make sure pasok ka sa 50 people per flight ng airline mo kasi no more than 350 passengers ang allowed each day sa Sydney. last repat flight ng Manila to Sydney via PAL, 32 lng ang nakalipad, then 160 plus passngers ang naiwan.

Hello, nandito kami sa Brissy ngayon. We took the MNL -> HKG -> SYD route as well via Cathay. Pero ang rule, kung saang state yung first entry mo, dun ka magka-quarantine for 14 days. So quarantine at SYD. Then, tsaka ka nalang mag book ng domestic flight pa Brissy.

after ng quarantine ko, nagpunta agad ako sa services australia branch para ayusin ung medicare. mabilis lang. after ko mapasa ung forms, ininterview ako then nagprint ng letter indicating yung details and medicare number pero temporary lng yon while waiting sa medicare card (green). almost 2 weeks ko inantay ung card.

Don't waste your money by reserving a seat since the plane has a lot of vacant seats due to the limitation of 50 passengers per plane. I was literally sleeping like a baby on 4 seats - all mine.

If you think that you have excess baggage of 2 to 3 Kilos, don't worry and no need to pay extra for the extra baggage. They won't charge you for that since the flight is so empty.

No need to wash and clean your shoes, unless there's an obvious mud or clay on it.

Buy your duty-free stuff from your origin airport, Duty-Free here is closed, at least when we arrived. I was supposed to by something for my cousin to no avail.

Disembarkation is so quick since there are only 50 passengers. we got out of the airport in just 15 to 20 minutes. Don't forget to declare the stuff or goods that you need to declare too.

Find a seat that's close to the front seat of the bus or near to the door. You'll get out faster and check-in earlier than the rest.

happy to see mga ka batchmates ko na nangarag ngarag noon sa PTE, Skills Assessment, ITA at VISA Approval - at ngayon isa isa ng nag BM this year (yehey)

This is not the scenario we have expected - as in migrating alone is DIFFICULT as it is, pero mas may extra challenge tayo due to virus - pero Pinoys are RESILIENT!! kaya naten yan!

Wag mawalan ng pag asa sa paghahanap ng work, tuloy lang ang pag apply!

Special mention to sis @lecia for their BM this week!!! SIS this is it!!!

I think related to somehow sa BM.
Gusto ko po ang sana manghingi ng advice about pag transfer ng peso to a bank sa AU. Yun po kasi yung gagamitin namin habang naghahanap pa ng work.

May aadvice po ba kayo na way na secure and reasonable naman yung fees and exchange rate?

Secure way is to open a bank account via online of any bank in Oz. You can search po dito sa forum, alam ko may topic dito all about transferring funds from pinas to Oz.

NAB for example is free if your using POSB (Singapore) to transfer. Baka ang BDO jan pwede.

Hi guys, got my visa 189 last year and plano sana this year magmove sa Sydney after makaipon ng pangbaon. Currently based in SG. Kaso dahil sa covid napapaisip kung itutuloy ang move this year. Nanghinayang din sa addl cost $3k to enter AU and ang uncertainty kung ganu katagal makahanap ng bagong work. I'm in the IT industry. Nagpapasa na rin ng application sa SEEK and may gamit din akong AU number sa resume kso lahat ng tumawag pag sinabi na wala pa sa AU goodbye na hehehe. Ask sana ako ng advice kung worth to take the risk na ipush thru ang BM this year? Kamusta kaya ang job market for IT BA? Majority ng mga kakilala ko na napagtanungan feedback nila marami nawalan ng work:( Thank you in advance!

Depende yan sa inyo sir. Depende din sa baon niyong salapi. Depende din sa job market ng occupation niyo. While moving there could give you so much uncertainty, tapos gastos pa. Sa opinyon ko kung ako lang naman sir.. Ipupush ko this year. Kahit end of the year pa. Sabi niyo nga last year pa kayo naggrant. Sayang ang oras na sana andun na kayo nararansan niyo na ang fruit ng paghihirap niyo na mag migrate. Pero of course opinion ko lang naman. Kau parin magdedecide niyan sir.

Hello po sa inyo! May katanungan lang po regarding exemption on hotel quarantine charges if nagpurchased ng flight before 11:59pm 12 July 2020 AEST. Sa situation ko po kasi ngpabook ako ng May 11 for flight ng July 31 going to Adelaide pero unfortunately po cancelled so pinarebooked ko po ng earliest available date which is September 2 pero cancelled po ulit. So, ngdecide na lng po ako irefund at magchanged ng airline n bound to Sydney po. Ma-aapprove pa din po ba ung exemption sa new booking ko since may proof nman po na cancelled po mga previous bookings ko? Maraming salamat po. Stay safe and God bless!

Dev ako in Melbourne. It depends kung anong IT specialisation mo.

IT Security/DBA, mahirap makahanap ng work. May friend ako na hindi na nakahanap at nag support muna temporarily. Ako, I'm a dev. Madaling tawagan for interview, ang problema eh talagang gigisain ka. Make sure na marunong ka gumawa ng i-dedemo. So dapat marami kang baong sagot sa interviews. Also, I have 15 years experience in IT pero pinag test pa rin ako. Minsan pinag sit in pa to work half day to see how you handle pressure.

Wala pa sis e. Huhu kelan yung bahay niyo? Kami next year pa naman ung renewal kung sakali. Ung sa school lang tlaga kami mejo kinakabhan.

@zirko, nagemail na ako as consular sa manila auto response, nagbigay lang ng link for ticketing sites. Same for IED extension auto response din. I am thinking of refund sa cx or rebook in later date, also check other flight option baka deretso na sa Adelaide. Medyo pricey ...God luck to us all.

approved na medicare namin 3 days lang. i applied july 27. pero yung card after 3 weeks pa ma kuha.
bale, tumawag lang ak today just to follow-up. and nag verify lang sa akin yung taga medicare lang. binigyan kami ng 5 years expiry.

to summarize the process, i just did the following:
1. fill up medicare form
2. attached the form with your passport and visa grant docs and send email.

Subject should be , NEWENROLLMENT [Last name, First name]
tapos tumwag lang ako today to follow up. tapos yun, na kuha ko na medicare ID# namin.

tanong ko lang, isang form lang ba ginamit nyo sa wife mo?

Hindi po magkahiwalay kmi ng form kc hndi pa kmi married and during our time most offices and service centers are still closed so hindi na ko ngfollow up hahaha. Anyways, nagamit nmn na nmin un medicare so all is well nothing to rush. That's good po na 5yrs agd yun snio

just answered brainsap since ngspecify sya ng month of april application which pareho kami and hndi agd nareceive yun card.
