Hi all!

Glad i found this thread. Just a quick question lang po..i already submitted my vetassess application on 19-03-2019..then lodged on 21-03-2019..the i got communicated by vetassess them saying that they've considered my request and noted that I still have to submit the outstanding doc (SS) that they're asking me to upload. I already uploaded everything from employment contracts, payslips, bank statement, etc..yung SS lang ang hinihingi ni vetassess from me nothing more.

Now my question is, having considered, does that mean that i would no longer be attracted or be given a negative outcome once they received the SS of each employer that i listed on the application (only 4 employers). What if i cannot provide 4 SS but like only one or two SS lang, would that suffice or satisfy vetassess? They'd see somehow that my payslips/bank statement are showing decent salary naman po like i was being paid around $8100 usd (25,000-30,000 dirhams a month) for the past 2 years of my employment. Having this, how huge is my chance in getting a positive outcome? Is it also an influencing factor in getting attraction to positive outcome like one is drawing a "wow" compensation package? Hi! question po lalo na sa mga Interior Designer dito, nag pa assess ako sa Veta then after almost 1 1/2 months nag email sila na to continue my assessment kailangan ko pa mag pasa ng supporting documents.

Background.....Architect po ako pero sa ID na team napunta. Same company for the past 10 years. pero i started as an architectural assistant, then architectural coordinator, then naging senior interior designer and currently as an Associate.
Nasa statement of service ko (coe) yung 4 na designation ko with job scope na mostly is interior job naman.

Nakalagay ‘evidence of tasks performed’ tas sa status ‘insufficient’

Then eto naka comment:
‘Please provide a sample of drawing packages across all 4 designations’.

Does it mean i need to send my portfolio? Medyo nakakalito lang kc bakit ‘drawing packages across 4 designation’ yung naka lagay...Meron po bang may ganitong case dito?

@arkitekmai Hi po...it looks like same po tayo ng case..i'm an architect din po and same doc hinanap sakn (statement of service) at yung status na evidence of task performed is insufficient nakalagay pero iba lang yung comments/requirements pinapafulfill.

Check my signature to see my timeline. I'm curious bat ganun po katagal 1 1/2months ngrevert c vetassess sa inyo po. Was it not a priority full skill assessment services ang binayaran ninyo yung 1480 aud po? Kasi sakn yan po ang binayad ko at mabilis naman bumalik sa akin c vetassess after i completed the uploading of docs and submitted.

Now recently, vetassess emailed me reminding me to complete the outstanding SS doc otherwise paghindi ko daw nasubmit within 2 business days, mawawala daw yung priority service na binayad ko pero irerefund daw nila back to my bank account yung fee. So I replied to vetassess saying na i already made contact to my employers at hindi lahat mkkakapgbigay ng SS doc. Nagreply naman c vetassess na they will keep my case open hanggang sa maisubmit yung outstanding SS doc. So far hanggang dyan pa lang po ang progress ng vetassess application ko.

Hi!.as far as i know pwede po magapply ng panibagong application for new nominated occupation pero upon 6 months pa po from the date of receipt given nung negative outcome dun sa previous or recent nominated occupation na pina assess nyo po. Panibagong payment din po yan for every unique nominated occupation na ipapaassess ky vetassess. Hope you don't mind, magkano po binayaran nyo ky vetassess for the assessment?

hi! thank you sa reply. i actually have a positive assessment sa first assessment ko last august kaya lang i wanted to try to be assessed under a different occupation para mas okay yung chances ko sa state na target ko..

i paid AUD968, pero dahil sa conversion, i was charged sa card ko dito sa Singapore ng SGD960.31, that is about 37k pesos.

@..arki_ Yan bang aud968 binayaran mo was it the priority service po ba? Yung sakn medyo mahal kasi wala akong nakitang ibang option na maclick for payment kundi yung 1480 aud lang which is the priority full skill assessment. Gaano ba katagal nagcontact sayo c vetassess sayo upon your payment & submission nung previous application mo po?

@Pinoy_Imphotep hindi na ko nag priority although meron option dito, pero mahal eh so i opted for the cheaper one.

yung first assessment ko, in a month meron ng reply.
i lodged it on aug 21 tapos got the outcome letter- september 26.

@..arki_ ah mabilis pa rin pala kahit hindi hindi priority kung ganun in a month meron ng reply. Hindi kana hinanapan ng mga outstanding docs dun sa previous application mo? ang swerte naman nakapositive outcome kana po. So nakarecieve kana po ng ITA?

@Pinoy_Imphotep hindi pa e.. yun nga ang prob ko, i already have a positive assessment sa vetassess and proficiency score sa english test yet walang state na open para sa occupation that i have applied for except Tasmania kaya try ko pa-assess ulit under another occupation na closely related naman to see if i can try another route. so hopefully in a month or two may kapuntahan naman sya.. *fingers crossed*

@..arki_ Ah ganun ba..gusto mo talaga State Sponsorship ang visa mo? ayaw mo ng skilled independent visa? try mo yung 312199 Architectural, Building and Surveying Technicians nec mas closely related yan sa bs-arch course at work experience ng mga architects na nasa design office or contracting ... I'm not sure lang din kung in demand ang occupation na yan ngayon sa au. Kasi yung sakn building inspector madami akong nakikitang job post kaya yun ang pina assess ko.. tapos in light pa yung task & duties nung occupation with my previous role/work experience ko sa dubai..so yun po. sana makakuha ako ng positive assessment. Planning to take the PTE kasi mababa ang ielts ko taken in dubai. Basta basta nlng ako ngbook ng schedule abrupt manner without any preparation or even practicing mock up. hehe

@Pinoy_Imphotep mostly drafting kasi ang scope ko since i started working kaya baka hindi ako qualified under 312199 if i will be basing on my COEs parang malabo sya ma-approve.. anyway, Good luck and God bless sa assessment natin.

also, nag self-practice ako using PTE GOLD channel sa youtube everyday for an hour pag weekdays tapos i take mock tests na available din sa youtube pag weekends, i did that for almost a month.

