Essential Information for Submitting an EOI for NSW Nomination

For the purpose of NSW nomination, the date from which you can claim skilled employment is specific to state's criteria.

    CRITERIA FOR CLAIMING SKILLED EMPLOYMENT

For the purpose of NSW nomination, may only claim skilled employment from:

    1. Skills Assessor's Date: The date your skills assessor officially recognises you as skilled, provided this date is explicitly stated on your skills assessment.

    2. Qualifying Study Completion Date: If your skills assessor does not specify this date, you may only claim skilled employment from the date you completed your qualifying study.

If you've claimed employment in your EOI prior to meeting the above criteria, you are not eligible to accept an invitation to apply for NSW nomination.

Note: No exceptions will be made to this unique NSW requirement.

(This requirement i find restrictive,if you claim points under post degree qualification ,it affects your experience points while on post qualification completion pa lang)

Pwede pong paki expand? With simple samples if pwede po. TIA!

Should I remove the employment episodes prior ACS Met Date even it's tagged as not relevant to nominated anzsco? Para clean list lang sya, or okay na yun as long as I do not claim points for it and naka NO? Viniew ko yung EOI summary, so hindi naman pala nya sinasama. Proper tagging of relevance to anzsco to in accordance with skills assessment.

Ang higpit ah haha. Given the smaller allocations, gusto talaga nilang paliitin ang selection group.

If you get your Master’s degree for a certain skill , but it end up there is a long gap after your bachelor’s degree .

Your assessing body deemed you skilled for that particular skill at the date of post graduate completion , you can only claim employment experience points after your assessing body deemed skilled date.

Counting experience before your post graduate degree will not help you but lead to rejection.

For example if you have a Bachelor’s degree with Civil Engineering skill
And after 5 years you have completed
    Master degree in Structural Engineering

There are two occupational codes you can apply here , but will differ in employment skills points , you can be a Civil Engineer all throughout but can only claim Structural Engineer skills after your Masters degree completion date and or your Assessors deemed skilled date mo in this case by EA.

Oo mahigpit sila ,wala ito last year sa requirements ?
Regarding sa claims mo as long as it is deemed closely related sa nominated occupation then is ok naman basta backed by assessors .
Inaalis na nila sa kamay nila yung double work na magverify at mostly rely na sa assessing body i do think so.

#2 would only take effect when there is no deemed skilled date indicated in the skills assessment. That's how I interpreted it. And most assessing bodies naman they indicate the deemed skilled date. Meron siguro mangilan-ngilan na wala, kaya merong provision for that instance.

Be careful in analysing this as could mislead others on diy. To put clarity into this…nothing should change at all. You always have to claim work experience after the deemed date on your skills assessment outcome.

If no deemed date, then the experience after the qualification will be considered.

This is no different to what most of you are doing on EOI.

Thanks @RheaMARN1171933 for clarifying this , that i need to check the assessors deemed skilled date if it is declared and if not in the outcome letter , from there i can know already.

I put the query up to get us more informed ,sorry if it is messed up,as NSW is specific about this requirement more than DHA later on .

How about after passing nomination stage - can we still declare the deducted experiences if there are any by the assessors in this case to DHA?

The NSW info pertains to certain claims which is actually conflicting to the actual legislation - but NSW has their own prerogative when it comes to their criteria.

Unfortunately I’d rather not mention the legislation I’m referring to over the forum as it will create further confusion and questions which I won’t really have time to address on this forum.

Any news about NSW 190 and 491 invites?

Thank you so much po sa sasagot

Yes, as stated sa screenshot na sinend mo—see the 2nd section “For offshore candidates”. If you can, submit other proofs besides your bank statements. In my case, I submitted also receipts of online shopping/delivery (for example, screenshots ng Lazada purchases). :)

Good day to all, for NSW state nomination, we only have to apply on SkillSelect? No need to do a separate state nomination application like in VIC? ( like in Live in Melbourne website)

    Is this right?

    Thank you!
