@aiayosef yung husband mo ba walang prior history ng TB, bale sa X-ray during medicak for visa, na lang nakita na may scarring of suspected TB tama ba?

Suggestion ko lang, if you had incurred ptb and got scar because of it, by all means declared it. I've declared mine, though my initial entry was shorter (6 months) my visa was approved without hiccups. They send me form 815 together with visa. Completed the xray follow-up here in australia (only once), and thats it. Tapos na. Kesa makitaan ka ng scar ng di mo maipaliwanag/ or tinago mo, evaluation for visa grant and follow time after grant will be much longer and problematic. i knew someone that needs to undergo xray and follow up for the scar here in Aussie every 6 months for 3 yrs period.

Parang wala akong matandaan na naglagay ako nyan, kasi student pa lang ako ng nagkaroon dati. tsaka better wag na cguro ilagay. Hindi na rin nila hinanap ung lumang xrays, alam naman nila kung active or not. Kasi kung alam nilang may history ka, ma confirm nila na scar un, kaya isang xray oks na. Kapag tinago mo or hindi sila sure, pababalik balikin ka pa. May binigay silang copy ng xray at results in CD para magamit ko daw in the future. Libre lang naman. Medyo mabagal lang public hospital nila sa xray at naghintay ako 3 oras, dami pila hahaha.

Isa pang tip kapag may scar due to PTB, if possible mas ok mag undergo ng xray sa first world countries (in my case sa SG). Kasi kung sa pinas ko ginawa, parang 100% may sputum test at another xray pa ulit LOL

@wizardofOz hello po. wla po xa history TB or any health problem. Well, mas sakitin pa nga po ako and prone lagi sa ubo't sipon. kya nagulat kami nung ganun ang nakita sa xray nya. and he has medical exam and xray few months before that for work purposes na ok nmn results kya clueless kmi bakit ganun result sa st. luke's. may nakausap po ako dito sa mga thread sa site na 'to, treated na ng TB ang asawa nya. binigyan n cla ng certification ng pulmonologist nila na cleared na asawa nya ng TB. Nung naglodge cla application, dineclare nila na may history nga ng TB and cleared na. sinama nila certification sa application nila. nag ask lang case officer nila na fill-up nila ung form ng Health Undertaking. un po ung prang agreement between applicants and Oz government na they will do follow-up check-up kpag nsa Oz na cla.

Ung kaibigan ko na walang history ng ptb pero may scar, sya ung required magfollow up dito every 6 months for 3 yrs kasi for sure may form 815 din ksama visa nyan. Kasi jan mahirap di sure kahit Australian medical department bakit ganun kaya mas mahaba monitoring. pero kung wala talagang history ganun talga. Mahirap din naman magimbento

@wizardofOz yung sa amin ng baby ko dineclare namin sa health declaration. pero okay na yung sa amin. antay na lang yung kay wifey na maclear yung kanya after nung culture.

@vhoythoy oo nga po strict sila. Nag-email po sa amin Australian Health officer regarding sa small opacity daw sa lungs ni husband and n irequire xa sputum smear and culture then they can give clearance kpag negative lhat result.

@vhoythoy sir ako po may history ng ptb sep 2007 pero treated na natpos ung 6 mos 2008. hindi ko na nga lang po mahanap kung nasan na ung medical clearance ko. Mula po 2008 takot na ko mag pa xray kasi nga daw po nag kaka scar ung lungs, pero since 2008 to present meaning aug 2015, sa APEs wala pong kahit anong scar or abnormalities na nakita. Laging ang impression po ay "normal chest study". Every time po mag papa APE ako dinedeclare ko naman po ung PTB history ko. Ang question ko po now e, idedeclare ko po ba na e history ako since wala naman po akong scar?
Napapraning na nga po ako sa kakaisip, kasi gusto ko ko talaga maging super honest dahil baka magback fire rin sa kin pag di ko dineclare.. e pero po wala naman akong scar to begin with, mejo nagdoubt nga po ako kung talagang mer ptb ako nun baka nagkamali lang since hindi ako nagpa second opinion.
Ngayon po ang balak ko ay pumunta sa pulmonologist at ipapakita ko po ung aug 2015 xray ko at magrerequest na rin ako ng sputum test.
Sana po sir mabigyan nyo ko ng advise.. naiistress po talaga ko. Salamat po.

Kung wala kang scar wag mo na I declare kung ako nasa position mo baka kasi maging hassle pa. Pero siguraduhin mo talagang wala. Pwede ka mag personal xray sa mga good hospital sa pinas (i.e. Makati med) and/or visit a specialist pulmonologist at confirm mo sa knila na wala sila nakikita. Mahirap kasi kung sa tabi2 lang magsasabi sayo. Ako kasi maninigurado ako kung ako nasa katayuan mo. Kasi may xray yan sa likod, meron sa gilid, baka may Makita. pero kung 100% sure kang wala nothing to worry.

@vhoythoy sir newbie here, iba naman po case ko.. My som was diagnosed with broncho pneumonia way back 2010 then nag meds nga cia nga 6mons, so every year pag nag APE kame cleared naman cia, so we declared it then submit nalang kame ng cert from his pedia na nagkaron nga cia and nag meds nadin.
Then, approved na nga kme pero they said na need daw namen mag undergo ng check up again ni son onced we arrived here. So nagulat kame ni hubby na baket pati ako kasama considering na cleared tlaga lahat nh xrays so.. So to cut the story short, pina skin test nila ko dito and they found out na positive ang skin test ang exposed daw ako. Nothing to worry naman kasi treatable naman daw case ko.. so scheduled fup check up ako by jan2016 para naman ibigay na nila yung meds ko which i will have to take for 6mons.si son naman today ang sked for check up baka i skin test din cia..

xray lang wag na sputum. Need lang nman un kapag may nakita sa xray. Nagiging mandatory lang kasi yan sa pinas, tingin ko dahil 3rd world country baka mas mahigpit kapag galing sa atin ang medical. pansin ko kasi yan sa mga accredited hospital jan. Kaya ako sa Singapore ako nagpamedical, sobrang ginhawa walang mga sputum2. ayun walang problema direct grant.

