Try to search for "architectural draftsperson" sa anzsco kung anung state open.

Hi Guys,

I've been reading lots of discussions in this forum. Napaka informative po, lalo na sa mga baguhan about applying for visas. Although I can Google everything naman, I still have some few questions about visa 491. Eto po isa sa choice ko besides 482. I just want some tips and answers dito sa ating co pinoyauers since na dami niyo na experiences about applying:

1) How does the Skilled Work Regional Visa work in terms of Sponsorship? (Visa 491)Panu po ba ang best move para ma nominate? Should I just wait for the Immigration site or should I send applications state by state?
2) My cut off po ba ang applications for visa 491? Kasi may nabasa akong mga opening dates?
3)Should I just wait until next year para mag apply ? BTW I'm still gathering my documents, I just need an IELTS examination and funds.hehehe
4)Which state ang pinaka magandang i suggest niyo po in case of Visa 491?Depende po ba sa Job?
5)Do I need a job offer first for applying Visa 491? BTW offshore po ako, nasa pinas pa po

Gusto ko lang po mag ready habang naka Quarantine pa at kung anu muna ang pwede ma asikaso.

Ask ko lang po dito. Napansin ko po na hindi nauupdate ng australian immigration ang results ng invitation rounds since may 2020. Wala pa rin po akong nakikitang news about their migration targets for the next fiscal year.

San po kayo kumukuha ng news?

Wala papong updates. Dahil sa Covid. Hopefully by July may news na.

Hi. You may want to check the thread "Architect - Applying as Architectural Draftsperson".

Unfortunately, it's well known that PH architects have trouble getting their degree assessed positively as equivalent in AU if you want to nominate the occupation "Architect". Your chances go up if your husband has a Master's Degree in Architecture (not other master's). But if you still want to risk it, the assessing authority for Architect nominated occupation is AACA, they will only assess your husband's degree, not his experience. So far wala pang success story from Pinoy architects who only have Bachelor degree here in PH. But AACA insists that it's case-to-case basis - they are not explicitly saying you would not pass the assessment without this or that. More detailed info in their website.

So most of us Architect degree holder in PH just go with Architectural Draftsperson nomination. It is assessed by Vetassess. If your husband's school is in the Section 1 category, Vetassess will positively assess the degree as equivalent Bachelor degree and you can still claim the 15 points for education. If not in Section 1 category, it will still be positively assessed at least as a Diploma degree (10 points). If the experience is matched with the ANZSCO description, both cases will yield an overall positive outcome since Architectural Draftsperson is a Diploma Degree only as per Vetassess' criteria.

The only catch is your husband's nominated occupation is "Architectural Draftsperson", it's not eligible for 189, and there is more competition. Architect in 189 gets invited for EOI as low as 70 points in the past because there are very few of them. Good luck!

nag Master of Electrial Engg ako sa Western Sydney Uni, nung kaka dating ko dito 60pts pa lang ang electrical, nung naggraduate ako 75pts na. Kaso na late ako mag professional yr, dami ko gastos. 80pts lang ako in total, d ko pa makuha PTE na superior. nka ilan take ako. Sumuko na ako, buti na lang dumating asawa ko dito from Saudi with 6yrs exp, nag bridging program siya at nag exam PTE at NAATI at sa awa ng dios naipasa niya. nag lodge kami EOI June 10 with 90pts, June 11 invited na siya agad. Sobrang hirap mag PR naun kung d mo makukuha ang points. Ang magic points naun is 90pts tlga e. Sigurado pag 90pts ka ma iinvite ka except accounting.

Magtatanung lang po about sa VISA 491, hanggat wala pong opening na work dun sa State na target mo, di ka pwede ma nominate? or pwede ka ma nominate ng state, as long as you satisfied their criteria for future employment?

Tanung ko na din po, may chance po kaya na ma nominate ka ng state, kahit di ka nag aaply sa mga Websites ng mga State? Kasi yung target occupation ko po is limited lang, nasa 3 states lang siya as of now, then medyo mahirap yung mga Requirements ng iba, this is for like:

South Australia, kelangan din ng up to 25kAUD, (I dont have that kind of money yet)

then sa NSW naman is kelangan if offshore ka, may immediate family ka? That is from what i've read

then sa Tasmania, kung wala naman daw sa HIGH DEMAND on the TSOL, you will not be assessed..

I'm about to give up na lng talaga....Sorry if I ask too many questions...pero salamat po sa mga responses niyo...sigh

Good day po!

I am currently a registered nurse here in Perth. We are holding a 485 visa with my family. I am just wondering if what is the best thing to choose with my ANMAC letter of determination ANZSCO Code either to Registered Nurse NEC or Registered Nurse Surgical or Paediatrics? Does specialisation matters in applying for 189 visa. I already have the RN Nec from ANMAC but I am thinking to change my ANZSCO code since my experience are in Surgical and Paediatrics if it will give an edge in the processing. For those who have knowledge or has the same situation, please help and enlighten me in deciding. Salamat po!

Lang, wag agad agad sumuko. Do further research about immigration to AU. May mga thread dito ang bawat state, use search button lang sa any topic you want.

yes surgical, pero d ko sigurado kung ganito for example, 1yr ka lang sa surgical at 4yrs ka sa paediatrics. d ko lam kung magiging surgical ka. Basta ang sabi ng anmac ang e coconsider lang nila na experience is last 5years ung more than 5 yrs na experience na surgical(kunware) magiging NEC na un automatic.

may matter ung specialisation sa nurse kasi kunware kakaonti ang paediatrics masmadali ka ma iinvite kasi onti lang un, pag NEC kunware madami ang NEC ang assessment mas madami ka kalaban pag kunwari need nila ang NEC. Although, mas priority nila tlga mas mataas na skill point.
