Eto mga kakailanganin nyo na resources:
1. Test Bank - search PTE Gold in Youtube or PTE Academic
2. PTE Score Guide (para alam mo kung paano ka isscore) - http://pearsonpte.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/PTEA_Score_Guide.pdf
3. PTE Tutorial Interface (para alam mo kung ano ieexpect sa screen) - http://pearsonpte.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Tutorial.pdf
4. Two notebooks and a thick inked pen (e.g., classic pilot sign pen) for writing answers – why thick inked pen? The sharpie that will be used during the PTE Exam is makapal ang sulat so kailangan masanay ka na using a thick inked pen rather than a 0.3 or 0.5 mm pen.
5. Phone where you can record your answers into a Notepad. I suggest the iphone Notes app.
Okay, G!
SPEAKING
Preface: Be aware na sabay2 kayo magsasalita ng mga test takers. Walang hintayan ito. Anticipate na madidistract ka talaga. Focus lang on the task at hand. Wag ka magpadistract. Hindi naman sila ang sscorean ng computer eh – ikaw! hehe
1. Read aloud – read the paragraph and look for difficult words or phrases kung saan possibleng magkamali/mabulol ka. While reading, observe a moderate pace and open your mouth while speaking. Click next once you finish.
2. Repeat Sentence – This is not for everyone, pero I wrote the first letters of each word while absorbing the sentence. After which, I spoke in, AGAIN, a moderate pace while checking off each letter from my notes. TAKE NOTE! Content is 3 points only while Oral Fluency and Pronunciation is 5 points EACH FOR ALL SPEAKING TESTS. So focus more on HOW YOU SAY the sentence (kahit may namiss out ka) kaysa getting each and every word correct.
3. Describe Image – Make sure you understand yourself while speaking. Kung di mo nagegets sarili mo, mas madali ka mawawala. Keep practicing. Familiarity of the different images is key for a smooth run.
4. Retell lecture – Note all key points. (e.g., name of a person, a place, an event, a date/era, figures, impacts, effects). “The lecture talks about…”
5. Answer Short Question – make an intelligent guess if you don’t know the answer. Speak very clearly.
WRITING
Preface: Anticipate 2-3 Summarize Written Texts and 1-2 Write Essays. Sakin ata 3 SWTs tapos 2 WEs. Kamusta naman diba? hehe
1. Summarize Written Text – Summarize the paragraphs in one complete complex/compound sentence. I recommend that you make use of super punctuations like semicolon (;) en dash (-) em dash (--). If you do not know how to use these, look it up while you have the time.
2. Write Essay – Use Batman’s template. Shout out to Mr. @batman for giving a sick template. Give time to check your spelling and grammar. Magpasok ka rin ng mga highfaluting words AS LONG AS the context is correct. Wag yung tipong feel mo lang ilagay pero mali naman pala meaning. haha
READING
Preface: Weakness ko to so I gave more time in practicing for this test. Get your pen and paper ready. Note that the order will change so it is best to write down the order of the tests under this portion so you know what to expect. Also note that this exam is timed so train yourself to answer accurately under time pressure. Click next agad after every answer.
1. Multiple Choice, Choose Single/Multiple Answer/s – Read the prompt and note the key words/phrases in the prompt. Read the choices and familiarize yourself of repeated words or concepts. I wrote down the choices 1-4 from top to bottom on my notepad para ma X ko yung mga sure akong wrong answers.
2. Reorder paragraph – Read all the sentences first so you have an idea of the passage. Identify the independent sentence, then use Subject Verb Object strategy (see E2 Language Youtube for more details) para mafeel yung flow ng passage. Read the paragraph again to check if it makes complete sense. This part is particularly hard to prepare for kasi feeling mo ang bobo mo sa Reorder Paragraph sa mga test bank. Pero Keri naman sa actual! Kinaya ko so Kayang Kaya mo rin!

*OPTIONAL BREAK* Take this break to drink water and pee. Do not rush back in. Your brain cells need to regroup, rest and prepare for the next exam. REST talaga ah, wag ka atat.
LISTENING
Preface: Note that this exam (except for Summarize Spoken text) is time bound so train yourself to answer accurately under pressure. Click next agad after every answer.
1. Summarize Spoken Text – if you are a fast typer/typist like me, merely type the details of the passage. Note all key points. (e.g., name of a person, a place, an event, a date/era, figures, impacts, effects). Start with “The lecture talks about…”
2. Multiple Choice, Choose Single/Multiple Answer/s – habang hindi pa nagsisismula ang speaker, read the prompt and note the key words/phrases in the prompt. While the speaker is talking, glance at the choices and mentally note familiar words or concepts. I wrote down the choices 1-4 from top to bottom on my notepad para ma X ko yung mga sure akong wrong answers.
3. Fill in the blanks – look at the words/phrases before the blank so you know when to pay utmost attention. Use the tab key to jump from one blank to the next. Check your spelling before hitting next.
4. Select Missing Word - Listen up to the last drop. Use trial and error by recalling the last phrases mentioned by the speaker.
5. Highlight Incorrect Word – sabayan mo yung speaker magsalita in your head and click on the words that differ from what was spoken. Never glance back kasi baka may mga banggitin na yung speaker na variations tapos di mo naclick. Sige ka. Lol
6. Highlight Correct Summary – notes notes notes. Note all key points (e.g., name of a person, a place, an event, a date/era, figures, impacts, effects). Also take note of repeated words.
7. Write from Dictation – write the first letter of each word. Then type. Check your spelling and capitalization before hitting next.
Goodluck!
DISCLAIMER: Although I did not use a test bank or test guide to help me in the exam, nasa sayo parin yan to objectively gauge your skills and see if whether you need additional resources to pass the exam. I posted this to help those na gusto pumasa with a budget

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Eto yung template na ginamit ko though I think cinustomize ko na siya ng onti to my style of writing:
INTRODUCTION – Nowadays, there is an on-going dispute between people about (two sides). // Although some may claim that (side you disagree), my belief is that (side of choice). // This essay will present the assertion for both sides of the argument before deducing a reasonable conclusion.
SIDE A – There are several reasons why I believe that (side of choice). // Firstly, it is believed that (example 1). // It should also be taken into consideration that (example 2). // Furthermore, there are concerns about (example 3). Whereas (side of choice) is (details), (side not chosen) is (details).
SIDE B – Those who are in favor of (side you disagree) have a different standpoint and say that it can actually be a good/bad thing. // First of all, these people claimed that (example 1). // It can also be argued that (example 2). // A third point is, (example 3).
CONCLUSION – Although there are strong contentions on both sides of the case, // my personal opinion is that (side of choice) is better than (side not chosen) due to (repeat deciding factors) // Therefore, I highly recommend that (recommendation).
