My friend already paid for one but decided not to push through with it since meron na po siyang positive assessment from ACS. Selling for a lower price po.

pwede po ba gamitin sa CEs yung projects sa university during bachelor's and master's if walang experience that will closely demonstrate the competencies of the occupation? Thank you! If yes, need pa ba ng reference letter yun from the school/professor?

Position, company, period of employment, and project name lang ang nakalagay.

    Thank you po sa sasagot.

Hi! For CDR, need mo yung detailed reference letter ng companies to where you based your career episodes. For RSEA, required yung detailed reference letter of ALL companies to where you wish to claim points for relevant experience.

Based on my experience, I requested for COE with pay rate from HR and I made my own "detailed reference letter with duties & responsibilities" letter and have it reviewed & signed by my superior/ former senior colleague.

hello @risukukeito yung detailed reference letter with duties and responsibilities letter na ginawa mo and signed by your superior/ former senior colleague, was it in company letterhead or not? If not, were there other documents you provided? notatized? or stat dec?

Hi @Yellow, it’s in company letterhead, hiningi ko din sa HR. Then no need for notarization, but make sure na aligned siya sa requirements indicated in MSA booklet (March 2020) page 28.

For my reference letter naman signed by my former senior colleague since ‘di na din siya connected sa company, I attached his passport copy (signed by him) + COE niya as strong evidence na he worked in the same company as I am.

Ayaw ko sana kasi mag request from HR or sa manager ko nito since ayaw ko idisclose sa kanila. But i’m thinking na gagawa ako ng letter then ipa sign siya sa senior colleague ko but hindi siya in company letterhead.

For my previous company, yes in company letterhead din siya and HR provided it naman and I got their permission since hindi sila nagpprovide ng duties & responsibilities letter.

For my current company naman since preferred ko din na ‘wag idisclose sa kanila yung plan ko, I just gave a viable & realistic excuse (since personally, I believe this is a much easier approach) to our HR & superior, then inacknowledge naman nila at nagsign agad superior ko.

If you plan to have it signed by your senior colleague, kahit yung COE with pay rate & working hours na lang ipagawa mo sa HR using your company’s letterhead. For the duties & responsibilities letter naman, kahit wala ng company letterhead but I suggest na magattach ka din ng proof of employment & identification din ng senior colleague mo.

Hello!

Nagwork ako sa isang company nung Feb2022-Oct2022 (contract of service), so wala ako govt contributions mula sa company na to.

What does contract of service mean? Based from the limited info you provided, it looks like you worked not as employee for that company but as a contractor which means you’re classified as self employed

Of course I would still write my own CDR since no one really knows what I actually do except myself. Hiring a CDR writer for proofreading purposes po to help me explain, describe and expound what I'm doing in formal words and chronological manner. That's the work of CDR writer. Not necessarily to write the whole CDR.

Engineers are technical workers po, but not all have the talent in writing... specially if it is not written in our native tounge. I know what words to use but I strongly feel that there are better ways to describe what I am doing.

After po dumaan kay CDR writer, syempre i-rereview ko po ulet if ok na po siya (and hopefully learn how to write better along the way). Magkakaron pa po ng discussion between me and the CDR writer para mas mapolish yung CDR before submitting for assessment.

Which should you choose on the EOI window?

    Is it:

“other Qualifications or award recognised by assessing Aurhority “ or “Bachelors Degree in science

My friend already paid for one but decided not to push through with it since meron na po siyang positive assessment from ACS. Selling for a lower price po.

I wouldn’t recommend hiring someone to write your CDR….be very careful.

    +10000000 infinity and beyond! LOL

And as a professional and board passer at that, why would one do that, right??? It's like letting someone else take over their own life. It's silly.

It's ok for someone close to copyread the text. But, to write it? BIG NO. One must own their experience and qualifications and be able to communicate it the best way they can. :)

All I can say is that all my engineer clients wrote there CDR’s by themselves…from the over 10 years experience I’ve been working in this industry, to this date, we’ve not had any negative outcome and all clients managed to write their CDR’s without resorting to any help. Basically if engineers managed to get a degree, they can manage to write their own CDR….if that makes sense.

If one wants to pay and hire someone then that’s their own risk. EA is very strict about these things and if they suspect the applicant has not written the submission, they wouldn’t hesitate to question the applicant. Hence the reason why no MARA agents will ever encourage anyone from using a third party provider.

Good day! Thank you

Anything na screenshot from other sources maglagay po kayo ng reference kung saan nakuha para hindi maconsider na plagiarism.

Hi, I just got a request for information from EA today. They wanted the complete reference letter (with duties pay rate etc), for my current employer.

In my original application for MSA, I submitted the job offer (with pay rate) with job descriptions (including more than 5 tasks). I thought those are acceptable primary documents on top of the "plain" COE.

I'm a little scared to ask my HR for the detailed letter.
Can I just explain that i already submitted the JO and JD and that they should recheck it? Or should I ask my HR? I asked my senior coworker and he doesn't want to write anything in the company letter head.

I only have one chance to do this, so I want to ask for input from here. Thanks!

Better comply on the EA standard request , it should be submitted in their format at the first instance . With regards to your HR , the request depends on your message and persuasion ,no one can stop you from chasing your dreams and they can’t dismiss you with just one letter. Try it ,mostly our fears are superficial. You can make it! If that does not work ,speak to your line managers to convince your HR ,is a matter of influence and persuasion ,hope it helps!
