@inhinyero_sg thanks you too. You know what? There are lots of colleagues here from SG too, here in our suburb in WA. In fact, our neighbor architect and church mate here is a SG citizen and he did mentioned to me that his son will come back to SG as he reach 18 years old for sort of obligatory country service in military (SG requirement as a citizen).

Hi all,

Magstart na ang Australian Open sa Melb.

Grab na your tickets. Sa mga may kids, meron yung Kids Tennis Day on January 14. Usually, yung mga tennis superstars like Murray,Serena Williams, etc andun sa Kids Day. It's a nice family experience kaya I'm encouraging everyone to go.

Hope it's not too hot though, hehe

@elleb1 yes EIPS public school for my 4 year old male kindy with one daughter (2nd) at Year 6 and our third son at Year 5 while my Year 8 (eldest daughter) is at ESC public school.

Now awaiting for my job applications to boom up as well as CENTRELINK receivable...regards B-)

@AspireAU21 Initial entry muna kami ng March 2017 to see the place then will decide later kung kelan mag big move. We are doing the same, apply2x ng job while offshore pero yun nga rejected lahat ng applications lalo na pag tinatanong kung nasa Aus na ba kami. @jedh_g hello sir ask ko lang ung sa 4yrs old mo na na enroll mo sa public skol, half day lang ba ung class or whole day and if u dont mind mahkano po ang payaran sa tuition sa public. Ung case ko kasi dalawa kids ko 4 and 3 yrs old pa lang, i heard mahal daw masyado pag mga ganung age pa

@Makaryo these are my answers:

1. Class begins from 8:45 AM until 11:45 AM for kindies (4 years old toddler). For my Years 5 & 6 primary son and daughter aged 10 & 9 years old, same time except later dismissal time around 2:45 PM.

2. If you're on Visa 189 or 190, your school tuition fee/s shall be free except if you're on Visa 457 (working visa). Around 800+ aud annually if you will shoulder the fees, if you're not entitled as permanent residents.

@Makaryo sa una ok lang hindi mag work si misis and focus on kids. Later na lang mag work si misis pag manageable na time and independent na kids sa school. Nagagamit lang naman ang combined income kapag nagloloan na kayo ng mortgage home nyo kasi mabilis approval pag dalawa na kayo working. Plus, see the bracket ng receivables sa CENTRELINK, better pa na walang work si misis.

@jedh_g , ask ko lang bout CENTRELINK, tama po ba na may marecieve ang PR dun? Nsa magkano po, paano to maavail at up to when siya ( I mean reasons na ma stop na sya?). Thanks sa reply.

1.) ALL PR's are entitled to avail CENTRELINK benefits + MEDICARE & Free School for kids. Non-PR visa holders cannot.
2.) Cash receivables from CENTRELINK are based on number of children, job status
3.) It could be availed by submitting documents required by satellite offices near you upon your first entry to Australia.
4.) CENTRELINK has a ceiling limit once you had reached it say for example your regular job is more than the income bracket (they shall inform this info when you apply). Gradually, as your work increase in base value, centrelink receivables on a fortnight basis shall also be inversely decrease until it ceases. Of course logic is you now pay tax so therefore making the government support you less as you prosper. To give you a baseline, I have 4 children aged 12, 10, 9 & 4. I have an estimate of 1,500 AUD per fortnight (every 2 weeks). Good enough to cover our weekly rent (300 AUD/wk), sustain my car's petrol (40 AUD/2 wks used daily) and grocery + utility bills (internet, water & electricity). Of course, entertainment expense comes in option if you got plenty of money to spend like going to movies, beach, etc. Make your wife happy and stress free and your life shall be good here in Australia. ;;)
