@hopefully The public transport system is fairly efficient. There is an app that you can download called TripView Lite, which helps you navigate your way within Sydney and across New South Wales. You will need an Opal card, which you can top up either at shops, train stations, or via auto-debit (bank account), against your credit card, etc. I don't drive and have never had any problems going places.

@QQ21 ., I am traveling to Doonside, is there a train station there? If I take a cab, will it cost me that much?

There are trains from International Airport to Doonside but you'll need to switch trains at Central. The whole trip will take about an hour. The cab is quite pricey, as Doonside is a bit far from the airport. You can organise Uber if you have plenty of luggage to carry. Otherwise, the train is a good option and is relatively cheap. You'll need an Opal card which can be purchased just before you go inside the International Airport train station. It costs $20 (minimum) and the fare will cost around $15 minimum (the airport area is a privately managed property, hence the fare is from/to it is high). DM me if you have any questions, glad to help :)

Hello po, mabilis lang ba kunin yong police clearance ng Dubai? Ilang months ang validity? Tapos madali lang ba mag pabook ng medical sa London Clinic? Thanks po. @tangentph, @qq21, @marky23

Mabilis lang. Valid for 3 months, so I'd recommend you only go for it after you have been asked to obtain it. London Clinic was pretty efficient, so they should still be, I guess :) I think there is another hospital where you can do your medicals, although I'd go for London Clinic any time as I didn't have any issues with them myself. Best of luck. Any questions you can DM me :)

Not sure if you're already here, as you wrote your comment on the 22nd and you said "23rd of this month" or maybe you meant July :) Are you heading for Sydney? Let me know so I can point you to websites (or friends, even) that can assist you with accommodation.

I don't drive, so don't take this advice as absolute truth, but my housemate tells me if you're PR, a PH driving licence can be used up to 3 months but you'd eventually need to obtain a local (Aussie) licence depending on the state where you live. If you're not PR, your PH licence can be treated as international licence. I'm quoting her word for word here lol. So perhaps a UAE licence will work the same way. I'm going to ask a few (driving) friends who have moved from Dubai to Sydney and will let you know when I get an answer, ok? :)
