Guys, I recently been invited to apply for 189 Visa. Although I took my IELTS 2 years ago (Nov 2010), I read in the Skill Select website that they increased the validity of IELTS results to 3 years.
Yung same result din ang ginamit ko when I submitted my EOI. Pero yung sa mismong IELTS Test Reform ko nakalagay 2 years lang valid....mag ka problem kaya ako when I will use this to submit for the visa application?

Since mabilis naman ang processing lately, I would say it would be safe to work on your police clearance as soon as possible and your medicals as soon as your application gets acknowledged.

Natapos ko din sa wakas ang paglodge and payment AUD3,060 (sakit sa bulsa). Guys sa mga nagtatry mag-attach ng documents tama po ba itong link na ito sa pag-upload ng documents? https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/visas/attachment/start.do?attachType=VISA_APPLICATION&group=travel several time kasi ko nagtry maglogin using my TRN pero laging Session Timeout kahit i-try ko pa sa ibang browser.

Dahil sa IELTS kaya nagka-delay delay ang application ko... I'm trying to claim the additional 10pts sana para maka-70pts ...kaya lang 3x nako nagtake ng IELTS until now hindi pa din ako maka at least 7 in all bands, in every attempt laging may isang nagiging 6.5 randomly... 1st attempt 6.5 speaking, 2nd attempt 6.5 writing and my last exam reading naman ang naging 6.5 ...supposedly I'm about to schedule my 4th attempt ng bigla ako naka-receive ng invitation from SkillSelect last November1... thanks to God! Naawa na siguro sakin si Lord kasi naka-ilang exam nako sa IELTS, bukod sa malaki na nagagastos ko sobrang frustrating pa.
Btw, last July pa ko nag-apply ng EOI kahit I only have 60pts... panigurado lang just like what others have suggested sa mga forums... and now naubos na ang mga 65pts, our turn naman finally! and in fairness mabilis din talaga process nila since November palang ngayon.
Ayun lang po... I just like to share may experience and struggles sa IELTS haha... finally nakapag-lodge din!

If you currently have 60 pts, it is best to lodge now so that you will be in the waiting list for those with 60 pts. Remember that if you have the same points (in this case, 60 pts), those that lodged earlier will be the one who will get the invite.
If and when you will a better IELTS score - you can eventually edit your EOI.

I already had an invitation from DIAC for visa application thru the SkilSelect. I did seek the help of a migration agent because I am working here in Libya. I also got a successful state sponsorship from WA. Upon approval of the state sponsorship, the DIAC immediately invited me. I am in the process now of obtaining a medical examination and police clearances here in Libya.
My migration agent took care of all the important things needed, like certifying all my documents, accomplishing application forms, and most importantly in submitting an EOI.
VETASSESS assessed my skills and I got a 7.5 in the IELTS exam (academic module).
It took me less than a year to accomplished everything.
I hope that everyone of us will have a succesful outcome!!!

- you just have to wait, or mag log in ka dun sa site nila. but if they said na pending, maghihintay lang talaga, pero sinususnod naman nila ang binigay nilang time frame, within that period maglalabas at maglalabas sila ng result. I hope this will help.
