How did you guys reply to the request for information?
I was given the option between Prof E and Engineering Technologist, sa text box ko lang ba ilalagay yung sagot or need pa ng attachment? THANKS!

Lagay ko lang ba "I choose option A, final answer." ahahaha

hindi n ba kayo pinag re write ng CE nio to be considered PE or napasa na yung other CE episodes prior as above na follow up question? Go na sa Professional mode pag ganyang tanong na lang haha

Hindi na. I expected this naman. My degree is slightly different from my experience, I chose to apply based sa degree ko kasi I dont want them to ask for additional diploma. Luckily they didn't ask for a different degree. I also worded my CDR to really come back to skills I learned in college para hindi na sila mag-request for new diploma, or new CEs. Luckily I got the best possible outcome.

Ang tanong ko lang ay paano kayo nag reply? Anybody else were were asked for additional info, text lang ba jan sa text box or formal letter attached as pdf? merong option to attach eh. haha, am I overthinking this? salamat.

I would like to ask for your help sana sa situation ko. I'm an electrical engineer with 8 years of experience as a building/facilities engineer. Magpapa-assess sana ako sa Engineers Australia as electrical engineer pero based from my experience, mas related ito sa Facilities manager ng VETASSESS. Medyo torn ako on this part. Ano po ba mas OK or mas recommended? Thank you.

BTW, andito na ako sa Victoria with dependent visa. Gusto ko na sana gamitin ang professional background ko to get PR. Ngayon lang din kasi medyo nakakaluwag luwag. Work ko here is not related sa engg with work restriction pa kaya medyo struggle din. Salamat sa tutugon!

Pag pinapaasess po yung engineering degree ito ay sa EA ang jurisdiction , ang experience naman if sa EA or any assessing body it is up to you madali pag related yung both, optional lang naman ang magpa assess ng experience , you can also claim experience points directly to DHA . In your case , better to get both degree and experience assessed para may clarity.

If you want to try EA, study yung MSA booklet and look back sa experience mo kung meron kang mga pwedeng gawing career episodes. In my experience sa pag gawa ng CDR, una kong inaral yung Summary Statement, and for each item nag-isip ako ng mga experiences ko na applicable. Then I wrote my career episodes with those as the building blocks. Look at sample CDRs rin online, na pwedeng maging basis mo (but don't copy). If projects in college lang ang gagamitin, baka hanapan ka pa ng mga actual reports. This is why hassle ang EA if hindi mo maicoconnect yung experiences mo directly sa mga hinahanap nila.

Tingnan mo rin yung anzco code nung 2 options mo if nasa skilled list ba and kung ilang points ba required in the past invitation rounds.

Either way, positive assessment ang goal para sa PR. Hindi naman importante kung saan nagpa-asses kasi pagdating sa paghahanap ng trabaho, experience pa rin ang hahanapin ng employer.

Side note, if nasa Victoria ka na on a valid visa, you can try to look for jobs na related sa past experiences mo, there is a possibility na you can negotiate for a full working visa (na hindi dependent) kung talagang magustuhan ka nila.

Work experience not required. We’ve had clients who used their experience in university and got positive assessment.

Isang pdf file po yun contribution summary saka employment history. Tapos inattach ko same document for all employment history. Kasi makikita na don kung saan saan ka na employ.

The sections have bearing all the time, assessing authorities, universities in Australia, immigration, everything. The sections will identify how overseas qualifications are recognised in Australia. If not from section 1 then it’s not an Australian degree equivalent unless there’s PRC.

The country education profile is the absolute reference. Even the Australian immigration legislations refer to this. anything from other sources, consider it hearsay.

This is assessed by the department of education and training in Australia via the country education profile. All organisations/institutions/authorities refer to this document. Hence, the assessing authorities do not determine the Australian equivalence of any qualification. Even prior to submitting the skills assessment application, one will be able to know what the outcome letter will state about the AQF equivalence by just knowing which section the institution is under.

If an institution is not listed under section 1, PRC is required in order for the qualification to be recognised as equivalent to an AQF bachelors degree.

That’s a good guide but always double check if it’s current. If it’s not directly from CEP, there will always be a chance that it could be outdated. Unfortunately, the only way to access CEP is to pay a subscription to it. It’s worth paying for it for institutions, organisations, assessment authorities, MARA agents, etc. as it’s needed for work and will be fully utilised but not worth it for an individual.

This is the same thing as the information gathered from immigration website. Not everything there can be assumed as current. Hence we MARA agents always have to rely on our professional library as legislations and policies gathered from there will always be 100% current even before the immigration website is updated.

Bottom line is, of course it’s given individuals have limited resources to rely on but just be very careful that the information gathered are current. No denying internet is very helpful but it can also be misleading and may be very costly in the end.

On my case, yes enough sya. Kase yan lang rin ang pinasa ko and no comment nmn from the assessor.
