Guys, Need your inputs, bali nag freelance kasi ako na computer technician and nag manage ng mga computer shops, ok lang ba na lagay ko pa rin un sa resume and gawa ako ng duties and responsibilities ko na parang COE then papirmahin ko sa naging client ko sa shop? tingin nyo guys? Thanks

Pano ba sasabihin sa skillselect na 3years lang yung valid work experience? Diba kasi sa skillselect login under:

Skills Assessment - Ilalagay mo yung assessment ng ACS.

Tapos under

Employment - Ilalagay mo lahat ng years of experience mo sa work dito diba? LAHAT meaning simula nung kelan ka nag work sa closely related sa pina assess mo sa ACS (including yung binawas nila na 2 years). Tama? Tapos sa dulo bago i submit yung EOI eh makikita yung lahat ng points na pwede mo ma claim base sa sagot mo diba?

AH oo ilalagay mo lahat, tapos yong hindi covered ng ACS kelangan mo ilagay na not related ata yon something like that... para di siya makasama sa points...

for example sakin:

The following employment after June 2010 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled
level and relevant to 261312 (Developer Programmer) of the ANZSCO Code.

So yong mga 2008 ko till May 2010, not related ko ilalagay sa EOI, tas from June 2010 onwards. Yon lang yong pwede ko i-claim

For Points Tested visas:
By selecting ‘yes’ to this question the client will be awarded points as the client is claiming this skilled employment is related to their nominated occupation, or is closely related.

Skilled employment can also be in a closely related occupation. Any periods of employment in a closely related occupation must be undertaken at the relevant skill level of the nominated occupation. This means employment that the client claims to be ‘closely related’ to the nominated occupation must be:
in the same Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO) Unit Group, or
consistent with a plausible career advancement pathway.
Generally, all unit groups are at one skill level. For example, if an applicant’s nominated occupation is Analyst Programmer (261311) the applicant can include skilled employment in occupations within the same unit group even if the occupation is not on the same skilled occupation list, for the purpose of points.

Skilled employment may also include career advancement and would usually take the form of promotion to a senior role or higher level that relates to their field of expertise and incorporates greater responsibility. For example - Over a 10 year period an accountant or engineer may advance in their career to a chief accountant or chief engineer or a chief executive officer. This type of career advancement may occur outside of the 4 digit ANZSCO unit group but can be considered to be closely related where it follows a well-established path for career advancement.

Wala ata akong mabasa dito na dapat naka unrelated yung -2years ng ACS? Just want to get some inputs or may kakilala kayo na ganito ginawa, kung ok lang ba tapos yung immigration office na mag minus ng 2 years?

Diba nakalagay sa result mo kung kailan ang start ng SKILLED EMPLOYMENT. Nakalagay naman dun sa result kung related or not diba.

Ikaw go ahead if that is your understanding, kung bawasan ka man e 60 points ka parin. Im not sure kung ano mangyari kung bawasan ka at ibalik ka sa pool... pero Hindi ko rin talaga sure. Pero based sa mga naapprove na dito, ang Suitability period/criteria ay hindi sinasama as skilled employment and not included in claiming for points...

Onga nakita ko rin yan. Medyo malabo nga kung titignan yung rules ng ACS, pero ang final mag sasabi ng points eh yung rules ng immigration diba? Medyo vauge kasi yung skillselect, dapat naka indicate dun yung mga minus minus na hindi isasama. Mas safe naman talaga na sundin yung sabi ng acs.

Based sa experience mo, may nalaman, nabalitaan kana ba na ganyan ginawa tapos nag minus 2 lang yung immigration kaya kunwari from 65 naging 60 points? Or may nalaman kang nirereject ng immigration pag ganyan?

@warquezho Yes, safest thing to do is claim lang kung ano yong sabi ng ACS. 60 points will still allow you to submit EOI medyo magtake lang ng time ng konti, pero take note na October palang. nagsubmit kami Feb na, and nakakuha ng invite after 2 selections lang.

