In most cases, di na nila titingnan kung equivalent to an Aussie degree ang tinapos niyo.

Hi Aolee! Can you explan a bit further if okay lang? Does this mean to say na pag Section 1, on top pa ng 15 pts? thanks!

Points are awarded as such:
20 -Doctorate Degree 15 -Masters / At least a Bachelor Degree 10 -Australian Diploma or trade qualification. 10 -Award or qualification recognised by the assessing authority in the assessment of the skilled occupation

no offense meant but based on the circumstances you provided, you fall short of points for skilled migration not unless you have an approved Regional State Sponsorship and passed the NAATI professional interpreter/translator for community language.

Hi @jella, have you considered Skilled – Recognised Graduate (Temporary) Visa (Subclass 476) already? Dapat naggraduate ka last 2010 or 2011. mura lang din ang visa fee dyan. you can stay up to 18 mos. in OZ tapos saka ka mag-apply ng PR pag andun ka na. here's the link - http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/476/

@jella, with the current immigration guidelines, hindi makakatulong directly mga relatives sayo unless magoffer sila ng bond to show financial capacity (and it's a very high amount).
Another way for you to get in Australia is thru Student Visa but that's just as expensive as Relative Sponsorship.
Given your age and work experience, mahihirapan po kayo makakuha ng employer sponsorship din...So if you want to apply for a visa on your own, I would rack up some years of work experience first. Mas pabor din po kung 25 years old ka mag apply kasi dun magsisimula ang 30 point credit sa age

@jella, if you are taking student scholarship, that means you will fall under Student Visa hence you will not be able to work full time until you graduate. And even if you graduate, you need to apply for a bridging visa for permanent residence (hindi siya automatic)...
So with the option you are considering, yes...that will get you to Australia in an instant...but no, you cannot work...and yes, this option is a very expensive (and lengthy) route to take.

20 -Doctorate Degree
15 -Masters / At least a Bachelor Degree
10 -Australian Diploma or trade qualification.
10 -Award or qualification recognised by the assessing authority in the assessment of the skilled occupation

no offense meant but based on the circumstances you provided, you fall short of points for skilled migration not unless you have an approved Regional State Sponsorship and passed the NAATI professional interpreter/translator for community language.
here's ur points:
Age (21) = 25 pts.
IELTS (7.0) = 10 pts.
Overseas Qualification (UP grad) = 15 pts.
Work Experience = 0
TOTAL = 50 pts.

So with the option you are considering, yes...that will get you to Australia in an instant...but no, you cannot work...and yes, this option is a very expensive (and lengthy) route to take.
Hope it helps
