May mga initial questions lang po. Ang first step is ACS, dba? ano po ba ang inaassess dito? Yun nominated qualification mo ba? Kasama rin ba dito yun pagassess sa school, etc. Meron rin ba silang tinatawag na Comparable Labour Market sa pagassess ng applicants para makaclaim ng points. Sa New Zealand kasi may Comparable Labour Market wherein your work experiences should be comparable to NZ standards. May list of countries na comparable lang. Kun hindi kasama yun country where you gained your experiences you won't claim points. Meron rin bang ganito sa pagaaply sa AU? Thank you po.

    @xnaldx , may thread dito sa forum (nakalimutan ko kung saan exactly) pero may guide na shinare tungkol sa kung gaano kadetalyado dapat yung job description na hihingin mo sa HR.

    In most cases, hindi naman magdadamot yung HR na gawing mas detalyado yung irerequest niyo sa kanilang docs hehe

    Hi. welcome to the forum..
    1. yes first step is for assessment (ACS for IT)
    2. both education and work experience will be assessed.
    3. They assess the educational qualification based on AQF - Australian Quality Framework... normally BS degree in phils is comparable to Au BS degree
    4. All work experiences from any country are qualified. As far as i know, wla nmn pong ganyang requirement ang AU immigration..

    In October, two invitation rounds will be held for skilled independent and skilled regional provisional visa subclasses covering a total of 2000 persons. These rounds will be on 1 October and 15 October 2012.

    The table below lists the maximum number of invitations that will be issued in each round, by visa subclass.

    Hi, clarify ko lng po sa ielts na required for skillselect, need po ba at least 8 ka on each of the four components get 20 points or you can get 20 pts basta obs is 8?
    Sadly dapat walang grade below 8 in order to get 20pts... Meaning kahit 9 yung OBS mo as a result of say 9.5 9.5 9.5 7.5; your points from IELTS will still be just 10 because you got that 7.5

    Try hard lang talaga and tell your friend to really practice - there is a separate thread here for IELTS tips and reviewers, maybe you can share that! :)

    question po: ano ba talaga minimum points for 189 visa? 65 or 60? kasi sa IMMI website eh. 60 lang. may mga nababasa naman ako like on this site na 65 (new points system test). thanks po sa sasagot. :D

    @engr_boy : alam ko po 60 lang talaga. pero since pataasan ng points sa skillselect, kelangan more than 60 points ka para mas malaki chance na ma-invite ka. not sure kung meron nang na-invite so far na 60 points lang ang meron. karamihan 65 points ata and above.

    ganito po yan.. ang minimum na points para ang DIAC ay magbigay ng invitation ay 60 points. tungkol naman sa nabasa mo na 65 points, pataasan ng points kasi ang pagbibigay ng invitation and as of the latest invite (01 October) minimum points na nakareceive ng invitation ay 65 points.

    sa ngayon wala pang nakakareceive ng invitation para sa mga nagsubmit ng EOI na 60 points lamang pero sa tingin ko pag naubos na ang mga nakalinya na ang points ay 65 points pataas, magsisimula na din sila magpadala ng mga invitation sa mga ito. sana nasagot ko po ang iyong katanungan. :)
    question po: ano ba talaga minimum points for 189 visa? 65 or 60? kasi sa IMMI website eh. 60 lang. may mga nababasa naman ako like on this site na 65 (new points system test). thanks po sa sasagot. :D
