Online na po ang NAATI. I haven't seen any options to take it in person in Australia na since the pandemic.

    Hello po. Good evening.
    Ask ko lang.
Once naka lodge na ba ung EOI for example 2 months, then may gusto ka i-add additional points like NAATI or higher english exam score. Back to zero ba ulit ung pagiintay sa EOI? Thanks po.

Think of it as interpreter ang role mo. Need maintindihan ng both parties ang isa't isa through you. So yung English itranslate mo sa Filipino, yung Filipino ieenglish mo.

Hello po! Ask ko lang if I need to answer immediately after the beep and the recording takes place? Or is there an allowable time where I can compose and think for a bit. Thank you po.

Ang nalala ko around 3 seconds after the beep yung reasonable time for you to translate.

We highly recommend @MumVeng as a mentor para sure na pasado kayo sa exam na 'to. 🙂👍

Kamusta po mga Naati Exam takers?

Test taker here last September 20, 2022.

God is so good! During the day, I had multiple tech issues (mabagal na yung laptop ko and the tech support and I thought it was the internet). Thank God my housemate came and lent me her laptop 😭

    Overall Mark: 78.5/90

    TIPS PRE-EXAM:
    - Like what many here already recommended, avail Ms Venie’s 10-day crash course. I had less than 2 weeks preparation pero yung resources na mayroon si Ms Venie atsaka yung one-on-one coaching niya ay on point. Yung points na binigay niya sakin during the mock tests are approx. the same scores I got during the actual test.
    - Practice at least 2 dialogues per day, as per Ms. Venie’s crash course
    - Practice numbers and dates in Tagalog dahil madalas talaga lumabas
    - Wag masyado i-pressure sarili to translate everything to Tagalog. Try to be as natural as you can, and yung ibang terms talaga mahirap i-translate sa literal na tagalog within a few seconds such as “Chief of Justice” ganon.

    TIPS DURING EXAM:
I don’t want anyone to feel the pressure I felt noong nagka-tech difficulties ako kaya here are tips I can give :((

    • Make sure you have a headphone on with mic! I brought one sa JB Hi-fi 3 years ago for PTE practice and till now goods pa siya, it was around $60.
    • Make sure you have really good internet AND a good device. For me, the tech team and I thought it was the internet that was the issue pero turns out, my laptop pala :(( Make sure you got back-up just in case!
    • You do it your own pace, may 30 minutes ka to finish the exam. Pwede huminga muna bago the next one.
    • Keep plenty of papers with you (around 5) and an extra pen just in case!
    • Write only the keywords and try closing your eyes while listening para mas maintindihan mabuti
    • You can use one repeat per dialogue (hearing the dialogue again) without any penalties kaya worth it talaga kung gagamitin lalo na sa mahahabang parts like addresses, etc.
    • Look at the wavelength. Kapag mas mahaba yung dialogue, mas maraming wavelength.
    • Write your notes vertically para organised tignan at fold your bond paper into two. Draw out a line to separate each dialogue. (which personally helped me)

    Scenarios during my exam:

1st Scenario - A Filipina woman is talking to a tribunal officer in regards to making an appeal for her mother whose visa got rejected. The Filipina is explaining that there is no one else to take care of her mother so it would be good if she were to be granted her visa.

2nd Scenario - A Filipino father is talking to a staff in daycare, enquiring about the daycare and the process of how to enroll his 3-year-old son.

Tricky vocabulary/parts I found during my exam:
    - Crafting, storytelling, painting
    - Quiet time, play time
    - Remaining Relative Visa
    - Stating number, full name and address (Had to use repeat this time kasi super fast yung dialogue!)
    - Tribunal Independent Department
    - Labing anim at pitong gulang

Yung resources niya lang po + one-on-one coaching niya ginamit ko, nothing else, which proves how good she is. 🙏💗

Just received my NAATI results! Hehe. Passed at 79/90 (39.5, 39.5). Grace lang ni Lord since I just had less than 2 weeks to review. Just finished the playlist on youtube kahit nakakastress yung tagalog speaker. All Glory to God!
