@jake28gica like I've said it's up to you if you want to have your qualifications assessed. Nsa ACS pa din naman yung say if ICT Minor or Major

ICT Major Criteria:
A Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate degree must have at least 50% ICT content.
A Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree with ICT content less than 50% is assessed as a
Non-ICT qualification.
A Bachelor degree must have:
• 33% ICT content for a 3 year course
• 25% ICT content for a 4 year course
• 20% ICT content for a 5 year course
The ICT content must progress through all years of the program with the final year being at an advanced
level.

What if they consider you with ICT Major:

Bachelor Degree or Higher with an ICT Major
 If your degree is assessed as having an ICT major which is closely related to your nominated
occupation, you will require 2 years relevant work experience completed within the past 10
years or 4 years relevant work experience completed anytime in your past work history
(whichever provides the earliest skill date) to meet the suitability criteria.
 If your degree is assessed as having an ICT major which is NOT closely related to your
nominated occupation, you will require 4 years relevant work experience completed anytime in
your past work history to meet the suitability criteria.

Guys, I'm currently gathering my COE's given yung requirement ni ACS na kailangan lagyan ng Job Description o Roles and Responsibilities yung COE medyo nahihirapan ako since by default di naman talaga naglalagay ang employer nun, now ako ang gumagawa ng Job Description papaprint ko nalng sa mga previous employer ko.

Question since Developer programmer ang nominated skillset ko, may issue ba tayo sa plagiarism nabasa ko kasi sa notes ng ACS na keen sila dun. So pano un kung kinopya ko lang din o ng kumpanya mismo ung JD ko sa kanila?

Any thoughts? yung mga nagpasa sa na ACS patulong naman, bale plan ko mag submit ng December.

@wingleaf sbgay hassle pa kng pupunta sa school..pro in the future bka kailanganin mo din yan so might as well get ur original TOR. Ibang school kasi 1 month pa bago ma claim TOR.

@louieg no problem naman bro kung kunin mo from JD ng company.

Ako rin gumawa ng mga JDs ko for the various COEs. Yung iba, kinuha ko sa resume ko. Yung iba naman, galing sa JD ng company. While yung iba pa, kinuha ko sa job posting nila sa tulad ng Jobstreet. Meron nga isang company yung job description mismo sa guidelines & policies document ng HR ang inattached nila sa COE.

hello po.. may question lang. nakasubmit na ako ng requirements then bigla lang kinabahan about sa mga pinanotarize ko. di naman po kailangan DFA authenticated diba? kasi yung nagnotarize ng documents ko sa city hall eh hindi yung lawyer mismo. baka lang po magkaproblema? sana maliwanagan nyo po ako tungkol dito. salamat po.

No need na DFA authenticated... Need lang panotarized at may Certified true copy na nakalagay

Hi guys, question.
If I nominated a code lets say (software engineer), and ACS did not find me suitable for the code. Will they nominate a new one for me (ie software tester)?
And if they do, would it be written in the letter that I am not suitable for my chosen code together with their recommendation?
Do I need to pay anything if I chose to accept their recommended anzsco code?

Anyone experienced this? help would be greatly appreciated.

@guenb Sir ask ko lang kung pano ung steps mo.

1. Get all documents (COE etc)
2. notarize them and put on a "Certified True Copy" stamp
3. Send to DIAC or Au Department of Immigration
4. Send to ACS

Ganito ba? please advise me kung pano ang pag aadjust,

@jake28gica do a self assessment. sorry hindi ko nabasa previous posts pero ano ba ang degree natapos mo? RPL needed yon for software engineers na hindi graduate ng related sa computer science... basta compare it with the guidelines kung pasok ba.

@jake28gica binasa ko previous post mo. minimum of two years talaga and need ni ACS para pumasok sa suitability criteria. There are some nga na graduate ng bachelors degree na di nasatisfy ang acs and naging comparable sa ict minor so mas malaki ang deduction nun, not to discourage you ha pero eto talaga yong nangyayari. Di mo rin naman malalaman if you will not try. sabi nga ng iba leap of faith... isipin mo nalang na investment eto

hi guys, may kaibigan ako na gusto din mag try if qualified siya to apply for visa 189. ang difference lang namin yung course na natapos niya. Computer Engineer ako at Business Management kasi sya pero ang work niya ngayon ay Software Engineer for 8 years. May malaking deduction kaya ito sa ACS assessment? mga ilan years kaya?

Guys, Need your inputs, bali nag freelance kasi ako na computer technician and nag manage ng mga computer shops, ok lang ba na lagay ko pa rin un sa resume and gawa ako ng duties and responsibilities ko na parang COE then papirmahin ko sa naging client ko sa shop? tingin nyo guys? Thanks

@J_Oz okay thanks, ibang process pala ang dadaanan nya. i think same din sa isa ko pang kakilala, Industrial Engineering ang natapos nya and then software engineer ang work nya.

OT lang, ok ba mag take ng IELTS sa IDP makati? british council kasi ako first e. at kinulang ako ng 0.5 sa speaking. so magretake ako.

Hi guys, meron po ba dito nagpa assess sa ACS this September 2015. Mga gano po kaya katagal usually ang processing? napansin ko po kasi sa pagbabackread na 5-7days lang nung july.

Hello

Meron ba dito naka experience ng assessment sa ACS. Halimbawa 5years exp na, tapos diba mag minus 2 ung ACS so 3years exp lang. Tapos ang sinubmit sa EOI eh 5years pa rin under "Employment". So ang points na nakuha sa employment is 10points. Tapos at the end ng EOI kunwari 65points binigay kasi sa breakdown below

Age 25 - 30pts
Bachelor - 15pts
IELTS - 10
Work - 10 (5years sa EOI, pero 3years assessment ng ACS)
Total 65pts

Pero after ma evaluate ng immigration eh 65pts pa rin ba binigay or 60pts nalang?

Anyone na may na experience na ganito lalo sa mga nag pa assess sa ACS?

@warquezho sa tingin ko babawasan ng officer yong points. Pero mahirap yang ganyan kasi pwede maging reason yan for rejection. Anyway, bakit pala icclaim yong 10 points e considering na 5 points lang talaga pwede mo maclaim?

Pano ba sasabihin sa skillselect na 3years lang yung valid work experience? Diba kasi sa skillselect login under:

Skills Assessment - Ilalagay mo yung assessment ng ACS.

Tapos under

Employment - Ilalagay mo lahat ng years of experience mo sa work dito diba? LAHAT meaning simula nung kelan ka nag work sa closely related sa pina assess mo sa ACS (including yung binawas nila na 2 years). Tama? Tapos sa dulo bago i submit yung EOI eh makikita yung lahat ng points na pwede mo ma claim base sa sagot mo diba?
