tanong ko lang po, if mag apply husband ko for NSW, can we claim partner skill points para sa akin? nasa list ng occupation for subclass 190 yun occupation ko pero not for NSW

Proof that when you were invited to apply for this visa, your partner:

was under 50 years old
had competent English.
had a suitable skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority for their nominated skilled occupation. Your partner’s nominated skilled occupation must be on the same skilled occupations list as your nominated skilled occupation.

Hello Po!

I would like to ask your opinion whether i should pursue my au dream kasi hndi ko sure kung may chances ba?

I would like to be asssed for Chemistry Technician hoping makakuha ng SS190 for NSW stream 2.

I will be submitting my docs sa vetasses for assssment tomorrow and halos aabutin ng 3 months ang outcome, while waiting i will still have time to study for PTE, sana lng hindi mtanggal yung occupation sa changes in July 2018.

Eto sana ang Breakdown ng points ko;

Age :30
Experience :10
Educ :15
PTE: 10
SS: 5

Total:70

Age eligibility for the 189 and 190 skilled visas is locked in at the time of invitation - whatever your age is/was on the date your invitation was issued will be the age you receive points for.

So if you have lodged your EOI and while you are awaiting an invitation your age changes, the system will update and reduce or increase your points accordingly. It's also important if you spend time awaiting an invitation to update your work experience so if you go over one of the thresholds that awards more points for more work experience, you can get credit for those points.

@Hendro Yes, you have a higher chance of getting an invite for visa 190 based on your points. Nevertheless, your experience points will depend on the result of the assessment and i would also suggest to aim for superior since it will greatly impact your points. If you get a superior rating on ur PTE and if your assessment will result to 5yrs credit (equivalent to 10pts), your pts will increase to 80pts. GOd bless! :-bd

@UbePandesal Thank you for the useful links! After checking wala talagang open for my occupation so stream 2 lng ng NSW ang inaasahan ko. Sana nga hindi mawala sa STSOL sa darating na changes in July.

@vincechaos marami parin ba na iinvite for stream 2? Yes Im hoping makakuha ng superior for PTE para mas mataas ang points. Pero ngdadalawang isip ako kung worth it ba at my chance ba sa stream 2 kasi parang wala nmn ako nababasa for my occupation.

@Hendro , ako ang nangyari sa akin, nagpa assess ako sa VETASSES kasi meron akong atleast 5 years of working experience, then after 3 months rejected lahat and hindi raw relevant ang work experience ko. Nag pa reassess kami and last December 2017 ang na credit lang is 1 year so no point yun. Also, at that time SA ang plan sana namin dahil dun open yung Facilities Manager na role ko kaso nung lumabas yung result bigla namang nag iba ang policy ni SA at need na raw ng 85 points. So ang ginawa ko dahil 10 points lang ako nun sa IELTS e nagpasa pa rin kami sa NSW under stream 2 and a week after na naka superior ako sa PTE nag update kami. After 3 months nakuha ko na NSW pre invite ko.

@Hendro, total ko 70 pts nung na invite ako nitong March 16 lang under stream 2 rin ako. pataasin mo pa rin yung IELTS or PTE mo. I suggest PTE kunin mo.

@mxv588t oo nga sir, sa lunes ko balak mgsubmit ng online for vetasses assessment, habang ngiintay ako magaaral ako ng PTE sana mka superior. 3 months din ang waiting time sa assesment.

Sir marerecommend mo ba na mag pa priority processing ako? instead magwait ng 3 months? and downside lng eh gagastos ng malaki tska msyado nmn mmdali sa pagreview ng PTE..

Nung ngpa reassessment po kyo, yung qualification po ang pinareaasess nyo or ung work experience?

Sorry, I don't get what you mean about sa priority processing? My agent was the one who submitted our docs to VETASSESS and I haven't heard of any priority processing.

Yung pina re assess namin is yung work experience. Bale nagsubmit din kami ng org chart and nirevise namin yung employment certificate and ginawang mas detailed. Need mo ulit magbayad pag nagpa reassess ka.

@mxv588t ah okay po, sana nga positive agad ang mkuha ko para iwas sa bayad ulit, may nabasa kasi ako sa vetasses na 10 days processing ang priority pero there is an additional payment on top of the fee for full skill assesment.

@Hendro depende ata sa occupation and qualifications yung priority processing. Pero kung di naman problema sayo yung budget, the earlier na makuha mo assessment results, the better.

You need to make sure na you have All necessary documents and meet the deadline.

"There's no way to 100% guarantee that the case officer won't find something to take issue with, meaning that the application defaults to standard processing. All one can do is supply everything required to the best of your knowledge. If the case officer decides to do a quick google search on the reference, and can't find the employer for some reason, maybe the website is down, they may decide to ping it back there and then.

The applicant has no 'right' to priority processing, or recourse to complain if the case officer decides that the application does not meet priority processing standards. Since they refund the priority fee in these circumstances, Vetassess feel that the policy is sound.

Of course, if you have an age deadline and *need* a positive assessment in the next few days and you are approaching a deadline which makes you ineligible for migration, then you might have a different view!

All documents must be provided at time of application. If there is anything missing or not provided to their satisfaction then the application reverts to standard processing times and the priority fee is refunded."

@agd Hi bro! bka magstick nalang ako sa normal processing hehe! Nakakapanghinayang ung additional payment eh! tsaka magaaral pko PTE kaya wla rin sense kung mag ppriority ako.. salamat!
