation happened like that. I know some who make their application ready before it opens kaya nga mabilis ma filled Yung slots the time na mag open. In your case, your agent is moving in your advantage. Tama nman ginagawa nya so by the time na mag open Yung ACT apply na nila SS nyo agad Para Hindi maubusan ng slot. Good luck!

If your job code is in CSOL, but no state will sponsor you, hindi gagalaw ang EOI mo. Kahit nga sponsored nila job mo, pero di mo inapply directly yung state sponsorship, hindi din gagalaw EOI mo.
And with regards to jobs in state lists, mabilis magbago yun.
And no, dapat ngayon pa lang, i file na, which, I think is what they are already doing.

May tama ka @bookworm :-)...explain ko lang ung case ko.

Nung Feb 2014 ata bale nag close ung nominated job ko (act trainer asa limited category na siya by Aug 2013) so I rushed to submit ung mga job ads for verification. If I remember it correctly bale nag submit ako ng SS 2 days after they release ung new list. I ask kung ilang days or weeks ung iko-consider nila na i-accept for SS. The lady inform me na 1 week after ng release nung new listing. Nag-submit ako 2 days after ng release ng new list nila nung almost end of Feb. And now, by God's grace eh I already received an invitation sa DIBP with SS from ACT.

@Sophia - dont loose hope and keep on praying...I've waited for almost 6 years para magkameron ng progress...sa mga job ads naman, kahit mag-iba pala ung title niya basta ung description similar dun sa ANZCO lagay nio na (if worst come to worst). Try to explain briefly kung bakit ka karadapat-dapat sa job na un. Ung sa explanation ko inuna ko ung intro with edu background and experiences ko. Then after that ini-itemize ko na ung mga nakuha kong Job ads. God bless!

Tingin ko Lang Hindi naman ilalagay Sa CSOL ang isang job code kung walang nangagailangang state dba? Tama naman kumilos agad bago lumabas Yung list ng ACT. Now nsa Sa Inyo npo Yung anong pwede ninyong gawin. Narito Lang po tayo Para magbigay ng ideya. Good luck Sa application nyo.

ung verification sa case ko inabot lang ng 4 days (incldng ung day na sinubmit ko talaga - feb 15, 16, 17 and 18) technically mga 1-2 days nga lang kasi ung Feb 15-16 ay weekends...once na submitted na they would email you na verified na ung job or mag ask sila na magdagdag ka kung less than 5 ung na-verfied na ads.

I think chine-check nila talaga ung jobs kung sa ACT nga. I've submitted 7 job ads pero by God's grace eh nakapasok ung 5 they inform me na wala daw sa ACT ung 2 though ung ads is galing sa ACT pero ang location daw ng job is nasa NSW.

Kung kaya naman submit as ung max requirement which is 8 ata if I am not mistaken.

@Sophia, ACT will ask you for more recent ones. Be prepared and check the sites now. Is this the first time your agent is handling ACT SS?
Kahit hindi pa nya hingin, hanap hanap ka na so that you will have it when they ask. And believe me, they will ask for more recent ones.

based on my experience - nung nagka meron na ako na CO eh hiningan niya pa din ako ng 2-3 recent job ads maliban dun sa na-verify na 5 job ads before. Personally I think yes most likely baka hingan ka nila ng latest job ads.

ung worry mo is natanong ko na before, though wala naman nakalagay dun na time frame kaya nag inquire ako, ung first answer nila eh ang sabi sa akin eh 12 weeks then after a few months bago ako magsubmit eh nagtanong ulit ako ung sagot nila is recent job ads so ung sabi ng officer is at least 4 weeks. Ung ibang case na alam ko like kay book work ata mga 6-8 weeks. almost same ng napagtanungan ko sa PM before pero both of them received a nomination.

they would ask you to submit naman if ever na hindi umubra, just like bookworm said, hanap na ulit...i am sure meron pa yan.

i think they will ask for recent job adverts. kasi may kilala ako after 3 months na nakapending application nia, hiningan pa ng recent na job ads saka employment statement against each position.
