VETASSESS question

Good day sa lahat.. bago lang po ako dito. Tanong ko lang po about sa duration ng vetasses. First class welder po ang assessment sakin. Ngayon po last January 23, 2019 na technical interview ako via Skype. Until now wala pang result ang assessment 3 months na. Ganun po b katagal ang assessment? Salamat sa sasagot.

Nominated occupation: 232412 Illustrator

Employment Experience: Graphic Designer in advertising agency (4 yrs) > Art Director in advertising agency (2 yrs) > Art Director in multimedia company (4 yrs)

Basically po ang concern ko is yung first 6 years ng career ko is focused in advertising (billboards, print ads, commercials, campaigns) tapos yung current job ko ngayon is more on multimedia (meaning illustration, animation, mascots, games). Kasama din naman sa tasks ko yung pagillustrate during those advertising years.

• Bibilangin kaya ng VETASSESS yung exp ko sa advertising?
• Another thing, is Art Director considered a managerial position sa VETASSESS?

Hi Aloe, no. I have the same occupation like u. Before my illustrator job, i was an interior designer /architect sa company sa pinas. And hindi nila binilang ung job ko na un. I havr a total of 6 years as an illustrator herr in sg. Kaso 3 years lang ang binilang. Dineduct ung first 3 years ko.

Hi @SLAM, nacheck mo ba yung Job Description ng MICROBIOLOGIST? Yung nasa Detailed Job Description mo dapat magmatch sa ANZSCO. Kasi dito sa atin, yung Microbiologist nagtetest lang for Micro ng product. Baka hindi satisfied si Vetassess. Eto dapat yung job na ginagawa mo para maclaim mo yung Microbiologist na occupation:

Tasks

We can't say. Their decisions aren't based from each jobs scope, course relation to the assessing occupation and school.

Wait tayo baka mayroon similar situation as yours.

Yep, this is the best thing to do. Find an Anzsco code that's related to your occupation, not necessarily a "microbiologist", baka merong code na related sa microbiology for general science and agriculture, like what was mentioned in the result.

Hello friends! Just a quick question, ano ang chances if my highest educational attainment is college undergrad (finished 2nd year of a 4-yr course), pero I have been working in the BPO for the past 12 years (6 companies; average tenure: 18mos). Started as an agent pero holding a managerial position now for 2 years.

Background: Call or Contact Centre Supervisor / Manager is a listed occupation eligible for 494 regional-employer-sponsored visa and I'm planning to have my qualifications assessed by Vetassess.

Question: Required ba na degree holder ka kapag nagpa assess ka ng qualifications mo sa Vetassess?

Any similar situations you or somebody you know may have experienced? Or perhaps a much better option than this route? Maraming Salamat po sa magse-share ng thoughts and experience nila. God Bless!

I got positive result na just now pa lang hehe.. Submitted to vetassess last sept 4.

If nagpapaassess ka, ur work experience should be related to your occupation being assess. Not necessarily related yung school course mo.

Question lang po, pwede ba ako mag submit ng 2 vetassess application at the same time? I am planning kasi to submit assessment application for Architectural Draftsperson and Civil Engineering Draftsperson, though my work experience & study leans more towards Arch'l Draft kaso parang mas madami visa options sa CE Draft so i'm considering the latter. Masisilip kaya nila yan na I have ask them to assess two diff occupation?I'm currently on a 457 visa which will expire soon.

Any one can point me to the thread which have the same case/occupation as mine? Appreciate your help Salamat po.

Do you really need it to be at the same time? Try doing the Architectural drftperson first if u think its more of ur job. Kasi even madaming opportunities sa civil if its not ur job scope it will never get positive results for u. Try to submit one at a time. If its negative then try civil. Cheers!

Ngayon kasi kelangan ko mag reapply for a new visa and my employer can only sponsor me for another working visa through Archi Draft occupation (which is kelangan din ng skills assessment for visa 482, 494). More than a yr pa lang ako sa employer ko.
Personally, gusto ko na sana PR visa na which is makaka apply lang ako ng skilled independent visa 189 if I use Civil Draft as my nominated occupation without leaving my current employer.
Thank you sa suggestion kelangan ko to pag isipan before the holidays haha

Ask ko lang po if meron nba dito mga QS or Civi Engrs na nagpa assess sa VETASSESS LIKE (construction estimator, civil engineering technician)?

In addition, pagka na assess kba sa mga nominated occupations as stated above, kelangan ba ung work mo ay same pagdating sa OZ?

Any inputs and insights will be highly appreciated.

What to do if negative outcome sa assessment??

Can someone help me. Nag apply ako for corp svc mgr unfortunately negative outcome. Baka mali kase ang skills na pina assess ko. Sa bank po ko nag work sa branch for 13 years.

Baka may same experience po dyan. Pa share naman po experience. Thank you.

I have two negative outcomes. After the 2nd sinabi na sakin finally ng Vetassess kung anu yung real occupation ko na ipapaassess. Its really on your job scope. Check all the occupation na related sa corp svc manager. Or baka hindi ka manager baka ung mas mababang occupation niyan. Good luck

I email vetassess asking if they can help me point out kung anong skills ba ang suitable sakin. Waiting for their favorable response.
