    @jaero

Ano yung sayo? Nakasabay ba kita sa Victoria SS? Halos lahat kasi kami laglag sa Victoria hehehe.

    Guys, help me. I'm confused.

Hi guys, I'm actually confused and scared to lodge for an assessment.

I'm worried kasi my husband while naa sa pinas, may time na pa palit2x ng work. Though we were able to get a COE na with detailed job description, worried lang ako kasi baka d pa ready or d pa dapat diba.. mahal kasi ang bayad..

Please let me hear what can you say about his experience.. We've been planing for this migration for the past year, gather lang kami ng data saka requirements hopefully first week of December maka submit na kami to ACS assessment.

BSIT course nya sa UC-Main Cebu Category 2

    Experience nya:
1 yr 4 mos 1 day Printer Company, Tester Pinas
5 mos 12 days Call Center Tech Support Pinas
5 mos 8 days Call Center Tech Support Pinas
1 yr 4mos 24 days Systems Admin sa Singapore
1 yr 5 mos 5 days Systems Admin sa Singapore up to present

Total, sali na ang years, months, days.. equals to 5 years and 20 days! as of this writing yan at until magpa assess kami sa ACS next month..

Plan namin maglodge sa Visa application is next year mga march cguro, sakto prang 5 years and 4 mos na sya sa Work experience..

    Questions:
Need ba namin mag agency? complicated ba yang Experience at school nya?
If mag proceed kami sa online application, meron ba kayong alam na ganito dn same ang situation sa husband ko?

Can you tell from your points of view if papasa kaya kami? Should we push through with our application?

    Pls share your ideas, thanks.

    __________________________________________________ ___________________

    Age - 30 points

    IELTS - 10 points
( not sure if maka 7 each band siya, mag practice lang talaga, lalo na ang 8 points 20 sana un hehe)

Skilled employment outside of Australia, 5 years - 10 points
(Dito kami nagworry grabe, kasi baka d macompute ng maayos ang days saka months tapos d sya umabot sa 5 years, kasi pag 3 years lang, 5 points lang yun)

    Educational Qualification - 10 points

People were rushing and cracking the whip to get on the deadline but me was very relaxed. Shame on me. I was so desperate when Computing Professional was scrapped and the new ICT occupations were introduced.

Fed-up ako sa ACS at DIAC that time. My mind tells me to give up but my ego wont let me. However na-inspire ako sa ibang visa grantees. After reading their testimonials, success stories and the miseries and trials they have went through, I then applied for re-assessment. The skills assessment application wasn't successful at first, but after a month I submitted new application with new set of documents. After obtaining positive skills assessment I applied for state sponsorships and they were all rejected. Imagine, i had 3 state sponsorship rejections hahahah. I applied for visa 175 out of despair.

    @alexamae

    Age: 30

    IELTS: 10 (band 7)

Overseas Experience: 5 or maybe 10

Note that call center tech support job is not a professional ICT occupation. However you can tailor your job duties and responsibilities to match any ICT occupations on SOL. Remember that ACS is not particular on the job title. What they look into consideration is the job duties. If ACS gave you credits on this job, then yes, you can demand for 10 pts for overseas experience.

    Educational Qualification – 10

    Sponsored State – 5 (visa 176) or 10 (475)

    --------------

    Here are your options:

Total = 65 pts (if overseas experience is 10 pts) Go for visa 176.
Total = 65 pts (if overseas experience is 5 pts) Go for 475.

@alexamae: the way ACS does their assessment is based on the nominated occupations. since your husband has 3 occupations within the 5 years of work experience, you will need to choose among the 3 and you cannot include the work experience that is not related to the nominated occupation. for example, you can opt to nominate for tester but you can only submit the 1 yr 4 months experience and it's up to ACS how they will assess it. though i believe you will need at least 3 years of experience on a nominated field, not sure though but you can read up their guidelines. it helps a lot.

    Time Line:
    09-08-2011: ACS received physical documents
    10-13-2011: ACS result (PIM3, Group A)

I was taking MS Computer Science kasi then nag AWOL ako. I indicated na AWOL ako sa masters degree kaya siguro na misinterpret ng case officer ko kaya nag-verify sila sa UP hehehe. Akala yata may kaso ako or grievances sa school kaya na-AWOL hahahaha. Samantalang AWOL means i failed to submit Leave of ABsence lang or LOA.

Advise ko sa mga applicants, don't put any confusing words that will lead to suspicion.

Read thoroughly DIAC and ACS website again and again. Use your own rational thinking and judgment for every pieces of info you read from the official website. Once na master mo na ang guidelines, what we can offer and feed are cases and information to substantiate the facts if you are seeking for second opinion. Not all of us have the same circumstances nor have gone through the same process. Himay-himayin mong mabuti ang guidelines. Coz at the end of the day, you are the one who will be charged for the fees, and whatever outcome in your application.

Kung in-doubt ka at hindi confident sa papers mo, at hinahabol mo ang before July 2012, then I would advise you to hire registered migration agent.

@tootzkie Tama ka po. I really have to read the guidelines again and again.. Kahit more than 1 year na ako nag research meron pa din ako na overlook. Akala ko kasi ung total experience ang echecheck ng ACS, hindi pala... yun lang palang na fall under dun sa category nila for assessment. Na misled ako.. Babasahin ko agad ng pa ulet2x.. Thankful pa din ako sa forum kasi kahit papano may mga ideas dn naman po kayong naibibigay which is very helpful din para sa amin na nagreresearch palang din..

Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat :)

Guys, regarding naman sa passport. I've read it somewhere here na din yata, pero hindi ko lang maalala details. What if example nagsubmit ka application ngayon and yun passport mo will expire between 6-12 months from now. And nag-expire na bago ma-grant yun visa mo. Paano po yun? Since sa application form mo is yun expired passport #, syempre pagpunta mo sa OZ if ma-approve ka, yun bago na gagamitin mo. Paano po yun? Thanks.
