@joy.0491 you need to look at beyond the slots. Immigration is not focused on the slots but rather on what migrants can bring in to Australia’s economy. It make sense to award points on applicants with partners who have skills or even those who could speak good English vs those with partners with limited skills. That way, the system is able to prioritise applicants who would most likely contribute more to the country. This is the whole point of the changes in the point system.

@RheaMARN1171933 thank you.. yes I understand. Better talaga yun new system, maprioritize yung mga may skills, given pa na slots for visa grants were reduced for year 2019-2020.. sana lang di masyado taasan cut-off pts for pro-rata occupations after the implementation haha

@Supersaiyan Mas mataas ang additional points ngayon for 489 kesa 190. Mukhang yung +15 points ay ibibigay lang sa new 491 visa at hindi sa 190. Pero binabase ko lang yan dun sa chart ng Iscah.

While mas mahaba na ang residency and work requirements for 491 sa tingin ko kung may work opportunities naman sa regional areas ay worth considering ang visa na ito. Remember na yung regional areas also include some capital cities like Adelaide, Darwin, and Hobart. Mas nagiging strict na ang Australia sa immigration so mas mabuti nang makakuha ng any GSM visa as soon as possible. 2 cents ko lang naman.

@maguero I see. Salamat po sa insights. Yun din po ang nkikita ko, more benefit for 491 visa unlike sa 190. Pero kung papipiliin ako, sa 489 na ko, sa 491 ksi matagal tagal na bunuan sa PR.

@Supersaiyan Matter of timing na lang kung kailan maiinvite. Since 491 will replace 489 starting November 16 I guess kung maiinvite before then, 489 pa yung makakuha. Kung maiinvite after, 491 na. Yun ang pagkakaintindi ko although I'm sure there will be more details later on.

Need ko maghanap ng new work para maka claim ako ng additional 5 points.
After ng 5 month of being employed eto magiging update sa points ko.

Kaya todo job hunt ako ngayon. Sana makahanap na ng work para madagdagan ng 5 points yung EOI ko.

@Ellabelle As long as you meet the minimum points requirement of SA on the day that you submit your state sponsorship application, okay na. May occupations sila na minimum points lang required and may occupations na as high as 80 points ang required.

Hi guys, question, na provide ko na yung documents na kailangan pa (FBI clearance) and inupload ko lang dun sa attachments section ng application ko. May kailangan pa ba ako gawin to let them know? I don't see a way to contact them and even the CO who sent me the email did not provide an email address. Thanks in advance!

question on visa lodging: talaga ba walang option sa primary applicant para magattach ng evidence of marriage/relationship? na kay dependent/secondary applicant lang talaga yung option na yun? thanks.

@donyx yes — sa secondary applicant lang ilalagay, since yung primary applicant wala namang bearing kung single / married / defacto sa visa. Sa secondary ipprove relationship niya sa primary.

By experience po sa mga may grant na, ok lang ba na No ang sagot dito and gano katagal nyo nareceive yung grant?

If yes naman po and you indicated na you'll be staying sa relative or friend, na contact po ba ni CO yung relative or friend nyo?

Pano po magpass ng another EOI for 190?
Nagsubmit po kme ng eoi for 189 last april... waiting for ITA... gusto po sana namen itry mag 190... nurses... either NSW or VIC... any advice po?

@n3n_3pqln to give you an idea, you can create another EOI under the same email address or using another email address then from then, piliin mo ang visa 190.

just create a new one similar process lang as how you created your eoi for visa 189.
madami yan discussion check mo nalang din sa google or lets wait pa ng konti for others (who have an experience creating multiple eois) for advise.

@n3n_3pqln same lang po process kung pano kayo nagcreate ng 189 EOI niyo. i suggest do one EOI for each state you are intending to apply. also, check the states invitation policy baka may mga additional requirement sila before kayo magsubmit ng EOI.

another question on visa lodging for dependents: yung option ba na "Qualifications - Overseas, Evidence of" required lang kung nagclaim ng partner skill? d kasi ako nagclaim ng partner skill. Salamat!

Just a question lang din, have you had a previous job na you did not include in the assessment kasi wala ka ng records na naitago and the company no longer exists anymore? For this scenario, mas okay ba na wag nalang syang ideclare sa form 80 since wala rin naman proof na you worked for that company and you did not claim points for this experience? This experience was only 9mos after graduation. Thank you po sa makakasagot

@auyeah we have a lot of work experience na dineclare namin kahit na wala ng evidence. I guess what matters lang is yung last 10 years na experience na posibleng mahingan ng evidence (specifically if claiming points).

Medyo kakatakot din kasi hahaha kaya dineclare namin everything.
