Hi newbie here. We're still on the research stage and would like to ask ano po kaya best approach for my family's case.

Me (32) and the wife (33) are planning to migrate with our 6 mos. old child.

I am currently working as a registered chemist with 12 years experience. My wife graduated as a nurse. Her work experience as a nurse is mga 3 years lang siguro and lasted til 2016 lang. Since then she worked on a totally different field na. Her oldest experience would be more than 10 years na and based on initial research won't be assessed by ANMAC.

Our plan for now would be for me to apply as main applicant with my wife and child as dependents. Planning to apply for visas 189, 190 & 491. Depende kung saan papalarin. Pag pinalad nga and we got settled na in AU, she will study to become a RN.

Please advise kung ano best approach for our case. Thanks for taking the time to read this! Mabuhay!

Good approach to - seems like you researched well. Maximize mo pts mo on work exp and English exam kasi from the info you said, may deductions sa pts by your wife probably having no way to get a positive skills assessment, and your age crossing the threshold in a year or two.

Best of luck.

Hi everyone. Can somebody help me?
Our school is a recognized school in Australia under Section 1 but is not a PTC Accredited Engineering Program.

From what I understand, I need to submit my CDR. Can you clarify which assessment fee I should choose from the options available?

should i get the "competency demonstration report plus relevant skilled employment assessment"?

    Thank you so much!

I've been married po for more than 6 years now and I planned to declare my wife and my daughter as my dependents in my skilled visa application.

However, there was a clerical error in our marriage certificate (1 of the letter in my middle name ay namali) and the municipality kung saan po kami nag pakasal refused to process my petition to correct that error because the supporting document needed, which is my mother birth certificate ay may problema rin (May mali po isang letra sa apelyido ng nanay ko) which will take months to process.

    Question ko lang po:
How can I declare my wife as dependent in my visa application?
Can we still use our marriage certificate even if there's a clerical error in my middle name?

If she’s got an agent, she can discuss this matter with them. The professional advice > @greenlight_13 said:

I can’t offer much direct to your questions, but sharing my experience, although single applicant ako. When I started the process, my birth certificate was also incorrect (mali apelyido ng nanay ko) but my agent still used it early in the process, until visa lodgement. I petitioned to get it fixed nung nainvite lang ako (a mistake btw, should’ve done it sooner). I just got lucky na my birthplace’s registry office processed it in 2 months. Once I got the amended BC, we uploaded it sa visa application.

I guess my point is I think you will need to get it corrected anyway, so I suggest starting that process as soon as you can—if you weren’t planning on doing so already.

    Hi all.

Newbie here.. Closed ba currently ang 189 and 190 visa applications? If yes, kailan po to bubukas ulit? What are the things I should watch out for or tips when eyeing for these visa subclasses?

    Thank you!

It's open in the sense that you can submit an EOI. However, people are still waiting to get invited. It might be challenging to get invites for 190 given the reduced State allocations, so try to get the maximum points possible.

    Hi,

My wife and I are planning to migrate with our child.

During fillup for EOI, clarify ko lang to. Second question asks if accompanied by partner (this would be my wife). Third question asks if any family members are added (this would be our child). Fourth question on how many family members? Sakto na 2 ang sagot?

For this section naman, my wife is actually a nurse pero unqualified siya based on the requirements by the nursing assessing authority. Regarding the last question if client's partner have a nominated occupation, "No" dapat ang sagot, di ba?

    Naniniguro lang po. :D

    Thank you!

    Yes, 2 family members.
For the 2nd question, if she does not have a successful assessment, you would answer No.

Yes, "no" dapat! Lol.. Thank you po @irl031816 !

For the 2nd question, if she does not have a successful assessment, you would answer No.

    Thank you po @whimpee !

Hello, I would like to ask a question.

Should I upload along with the CDR the reports / documents from which I based my career episodes? I have them compiled just to make sure, but now that I reread the msa booklet, I'm not 100% sure anymore.

    Thank you very much.

You can opt not to take the English assessment pero unless graduate ka of a university from native English speaking countries, eventually the DHA will request for proof of your functional English. May nabasa ako na instances na CEMI was accepted for this requirement, pero the more advisable route is for you to sit on the English test as well. Having a competent score increases your husband's points as well so you're hitting two birds with one stone.

Hi po! I Just got my Skills assessment, and thankfully okay naman sya yay!

    1. I think I messed up sa paglalagay ng name ko sa Skills assessment, di ko kasi naisama yung Middle name ko huhu oks lang ba na merong middle name sa EOI pero wala sa Skills assessment?
    2. Step 4 - Are there any family members the client would like to include in a future application? I am unmarried po and will process alone for now, yung gf ko po kasi is wala pa syang documents whatsoever. Should I select no kahit may plans ako in the future to help my fam?
    3. Step 5 - State - I have read na dapat one EOI per state daw? Or is it okay to select multiple ones in this step? How do I submit multiple EOIs, do I just use the same emails? haha
    4. Step 9 - Work Exp - Currently employed pa ako, wala bang "present" dun sa Date To field? haha

    Hi,

3 - There are states po na hindi mag-iissue ng invitation kung may ibang state na nakalagay sa EOI. So ang ginagawa po ng iba is multiple EOIs for those states. Hindi ko kasi kabisado per state so I would suggest to read sa websites ng bawat state po ung specifics. Then about email, you may use same email per EOI. Actually either way pwede (same or different emails.

    Hello,

I'm a Software Engineer with 3 years experience and would like to seek your advice.

    • I'm 31 years old
    • Graduate of BSIT

I'm still undecided whether I will take a Student Pathway or wait until I gain 2 more years of experience to start applying for a skilled visa.

Also, worried because of my past tourist visa refusals from Canada and the USA.

    1 - USA
    2 - CANADA.

    https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/skilled-independent-189/points-tested#Eligibility

Does having a tourist visa refusal from the past won't make me eligible to apply for a skilled visa?

    Please enlighten me.

    Thank you

I-declare mo na pa rin. Kung new company na but same work/job function - you can also tag it as related.

    bali po ganito format?

old company - 1 year (approved ng acs) related
old company - remaining 2 months (not assessed ng ACS) related
new company - (not assessed ng ACS) related
