    Hello everyone hope you are well. Hingi po sana ako ng feedback if it is really necessary to avail the services of an Immigration lawyer if magaapply ng VISA once lumabas na ang ANMAC approval? Your insights will be deeply appreciated. God bless and have a great week ahead!

    @ZboyandAngel Cajulao Hi, Do you have a complicated case? If not, then you don't have to. It's pretty easy to apply because the ANMAC LOD will state (indirectly) what you can claim for. I did the PR Visa application by myself. Just don't over claim points because that's where refusals happen.

    @Cassey This is noted po and thanks for the advice. Just got my LOD and nag lodge na din po ako ng EOI. Do you have an idea how long po ang waiting time for an invitation to is granted? By the way ma'am iclarify ko din po in the event na naglodge kami ng VISA 189 application then an employer would provide VISA 457 sponsorship. How will that work po? Thanks again!

    @ZboyandAngel Cajulao I'm not quite sure how long the current wait is but during our time last year, we got an invite right on the next invitation round just about 2weeks wait. In my opinion, I would rather grab the chance to become a Permanent Resident than just be on a temporary visa (457). Just what I am always saying, Immigration rules change from time to time so it's always good to have that security. 457 Visa takes time to process as well, so since you'll also wait why would you opt to wait for a temporary one if there's an opportunity to be PR.

    @Cassey Thanks for the advice. So hindi po ppwede na tumatakbo ang VISA 189 application if bigla ka makakuha ng employment which will grant you a 457 sponsorship? Kasi po nung Monday sabay po bumalik ang positive LOD ko from ANMAC and at the same time i was profiled for a final interview for a possible employment at Gosford Private which will take place tomorrow. I was under the impression po kasi na you can be employed and at the same time you can still continue to apply for your VISA 457. Your insights on this will be deeply appreciated.

    @ZboyandAngel Cajulao

    Whichever visa is granted last will cancel the previous visa grant. If your PR visa gets granted first you need to cancel the 457 application ASAP. Otherwise the 457 Visa will cancel your PR Visa, that is according to the DIBP staff.

    By the way, finding a job as a nurse here in Australia isn't hard especially if you have an overseas experience.

    @Cassey Hi Cassey, I just receive my LOD RN NEC but did not state any points for my work experience..
    I have worked 1 year company nurse , 10months acute surgical, 6 months critical & emergency , 1 year Agency Nurse

    Can I claim points for that? 3 years in total for 5points?

    Appreciate your thoughts on this... Maraming Salamat

    @HappyLauren

    Hi, Congrats on your LOD. Unfortunately you cannot claim points if it was not stated in your ANMAC LOD because if you do it will be a ground for your visa refusal. They don't directly state there the points that you can claim. They only state there the year/years of work experience that is recognized. They only recognize it as 3 yrs if all your experience/job description, etc falls into the ANZSCO code that you applied for.

    @Cassey Thank you Cassey, The LOD stated all my RN experience but did not consider the HCA or Adaptation Nurse experience hence I will not get any points for experience at all kase yung RN ko hinde umabot 3 years although my COE as staff nurse abot ng 3 years kase adaptation nurse to RN sobra 3 years.

    I need to get 20points. I have to take IELTS all 8 or PTE to achieve 20points.

    Thank you for your input on this @Cassey

    @HappyLauren No worries at all. If you are lacking 5points, you may also consider Visa 190 or State sponsorship. It'll give you 5 points. Anyway, good luck on your application. You're almost there.

    @jepoy_astig_25 If you want to practice your profession here in Au, you have to study first to gain registration here in Australia. You can either take the bridging course which is 3months at the moment or you can take up a 1yr conversion course. If you plan to study bridging program, you can either get a Tourist visa (no work rights) or a student visa (work allowed: 20hrs/week). With the conversion, it's just through student visa. After you gain your registration as a Nurse here then you can get your skills assessment and apply for PR if you meet the points for migration.

    Hello again everyone. Question ulit, me and my family just applied for our medical exam in relation to our VISA 457 application and naka schedule po kami to take it this Saturday. Then last night po nabigyan na din kami ng invitation to lodge our VISA 189 application. Ask ko lang po if we have to apply for a new HAP ID for this or ihohonor na po yung ginamit for the 457? Looking forward of hearing your advice and have a great day ahead!

    @ZboyandAngel Cajulao You can use your old HAP ID. Just make sure to get all the necessary tests for your nominated occupation and let them know that you'll be applying for 189 visa instead.

    @Cassey Thanks ma'am Casey so to confirm, no need to apply for a NEW HAP ID then iinform na lang si clinic na for PR ang itatake na medical. Pero Ma'am Casey we will still be lodging the 457 Visa since naka pirma na kami contract after malodge ang 457 e saka namin ilodge si 189 we can use the same medical exams for both application naman po no?Thanks again.

    @ZboyandAngel Cajulao There's no need to apply for another one. If you are using it for 457 first then your form should be for 457 Visa. When the time comes and you'll be applying for 189, just put into your 189 application the HAP ID that you used for the 457. Usually, the staff will ask if you're planing to apply for PR Visa in the future so just let them know as well so that they can tell you if you'll need any additional test/s.

    @moogz02 Hi. I received message of receipt 3 days after the courier said it was delivered. You can send an inquiry through AHPRA page, state your name, birthday and other identity details. They'll reply usually after 3 working days.

    Hello,

    Ask ko lang if I can still be eligible to apply for AHPRA. I have work experience from 2011-2014 but after that I moved to UAE kaya lang di ko napursue yung nursing profession ko naiba ako ng line of work due to higher offer din kasi. If I am going to take BP and apply for AHPRA in 2018 or 2019 would my experience still qualified sa within 5 years na requirement? Hope you reply guys. Thank you. :)

    Hello guys! Ms. @Cassey, ask ko lang po sana kung anong details ang nakalagay sa LOD ng ANMAC? Like years of experience recognized and ano pa po? Sila ba ang magsasabi if you can claim points for education?
    Thank you!

    @keynkey Aside from the work experience nakalagay din run kung saan ka grumaduate ( both Phil and Au education) tapos yung evidence provided why it is recognized, nakastate run kung suitable ka for migration or not.
