Hello guys, not to be pessimistic on this one, but yes, @rich88 point is very valid. They consider your school, then your subjects related to IT and employment. So far, wala pa po akong kilala na ECE then 2yrs yung deduction lang po, mostly for BS CS/IT yung mga kilala ko.

But.... let's hope for the best, hopefully you will get your desired assessment.

@guenb @Heprex d ko rin sure brad.. yung sa sinabi ko kanina based lang sa inputs ng ibang forumers lang din. In the end, depende rin sa ACS talaga yung final assessment.

@rich88 I got bachelor degree assessment but 4 yrs deduction kasi ECE grad ako w/ PRC license. Code is 263111. Nag-reply sa akin CO regarding my inquiry bakit naging 4yrs, not closely related daw yung course ko sa nominated code kaya 4yrs. Hindi tuloy ako aabot sa 8yrs, 15pts. Okay na rin kasi 15pts na bachelor degree.

@guenb thank you po, worried lang po kasi advanced diploma year 2005 then nag work na after. Tapos nag bachelor degree 2015 (pero distant learning ito). Kaya di ko lang alam kung ano iassess nila. Ung 9+ year experience lahat related sa testing sunod sunod yun.

Positive assessment kaya ito? Kahit 0 years basta positive.

Kailangan kasi CSOL software tester or test engineer kasi partner is positive csol na.

@toby101 aww so 2005 onwards yung work...yung bachelor nman by 2015 ntapos, hmmm... baka yung gawin nila e equivalent ka na lng sa Diploma para pumasok ka dito:

Diploma and Vendor Certification
 If your Diploma or Vendor Certification is assessed as having an ICT major which is closely related to your nominated occupation, you will require 5 years relevant work experience completed within the past 10 years or 6 years relevant work experience completed anytime in your past work history (whichever provides the earliest skill date) to meet the suitability criteria.

Medyo tricky kasi yung bachelor mu ntapos after ng work experience. My clause kasi dito:

The Skill Level Requirement Met Date is dependent on the completion of both the relevant qualification and relevant work experience.
If your work experience is completed before the completion date of your qualification, the Skill Level Requirement Met Date will be determined by the earliest date that both the relevant work experience and the qualification are completed.

Hello, question ulit. sa pag consolidate ba ng pdf. pag sama-samahin ko ba yung Diploma, PRC certificate, PRC ID, PRC score sa isang pdf? Or separate file each?

@guenb im thinking if papaassess ko ung diploma + advance diploma lang with 9+ years experience. Baka certificate lang ung bigay nila aqf equivalent kasi province ung Informatics Philippines. Assuming deduct nila 7 years oks lang kasi 9+ years naman.

If bachelor degree as of last year, baka walang maccredit na years, baka 0 years dahil sa MET date.

Pero tingin mo positive bibigay?

Hello guys I have been lurking here for quite a while and I am overwhelmed by the support that each other is giving!

I have submitted my docs for assessment to ACS after weeks of collecting! it is now on stage 4. Applied for Systems Analyst, 12 yrs of work experience, graduate of Computer Engineering at Mapua Intramuros. Based sa mga nabasa ko, 4 years ang deduction pag engineering right? Im gunning for 8 yrs work experience sana e.

@tonzap26 check mu sa guidelines. Ng iiba kasi yung deduction pag cover yung last 10years or yung total eh. Like 2years deduction from the last 10years mgging 4years deduction if counted yung total. Parang ganun.