@arkitekmai based from experience at sa mga friends nmin na iba iba ung nging position at job scope nila, mas ngfocus sila sa iisang position lng.

Archi din kme preho magasawa pero ngfocus ung asawa ko sa ID. ung job description sa reference letters ako ngdraft based dn s contracts then kinausap nmin ung superiors ny dti. Pinirmahan nmn nl.

Same thing with our friends kht my ID experience cl s archl draftsman cl ngpasa nmn kc un ang open that time.

Sa asawa ko 9 years ung ncredit. Kaya sila nghingi ng iba png evidence syo kc ung inaapplyn mong occupation ngyn ung ibang work exp mo hnd same sa archl draftsman according to their job desc ng draftsman.

ang gsto kc nl kung ano ung nominated occupation mo un ung pupuntusan nl.

Hey guys, advice lang po. Graduate po ako ng BFA Industrial Design pero for the past 7 years Graphic Design yung job ko.

I’m thinking of having my skills assessed pero parang sure na na hindi “highly relevant” yung course ko sa nominated occupation ko. Pag ganun, babawasan nila ng 3 years yung 7 years na work experience ko and I’ll end up with 4 years of work experience. Sayang yung points for EOI. Eh di rin ako sure kung makakakuha ako ng “Superior” sa IELTS pang hatak ng points. If I go for it now, tancha ko mga 65pts makukuha ko for EOI. Eh based sa last invitation, 80 and above lang daw ata yung sinendan ng invitation.

My option is to wait until next year para madagdagan yung work exp ko. But since I’m going for 190 visa, baka biglang mag close yung nominated occupation ko pag nag wait ako ng matagal. Waaah!

Ano pong advice niyo? Sorry ang haba ng post.

Hi. Has anyone tried successfully na gumawa ng self-written Statutory Declaration for Certificate of Employment which was signed by a consul as witness in the Philippine Embassy (or notarized by a lawyer sa PH) submitted and accepted by Vetassess? The explanatory details kasi in Vetassess did not mention na hindi pwede ang self-written Statutory Declarations unlike sa ibang assessing bodies kaya I was wondering if this would be possible? Thanks.

@ga23 actually, it’s the other way around. VETASSESS requires self written stat Dec whist otter assessing authorities accept stat decs written by a third party. VETASSESS provides a template on their website, check it out.

@RheaMARN1171933 Thanks a lot for clearing this! It gave me hope! I emailed VETASSESS but they didn't give me a clear answer. I’m in the process of preparing for my documents for assessment and I’m having difficulty in getting COE from my current employer.

Hi @King Tim for 189, zero chance na most likely. You can try to apply for state sponsorship (190), I personally know a few wc only had 65 pts but got state sponsorship (so +5) then ultimately received ITA this year.

While waiting if state sponsorship is successful, try to improve your English score. Check PTE, andaming nakakuha ng superior english.

@RheaMARN1171933 just to update po...nag email ako sa kanila to clarify if portfolio ba yung needed. nag reply naman sila agad saying na drawing packages means proof or record of issued completed services. ibig sabihin kung ano inissue sa client or contractor etc. evidence siya talaga.

example is presentation slides, tender drawings set, authority submission set etc.. kc daw portfolio is just simple representation of one project, whereas packages is a whole.

tyinaga ko siyang gawan at hanapin per job designation...presentation slides submitted to client, ID tender drawings, concept slides etc..good thing for 10 years one company lang ako kaya na trace ko majority of projects i stated sa resume na sinubmit ko sa Veta to tally.

After i uploaded all my documents naka received ako ‘in progress’ na ulet yung application ko. And then finally after ilang months (either natapos na sila mag check ng super dami kong files or nag reset siya after i uploaded all required docs kaya tumagal) approved na siya....with 9.5 years.

So to all, tiyaga lang...at dasal!

@Pinoy_Imphotep hello po...tumagal siya kasi hindi priority yung assessment ko dahil previously nag pa priority nako for architectural draftsperson. hindi nga lang umabot sa NSW last year kaya i’m trying for Interior designer this time. may rule ang Veta na once lang pwede gamitin yung priority.

Though tumagal yung process dahil sa required evidence ng drawing packages per designation, swerte ako at naging positive yung outcome and i got the max number of years. kaya ngaun nag check nako paano sa canberra matrix at kung pasok ako dun..If not ready na sa July dun sa mga state na mag open.

Though tumagal yung process, swerte ako at naka positive siya with max years. Abang nako ngaun ng both Arki Draftsperson at ID....sana this July maraming state mag open

Mga maam/sir, just to confirm. Medyo na confuse lang ako. Pag outside Australia, exempted fr gst. Sa exemption from GST.
Tama ba. Kailangan ng Statuatory Declaration notarized?