Maraming na reject because of overclaiming ng points especially kapag under ACS dahil dun sa suitability criteria

Need ko ba pala mag pa assess sa ACS para ma claim yung 5y(3y from acs) kung kunwari ang na assess lang nila sakin before ay 4years9months sa previous companies?

Tapos working ako now sa current company ko for 4months na (5years1month overall exp), at yung duties and responsibilities ko eh same lang halos sa na assess na sakin ng ACS na 4years9months at comparable AQF Bachelor Degree Major in Computing?

Or pwede na yung old asseesment ng ACS tapos lagay ko nalang sa EOI yung lahat including yung current employer ko na di pa na assess ng ACS? Parang mahirap kasi kumuha ng CoE with job description ngayon sa current work ko kasi nakaka 4months pa lang ako.

Hmm Kung hindi pa included sa existing ACS assessment mo ang current company mo, I believe need mo pa siya ipa-assess if included naman, just provide update COE upon lodgement.

btw, ilang years na deduct sayo? and ilang years maclaim mo minus yong deducted? wag mo na lang siguro isama yong current mo para makapasa ka na kung abot ka naman na ng 60 points...

Yun nga masaklap eh, -2years yung nabawas so 2y9m lang ako, di abot sa 3years para 5 points. Need ko at least 5points para 60points total kung makapasa na ako sa ielts.

So talagang need ko ulit pa assess nito, hayz 500AUD ulit

Oo nga ibang company kasi tsk. Diba need ng end date dun sa ACS, pano ngayon eh di pako nag end date sa current company ko? Ok lang ba na di ilagay end date sa ACS pag mag papa assess?

Bumaba nga AUD, noon eh 40 ata palitan, ngayon nasa 33, mukhang bagsak ekonomiya ah.

yes 40 dati, around 20k ata ung conversion nung nag ACS ako haha... Sana nga ok ang ekonomiya ngayon dun, mag big move na kami this Oct e

bakit po kaya ganun? naging stage 4 yung status nung monday tapos ngayon pagcheck ko stage 4 pa din sya. nagwoworry na tuloy ako. sa mga nakaexperience po ng 5days lang nakatanggap na ng result, ganito po ba talaga? bale pang 5th day na kasi ngayon.

Sir, kung nagwowork ka pa rin sa same employer mo, no need mag pa reassess. Kung naka 3+months ka na to make it a total of 3 years, need mo lang gumawa ng updated na COE, panotaryo mo ulit then yun isama mo sya sa application mo ng VISA.

EDIT: Late ko na nabasa na ibang company pala. In my opinion, dapat ganun din process basta same job description or closely related. Pero it is just me. You may need others' opinion.

Nakapagpaassess na ko. Suitable naman siya pero unfortunately, instead of 2 years, 4 years binawas sakin. Meron ba dito nakapagtry magappeal regarding the year requirement?

@kittykitkat18 i checked this morning no results pa din, nasa stage 4 pa din status. abangan ko na lang siguro next week. buti pa po sa inyo mabilis lang. nakaka stress lang talaga yung paghihintay.

so plan ko is gagawa nalng nga statdec at papirmahan ko sa manager ko.

I would suggest to talk to your hr and have your request approved/endorsed by your manager. Bka lng makalusot kasi gnyan ginawa ng hubby ko. He asked approval to include detailed job description dun sa coe from his manager then once approved forward nya sa hr tpos na-incorprate ng hr ung jd dun sa generic coe nka

@kittykitkat18 Hi, question lang po - kasi according sa ACS website kung associate degree equivalent daw po kailangan 5 years working experience. Ibig sabihin po ba nito, if 6 years yung total experience ko -5 years po yun so wala na akong macla-claim na points sa work experience?

@kittykitkat18 thanks po! ang sakit naman nun haha ang laki na wala initial computation akala ko -2 years lang pero depende pa pala sa degree equivalent.

Mukang ielts band 8 talaga kailangan para +10

wala akong kilala na nag appeal na same as your case. ala ka na ba pagkukunan ng work experience? kahit anytime in the past (outside of the 10 years)?