@georgie pwede ba sa canada at australia kahit may scar kasi ako may scars din pero negative naman ako sa tb. Ni hindi ko nga alam kung panuh ako nagkameron. Kasi dito sa pinas sa pinagtatrabahohan kada 5months ako nag papa medical. And nag pa private doktor ako about sa lungs. Ok naman wala naman silang makitang pelat sabi ng doktor

Hi guys! For those who had their medicals in St. Lukes BGC and had PTB history, do they require na yung medical certificate stating the previous treatment should be typewritten or they accept naman even if handwritten lang? Also, do they automatically require sputum tests or kapag may scarring lang? Thanks!

Ask ko lng po,nagpa cxray for student visa sa NZ mgksama kami ni gf,den nkareciv kami ng email from nationwide na nasubmit na nga dw nila sa NZ immigration ung test result,ngtaka ko kc ung sa gf ko may nklgay ng result n normal nga ung test nia akin wala kya tumawag ako sa nationwide. Sabi nila possible pneumonia dw ung nasa xray tpos ung NZ immigration n dw bhla dun kung anung ggwin sa result. As of now kasi on process plang ung visa. Meron po ba dito na nka encounter ng same case?pinapa sputum test p po ba un kasi sa mga nbasa ko po dito scaring and about tb ung mga nadelay sa result nila. Anu po kyang recommendation ng NZ immigration dito?thank you po!

@Drew26 hintayin mo muna n kontakin ka ng dibp kung maglalagay cla ng additional test. Or check mo ung emedical baka nag lahay n cla ng additional health exam kung ano suggestion nila.

Pero normally pag may nakita s xray pinag sputum nila. Di nmn ibig sabihin n may TB kna pag pinga sputum. Gusto lng nla malaman kung may potential maging TB ung scar n un.
Sa ngaun abangan mo sa emedical kung may additional n madadagdag s test mo.

Hi to all. I have one concern po, . I was actually diagnosed nag PTB INACTIVE last 2011 and applying for a job in australia ngayon. Tanong ko lang po is it really a factor na kinoconsider sa visa application kapag nagtake ng medications for 6months? Since 2011 this was already a scar according sa pulmonologist ko.and even yung sputum test ko po puro negative results. Is it critical to take medication?hope sana may makatulong.

@hopeful101 , yung panel clinic mismo ang makaka determine nyan thru X-ray at documented informations/proof na meron ka like past medical history ( pulmonologist clearance ).

@hopeful101 if you have an old x-ray, 6months ago or older, bring it sa medical mo. They need that. Wala naman issue diyan. They just need to make sure na scar Lang. And if active pa Yan, medicine Lang madedelay Ka Lang, Hindi madedeny

Hi po sa lahat. Ask ko lng po if meron dito naka twice na ma defer ang xray results due to opacity sa isang parte ng lungs? Bale sa husband ko po to nangyari. Im on student visa and currently here in australia for 4years na. so pinag apply ko si husband ng student dependent visa. he had his first xray nung oct 3, after 2 weeks bupa deferred it since may opacity, they requested for sputum, culture and repeat xray, he has no history of ptb. We got the results after more than 2 months, negative ang sputum, negative din culture. Then nag repeat xray January 4,2016. Then after a week, bupa replied again, they deferred it stating na they are not sure whether he meet the health requirements and no specific reason. They requested another repeat xray April 4.so hiningi namin ang results sa st lukes ermita and sa findings nila:Partial resolution of left mid lung infiltrates and non calcified nodule since oct 3, 2016 lng nakalagay. . We are devastated with these bad news. we have everything checked sa local doctor, wala namang problem. And hindi naman siya ni refer sa gamutan kasi negative nga ang sputum at culture before.meron bang same na situation dito? akala kasi namin after repeat cray tuloy2 na. it will be like 7months in april na ang waiting time namin and we're exhausted. Any possible solution on this matter? Thanks so much po

@paulcasablanca1980 thanks po sa feedback. Currently im taking medicine. I opted to take medication kahit hindi naman inadvice ni pulmo ko. ako talaga nag insist na mag treatment ako. nasa ika 3rd month na po ko ng medication, i have ongoing interviews right now with my employer. yung concern ko po, kapag for example na naggagamot ako during the medical exam,do the panel clinic will advise na tapusin ko muna 6 months before ako ma process ang visa?even na inactive nmn po ako?

@xiaolico thanks po sa reply. i heard it would also be a factor in medical during visa application kapag naggamot at hindi, tama po ba? kaya ako, nag pa reseta ako sa doctor ng 6 months gamutan para sa supporting medical documents ko. kaso nga lang po may mga opportunity ngayon, nag gagamot plang ako. ok lang kaya na mag apply na ako visa if ever kahit ongoing medication? maraming salamat po senio @paulcasablanca1980

@xiaolico thanks po. ang worry ko po kai kapag nagpamedical ako e itanong saken if naggamot na ba ako o hindi. tapos kapag sinabi ko na ongoing pa, baka dun sabihan ako na tapusin muna medication.that time baka di na makaintay employer ko. thanks po ulet
