how about for claiming work experience? vetassess only assessed the current job/work right? vetassess only assessed my current work as more than a year. But I have 2 more work experience closely related to my nominated position as a chemist. which is 2years and 4 mos (1st job) and 8 mos sa 2nd job. total is 5years but they just assessed my current work exp as more a year (1 1/2 years). Di ko pede iclaim n 5years?

ask ko lang kung pwede bang magpasa ng dalawang SS (like Vic and SA) at the same time? Tapos kung sino lang ang mauuna mag invite yun yung magiging sponsor ko? tama po ba or dapat isa isa lang? medyo naguguluhan pa rin ako.

pampabuhay loob dun sa mga applicants na nasama ang job code sa naka-reach na ng occupation list... i searched for reports that would somehow forecast the job codes that will still remain in SOL...

just a brief background.. from what I've read the SOL list is based on the report provided to them by AWPA (Australian Workforce and Productivity Agency). If you go to their site, it will tell you this information and that they based their report on the reports provided them by agencies and corporations that would demonstrate why a certain job code should be in the SOL list... Please see below link for a copy of the March 2012 report they provided to the Minister of Australia...

@cchamyl, ma'am makikisingit po sa usapan ninyo. Nakakalungkot po yung report kasi wala na po sa appendix 2 yung occupation ng hubby ko pati ng ate ko. Kung di po pala makahabol yung vetassess at ielts result parang nagsayang lang kami ng vetassess application fee

Sana naman hindi final na ganito din ang mismong CSOL sa july.

Meron po kayang nakaka-alam kung gaano ka-final yang Workforce Development Strategy na yan, based po sa mga previous years? Kung nung mga previous release nila ng report e talagang yun mismo ang nasa SOL/CSOL? Salamat po.

Hello @babybluelyn... pwede ka punta dun sa DIAC reports and sa AWPA.... meron nman cla list nung old reports nla...

wag ka masiraan ng loob... wait ka lang... dun naman sa skillselect wala namn announcement ng bagong list... and nakalagay pa dun na whatever ceiling has been reached will be refreshed on july 2013

Ma'am @cchamyl, maraming salamat po. Nga po pala, dun sa report sa skill select, 3,360 ang ceiling ng architectural draftsman, tapos 60 pa lng po ang invitation as of February 2013, kaya nga po nagtataka ako bakit nila tatanggalin ang occupation na ito kung di pa po nangangalahati man lang sa ceiling. Anyway po, maraming salamat talaga ulit.

Hi everyone,

Hope someone can help me clarify some confusion. I'm about to send my SS application for 190 in the DIAC website. However, the message I got before clicking the SUBMIT button is

The EOI for this subclass is able to be completed. The client's claims equal 55 points

As per the DIAC website, though, it says I need 60 points to be able to apply. My questions are below:

1. Do the 55 points I got from SS include the Skill Select nomination points?
2. If I only got 55 points, why is it still letting me continue with the application?
3. Does this mean I automatically get declined for SS?

Help please! Thank you!

Hi. Newbie po. Patulong naman sa case namin ng husband ko. Im a physician nd my husband is in agriculture. Tama po ba ako na mas mabilis kung apply kami as a family kung gawin ko husband ko na principal applicant as pig farmer?

And sa skillselect naman po tama po b pagkakaintindi ko na the process is like this... Ielts husband ko then pa asses sya sa vestasses then apply EOI dun sa skillselect? Pag po ba doon sa skillselect approval is automatic may employer na? Thank you.

yan sa pag assess ng DIAC?I've seen before na dapat at least 1 year ka sa current work mo for you to qualify the visa.Thank you

hello po sa lahat...newbie po sa Forum!

may kunting katanungan lang po na kumikiliti sa aking kaisipan, kapag ba yung occupation ko eh wala sa SOL pero nandun sa CSOL pwede pa ba ako magpa asses sa relevant authority? targeting either 189 or 190..
waiting for ielts results as of now...

@ynnozki : pwede po. just take note that if your occupation is in CSOL Schedule 2, kelangan may state sponsorship (visa 190). pero kung nasa SOL or CSOL Sched 1, you can apply for visa 189. good luck!

Question po... since nag reach na ng annual ceiling occupation ang ICT Business & System Analysts, kelangan ba mag hintay after July 1, 2013 before submitting EOI? Paano ba magwork ang EOI? If magsend ako after July 1, lahat ba ng mgsubmit ng EOI before July 1, sila ang priority? Parang waiting list? So much better ba mag send ako before July 1?

- and by EOI points, kung sino mas mataas

so im assuming na pagnagsubmit kayo ng EOI ngayon eh mas okay dahil mas una kayo sa iba..

your assessment result should have the information whether your PH degree is equivalent to an AU degree (then you can claim 15pts), or AU diploma (claim 10pts only)..

What if nagfofall ako sa part "You do not have an ICT-related qualification, you may apply for a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). You will need to have at least 6 years of full time professional ICT work experience if you hold a non ICT qualification and at least 8 years if you do not hold any tertiary qualifications. The purpose of the RPL application is to give you the opportunity to demonstrate that you have acquired a level of knowledge equivalent to that of a formal tertiary ICT qualification."?

Pwede ba ako mag claim ng 10 points for "Award or qualification recognised by the assessing authority in the assessment of the skilled occupation"?

Nung nag try ako sa My Points Calculator (http://www.mygration.com.au/points-calculator), may part na "Educational Qualifications: Skills assessment for overseas qualification (10)"... kaya ko kinoconfirm if un ung positive assessment ng ACS pra ma claim ko ung 10 points?

para hindi magulo.. hahah.. i have questions for you:
1. what is your college degree?
2. nagsubmit ka po ba ng RPL? or pinagsubmit ka ba ng ACS ng RPL?
3. Kung IT-related ang degree mo at hindi ka nmn pinagsubmit ng RP, then dont, worry about the RPL...

if nag RPL ka, then that means hindi IT-related ang course mo.. and ACS wont be able to give opinion whether it is comparable to AU degree or diploma.. so hindi ka pwede magclaim ng any points, kasi wala kang basis...

so based sa pagkaintindi ko, you need to get opinion on your degree sa VETASSESS...

im replying based on what i have read from people in this forum and other forum who had their assessment via RPL..
- wait for the result of your assessment ... if ACS cannot give any opinion on your degree.. then you cannot claim. then you go to VETASSSESS for assessment of your degree
- if ACS provided opinion on your degree, then you claim points based on their assessment result.

Hello po,
Wala bang mga ECE dito. Ask ko lang kasi. I am an ECE pero my working experience is just on the technical level. Currently i am working in singapore as a Test Engineering Specialist. Ano po ba dapat na nominated work ko in applying ng EOI, and then sa assessment ng skills. Sorry po, kasi parang nalilito ako dito. Hope maliwanagan ako dito. THanks.

I'm not sure if you really need a show money. alam ko as long as kaya mo bayaran yung application fee, that's it.

same here... hopeful that systems analyst will not be removed from the SOL list... nagsubmit na ako ng EOI nung feb... hoping nga na mauna ma-invite due to the date i submitted... according to what @lock_code2004 has explained...
