    Hi. Is there another way to know if yung educational qualification is comparable to a bachelor's degree in AU? In my case, my school is in section 1 and I have PRC license. Im an Architect by profession and hindi ko alam kung kanino ko need isubmit ang assessment ko (AACA or VETAASSESS). I also dont know kung ano inonominate ko na occupation, Architect ba or Architectural draftsperson? Hope someone could help me in this.

    @ca_pogi - search mo specific thread about archi or archi draftsperson..
    based on their feedback, walang nakakapasa sa assessment ng archi grad from pinas..
    dahil iba yata ang building codes/standards ng turo sa pinas...
    so mostly nag-apply as archi draftsperson (under vetassess)...

    regarding your educ qualification, based on several information at mga history ng mga member sa forum, most likely pag graduate ng section 1 school, it will be equivalent to an AU degree (therefore you can claim 15pts for that)...

    fyi.. my housemates here in AU are also from sec1 school and licensed. they applied for archi draftsperson.. sympre nakapasa sila kasi nandito na rin sila eh.. ;)

    kung sa vetassess ka, walang bayad ang PTA sa educ assessment (bs degree)... kasali na un sa assessment nila..

    ang may bayad na PTA eh yung mga work experiences mo...

    check mo mabuti yun fee table ng vetassess..

    sa result magkaiba ang skills assessment at ang educ qualification assessment..
    skills assessment - based sa naging work experience/s mo at sa education
    educ qualification - based sa different factors, one of which is the school section, prc license,etc..

    so to answer your questions
    - sa tingin ko mas malaking factor ang work experience (quality ng COE/Jd) sa skills assessment, yung school section has nothing to do with it...
    - yan nga yata ang bagong rule ng ACS(not yet for other assessing body), binabawas nila ang certain minimum work exp.. please refer to the ACS thread...

    Magtatanong po sana ako if may nakakaalam or may kakilala whether AQF Bachelor's degree ang assessment ng ACS sa BS Comp. Sci. from PLM?

    So far sa research ko, ang degrees lang na assessed as AQF Bachelor's from PLM ay Eng'g courses only

    I'm doing my best to research this first kasi malaking bagay yung 20K for me if masasayang.

    Another question po:
    Specific this time.

    I graduated a Bachelors of Science in Civil engineering in 2002 from the University of San Carlos - Technological center. I saw that it is in section 1.

    Considering this to be the case, am i right to assume i will get a positive skills assessment for 189 visa because My graduated course is equivalent to a BS degree for Engineering qualification which is assessed as comparable to an Australian Bachelor Degree or higher degree?

    Oct 31, 2016 - Withdrew NSW application (kasi di naman open sa kanila) and emailed VIC of this change --> No reply
    Nov 24, 2016 - Emailed again about the change
    Nov 28, 2016 - Replied from VIC, that the change was made 10/31

    Hi Guys! Nasa section 1 ang school ko based sa list na nakalagay dito sa website. Kailangan ko pa ba magpaassess sa Engineers Australia to claim +15 points for assessment sa DIAC?

    12/04/2015 - Completed upload of all evidence of de facto relationship
    12/08/2015 - CO allocated, requesting my health certificate
    02/26/2016 - Bupa uploaded my health clearance on immi
    02/27/2016 - informed my CO and updated immi account "information uploaded"
    02/29/2016 - Visa 476 grant for me and my fiance' - Thank you LORD! :)

    Hi Guys! Nasa section 1 ang school ko based sa list na nakalagay dito sa website. Kailangan ko pa ba magpaassess sa Engineers Australia to claim +15 points for assessment sa DIAC?

    need mo pa rin sir, kung gusto mo makuha yun +15 points for Bachelor Degree level at Australian standards. Ewan nga kung para saan pa iyan Section Section na iyan, kasamahan ko sa work nasa Section 3 school nya at 4-yrs course lang, Degree Level pa rin assess sa kanya

    graduates from MIT and TIP with abet accreditation should be considered equivalent to australian bachelors degree.

    Nominated occupation: 233311 Electrical Engineer

    April 2013: ielts S8, W7, R7.5, L6.5 hays :(
    May 2013: started CDR and obtaining docs
    July 2014: Finally issued my CDR
    August 2014: EA asked for update of payment (Outdated application form :( )
    Sepetember 2014: received shortcoming letter (lacked docs)
    November 2014: Re-issued CDR having addressed shortcomings
    December 2014: Received positive outcome :) Prof. Engr (Elec Engr)
    February 2015 : ielts W6.5, R6.5, L6.5 S7.5 bakit ganito?
    May 2015: ielts W6, R8, L8.5, S7.5 susuko na ba ako?
    June 20, 2015: PTE-A L77, R84, W82, S80 God is good :)
    June 21, 2015: Submitted EOI - 65pts

    Hello! Graduate ako ng BS Accountancy sa isang Section 2 school sa pinas. Hindi pa ako nagtake ng CPA exam. Nasa australia na ako ngayon, pero di ko alam kung saan ako mag-uumpisa. Kailangan ko bang mag-aral uli? Or credited na yung degree ko? Penge naman ng advice hehe. Thanks in advance! :)

    Hello, ano po ang magiging effect sa assessment pag wala sa list of accredited school yung school mo? Yung friend ko kc PUP siya pero sa cavite ung branch ng school niya wala dito sa list yung branch niya. TIA sa mga mkakasagot. :)
