Hi! Magiinquire lang po please kung may kilala kayong Migration Agent in Melbourne for 186 Visa? Nirequire po yung husband ko ng company nila na maghanap ng agent for this. Please help me and refer someone kung may kilala kayo. Thank you so much.

The first one is the nomination part and this is done by the employer... the second is the visa application part to be done by you or your agent.

Hello Po, tanong ko Lang Po Sana Kung kailan Po Kaya kami pwedeng mag apply Ng 186 employer nomination TRS.
February 20,2018 Po naglodge ung agent Ng 457 visa ( employer nomination done na Po)
.March 5 ,2018 nag start Po ako magwork SA employer ko.
October 2018 457 visa granted Po till October 2022.
By April 2020 pwede na Po ba akong mag aaply Ng 186 visa. ?
( Experienced ko Po Kasi SA unang employer ko
March 2014 457 granted at start Ng work
2016 family follow
July 2017 applied for 187 RSMS sinabay Po Ng agent Ang employer nomination at visa application
February 2018 nomination refused due to adverse information.
Walang ginawa si agent.. non refundable Ang $11,700 kasama na Po agent fee, family of 4.
March 2018 end ng visa..28dys remaining,advice Ng mga Migration agent hanap Ng ibang employer.
Napakabuti Ng Panginoon 10dys bago mag end Ang visa ko nakahanap ako Ng napakabait Na employer. Willing syang mag sponsor sakin ngayun Ng PR.
Kailan Po Kaya pwede Ng Ang start Yung employer nomination ???

@tmanito After 1 year I was nominated for the 186 Direct Entry... 3 kasi ang possible pathway gamit ang 186 visa stream:

Direct Entry:

you must be nominated by an Australian employer
your occupation must be on the relevant list of eligible skilled occupations.
you must have at least Competent English

Temporary Resident Transition

You must hold a 457, TSS or related bridging visa A, B or C
Usually, you must have worked for your employer full-time for at least three years
You must be nominated by your employer

Labour agreement stream

The employer must have a labour agreement

I'm not sure when the 186 Direct Entry scheme was first implemented.

There is prevalent misconception that visa 186 requires a 3-year waiting period. I tried to point it out to other people but they simply ignored my message (we are all just trying to help and pay it forward). If someone managed to reach this website, I think anyone can google the visa 186 pathways too. At anytime, depending on the employer, anyone can be nominated for Direct Entry.

One thing I like in AU govt agencies is that the information you need is readily available and clearly explained in their websites.

Hi all, just wondering if this requirement ,** have at least 3 years relevant work experience unless you are exempt**for 186 direct entry stream applies for experience outside of AUS (recognized by assessing body) or regardless if outside/inside AUS . Thanks!

May 2 years work experience(onshore) and 6 years (overseas), may skills assessment and met the english requirement. Ask ko lang po kc inassess lang ng CPA Australia ung experience ko dito sa Australia at nde po ung overseas. Pwde ko po ba isama ung overseas experience para mapunuan ung 3 years work exp na requirement? Pwde din po pa share ng process kung panu pero nabasa ko na din ung sa DHA website. Good luck. Malapit na yan. Malamang yung mga kasabayan natin na 186 dati papuntang citizenship na rin ngayon.

Hi, I took DE path as well. During lodgement I only have 1 year work experience in Au and 7 years experience overseas. Three years relevant work experience is both onshore and offshore.

@liza01 Bakit hindi inassess ng CPA AU yun work mo overseas? Hindi ba related yun work experience mo overseas sa current work mo? I'm just curious since maraming mga offshore na nagpapa assess sa CPA AU.

According sa CPA Australia ung degree ko na natapos sa Pilipinas ay diploma ang equivalent sa Australian qualification kaya nde nila pwede e-assess ung overseas experience ko kahit accounting related job ung work ko sa atin. Na consider lang nila ung work ko dito after ko matapos ung degree dito sa Australia. Nag try ako mag appeal nde talaga sayang nga eh.

Advance Diploma lang din ang na assess sakin because of the school - section 3 category. They took out 6 years from my experience. So during my application, I have 2 years relevant experience overseas and 1 year in AU, meeting the 3 years requirement ni DoHA

Hi! According sa CPA Australia ung degree ko na natapos sa Pilipinas ay diploma ang equivalent sa Australian qualification kaya nde nila pwede e-assess ung overseas experience ko kahit accounting related job ung work ko sa atin. Na consider lang nila ung work ko dito after ko matapos ung degree dito sa Australia. Nag try ako mag appeal nde talaga sayang nga eh.

It would be best to consult a migration agent. In IT (see sample from aanover May 2012), it specifically states na after a certain date lang pwede mag claim ng experience.

Been reading the whole thread coz i’m planning to lodge a 186 DE pathway, willing si employer mag sponsor for any visa, so i’m on the process of finding a visa pathway thats right for me before my 457 expires.. im on a 457 since Sept 2018 but 2 yrs lang na grant sakin so basically next July 2020 mag expire na visa ko..So these are my question po:

Tama po ba pwede ako sa visa 186 DE pathway?kahit di pa ako nag 2yrs sa employer?(base sa mga nabasa ko pwede daw?)
What does this mean?

1.) Yes if you satisfy the following;

you must be nominated by an Australian employer
your occupation must be on the relevant list of eligible skilled occupations.
have at least 3 years relevant work experience, unless you are exempt
have a positive skills assessment, unless you are exempt
you must have at least Competent English

2.) Under anong ANZSCO CODE ba yung skills assessment mo? Use this link and search for your code to see if you can apply for 186 ENS.

1. Yes, anyone is eligible for 186 DE. Walang dependency kung gano ka na katagal employed. Yun 3 years req't is for TRT stream. Sa ibang forums, meron ibang naiisponsor from offshore via 186 DE na hindi dumaan ng 457/482 visa.
2. As long as nasa list yun job code mo, pwede ka magpa sponsor. Wala naman sinasabi tungkol sa STSOL at MLTSSL sa 186. It's better to consult with another agent. May skills assessment and 3 years experience ka na? That's one of the key requirements.
