Ano yung eksaktong nakasulat sayo? Gusto ko lang din maintindihan yung case mo. Parang unfair naman na last 10 years lang ang ma-aassess ng ACS? Papano naman kung more than 10 years ka na nagwowork diba?

Yes @rich88, nandun lahat ng work experience ko nung nagpa-assess ako sa ACS, Sa case ko kasi I'm working since Aug 2003. Bale tinanong ko yung assessor ko, ang computation na binigay nya saken eh ganito:

July 2016 - 10 years = Aug 2006 - 2 years deduction = August 2008 (so 8 years na lang natira saken)

eh between Aug 2008 and 2016 ay meron ako unemployed year. so ayun 6+ lang pwede ko ma-claim (Kita din sa assessment yung gap).

Medyo unfair nga, pero clear naman un sa ACS website (pdf) na 10 years lang ung i-aassess nila.

At yun nga, sana pwede ko i-claim yung work experience ko bago magexpire yung ACS assessment ko... para wala na deductions? kasi as long na-i-assess ni ACS yung work experience ko eh di talaga aabot sa 8 years eh...

Sample:
For Bachelor's Degree, ICT Major - Closely related to the nominated occupation
Required Relevant Work Experience = 2 years relevant work experience completed in the
last 10 years or 4 years relevant work experience completed anytime in past work history

So for more than 10yrs, they will consider 4yrs of relevant work experience instead of 2yrs. only.

The 10 years requirement period for work experience is based on the past 10 years from the submission date of your online skills application

@SAP_Melaka ayun.. thanks! At least yung ibang more than 10 years experience will still have a chance to claim for 15 points (8 years above).

@SAP_Melaka thank you! eto yung sagot na hinahanap ko! Bakit kaya di binigay saken yung 4 years deduction lang. Matanong nga ulet yung assessor ko kahit ilang months na nakalipas.

Another question - what is your course in Uni and your Uni's section? These are determining factor as well on how many years ACS will deduct on your total work experience.

@killua27 I see, could you also indicate the actual dates per job? I know in ACS assessment, it is on per month basis only. But if you lodge EOI, you need the actual dates of employment. We could compute based on this.

@SAP_Melaka BS in Computer Science ako sir Graduate ako ng STI College Edsa Crossing. Nakita ko nasa section 3 ata ako or section 2, hindi ko na sure haha.. thank SAP_Melaka sa pagsagot

Hello! Nag RPL kasi ako for ACS. Wala pa ako results, pero ineexpect ko na hndi nila ma aassess education ko kasi non-IT. Kailangan ko pa ba mag Vetassess for Qualifications kahit Section 1 yung school ko? Thanks in advance!

@Sid Lim bro section 3 ang STI - Crossing. Usually pag section 3, minimum 5 years ang binabawas ng ACS. Anong nominated occupation mo? Since 2001 working ka naman.. I guess makakakuha ka pa rin ng 15 points for work if positive assessment lahat ng work exp mo.

@silverblacksoldier Bro tama ka na hindi inaassess ng ACS ang education pag non-IT ang degree. May nabasa ako before na forumer na nag VETASSESS para may proof ang claim for education.

@Lexi @silverblacksoldier if via RPL and you want yung degree mka claim for Bachelor points, you have to submit sa VETASSESS for Points Test Advice, para no questions asked na.

@Lexi as per Sept28 na round nasa minimum 65points pa lang yung iniinvite sa visa 189/489.

@guenb thanks sa confirmation. Isasabay ko na yung VETASSESS habang in progress yung ACS ko. Meron ka idea gaano katagal VETASSESS? Sabi sa site 6 weeks eh. Accurate ba yun?

@silverblacksoldier sa haba na ng thread I can't remember exactly yung nabasa ko dati ng Points Test Advice only (for applicants with non-VETASSESS Occupations) . At most siguro nasa 4weeks, anyway are you done with english exam? Review ka na muna while waiting for results.

@guenb yup, yun na nga gagawin ko. Kailangan ko makakuha ng 8 sa lahat ng tests para maka 65 points ako. Haha kaya kailangan nga talaga magreview.

Hello!!! I'm newbie here. Just want to ask if meron ba sa inyo naka-experience na nagkamali ng submit sa ACS? Instead for skill assessment, unfortunately sa membership nakapag send ng documents and payment.
