It’s not mandatory. If you decided not to do the the employment assessment, you will still prepare the usual requirements you would have submitted to EA but this time it would be for home affairs. Do make sure you comply with the immigration requirements on the employment evidences as it would be an expensive mistake if ever.

@RheaMARN1171933 thank you for your response. I looking for the list of employment evidences on the DHA, maybe you have the link for this? From previous pages, they mentioned that anything related to employment would be ok i.e COE, Tax return, etc.

Not sure about the website link, we just follow a standard form that works which we use for our clients when we lodge applications for them.

sa tingin ko naman basta kumpleto documents mo with regards to experience at relevant e credited yan. I'm just not sure if you can be credited on your BS if your school is not in Section 1. Pero kung may kakilala ka na same situation mo na yung school nila is nasa section 2 din and na-credit BS nila, baka nga medyo strict ngayon or depende sa assessor na humawak ng documents mo.

Meron pong provision si EA as per MSA na "if required" at kung saang lugar ka nag wowork as Engineer i aattached po xa sa application form. inuulit ko po if nsa abroad kayo at nag ta trabaho as engineer and have the countries Certification at proof n engineer kayo, pwede nyong gamitin ito in application for EA assessment kahit wla kayong PRC license sa pinas.
Nag wowork po ako ditto sa Saudi for 11+yrs at require nila ditto n member k ng SCE (Saudi Council for Engineers) to work as engineer. Certified po ako as Electrical Engineer ng SCE kasi Work permit nmin or Iqama is also Engineer.
Praise be to God.... To him be all the Glory....
Good luck po sa ating lahat….

i think ang option mo lang boss is to get a stat dec from your colleagues saying that you worked there. Everything should be in the EA manual.

Thanks sa reply sir. I have reviewed the manual (page 27, 4.5 important note) and it states that stat decs and affidavits are will not be accepted as primary or secondary documents.

Hello, everyone.
I had a positive outcome for my MSA and RSEA already.
My partner is also of the same skillset as with me, Civil Engineer.
I just want to know, kailangan din ba niya magpaassess ng MSA if di naman siya yung primary applicant for visa 190?
Our plan kasi is ako ang magapply for EOI ng visa 190, then secondary ko siya. Pero to get the full point, dapat may competent Enlish siya and same skill as mine.
Pwede ba na hindi na siya magpaassess sa EA and just prove yung skill niya sa Home Affairs through diploma, certificates, prc license, and certificate of employments?

Hi everyone! Hope all is well. I would like to seek advice po sana regarding my case:
I am B.S. Chem Eng graduate from a recognized university. I have 2y 10mos experience from 1st job working as control systems engineer. I have 5y 11mos experience from 2nd job working as pipeline engineer. Both companies are in Oil and Gas industry and nature of work are in design and engineering. But I work for each company I worked under different departments/roles lang. I initially applied for Professional Civil Engineer assessment to EA, and got cleared as Engineering Technologist (MSA only and not RSEA). All my 3 CE's came from my 2nd job.
My understanding is that in my case, EA assessed me as Engineering Technologist base on my qualifications only but it will still be Dept of Immi who will assess how many years from my work experience will be credited, is that correct?
So given point 2 and my nominated occupation, is it possible to include my first job when I claim points in EOI? Even though I did not used it for CDR? Base on the booklet, the Engineering technologist (233914) seem to be a generalist occupation i.e. unlike Professional Engineers who have specific job descriptions on specific fields. Even if I had different department/role but same nature of project and industry, as long as I can provide COE, pay slip, SSS proofs etc.. Can it still be considered relevant and be used to claim points?
If ever it will add 5 more points since my total experience will be 8y already. That is why I am exploring this possibility.
Thanks for anyone who can share their thoughts about this!

Hi Bro, enable for you to claim another 5 points, you spouse must have positive skill assessment. Kung hindi po sya naassess ng relevant authority you can’t claim 5 points for skill. If yung spouse nyo ay hnd mag papaassess, only 5 points lang ang makukuha nyo pra sa criteria nya.
Yung RSEA no need na for her, pero kung sayo ikaw main applicant, I recommend na mag avail ka ng RSEA, for your peace of mind narin pero sa huli ay ang DHA parin ang mag dedecide nyan sa years of experience mo kung relevant ba ito.
