^^yes agree. i will take the safe side. i am even thinking of not at all include the 2 years that were not included in ACS assessment eventhough sakop pa sya ng "last 10 years". i will just start on the date as indicated in my ACS assessment.

No, the same rules still applies...

Highest points gets served first then yun mga nauuna na naglodge ng EOI; it also follows with this that should you be in an occupation that is almost reaching quote, the higher your score, the better will your chances be - say for instance, 50 nalang remaining spots sa occupation mo however you lodged an EOI with 80pts; syempre with this taub sila lahat and you will get your invites during the following round.

may mga Questions din po ako..
    1. i finished a 3yr diploma, june 1997 start, March 2000 natapos, pero di ako nakagraduate during graduation dahil DROPPED yung 2nd year 2nd sem ko ng ROTC (binayaran ko kasi eh nagakaproblema), nakagraduate lang ako nung inabolish yung 2 yrs ROTC requirement, ginawang 1Yr na lang, and that was May 2002. Good thing happened after my OJT, nahire agad ako sa company na pinagOJThan ko kahit di pa ako graduated...
    school start ---june 1997
    school/ojt end---march 12, 2000
    date hired sa company A--march 13, 2000
    graduation date on diploma--May 10, 2002
...so alin jan ang susundan ko na end date ng education ko sa EOI? kasi kung may 10, 2002 ilalagay ko, it will clash with the start of my employment...

    2. company A--March 2000--september 2006, semicon assymbly equipment technician
Company B--September 2006-October 2007, Semicon assembly associate equipment engineer
Company C--Octber 2007--July 2010, Waferfab (semicon) associate equipment engineer
Current Company--Jumy 2010--present, Waferfab (semicon) Process and Equipment Technologist (Technician job role)..
Basically, halos pareparehas job role ko sa 4 na company, will it be safe to claim 15 pts without having Point test advice from TRA?

    312511 Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson

    05/06/13--ielts exam BC (LRWS=6.5)
06/20/13--submitted documents to TRA, 07/31/13--TRA Result Unsuccesful
07/27/13-- me and wife ielts exam IDP (still zero points)
08/23/13--submitted new TRA docs, 10/10/13--result succesful
    10/26/13-3rd take ielts BC (LRS=7, W6.5)
11/10/13-EOI submitted, SA SS application submitted--deffered
    10/06/15-CDR result succesful
    12/08/15- PTE result L76/R79/S86/W74
    01/29/16- Victoria SS --denied
08/08/16- submitted new Victoria SS application
    09/23/16- ITA received
    10/31/16- lodge Visa 190

I need your kind advise on claiming education and employment points for a 189 visa.

I have a non-ICT related bachelor's degree. Therefore, the qualification was not assessed by ACS and was recommended to take the RPL route, which I did and got the following results:

Your skills have been assessed to be suitable for migration under 261311 (Analyst Programmer) of the
    ANZSCO Code.

The following employment after August 2008 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately
skilled level and relevant to 261311 (Analyst Programmer) of the ANZSCO Code.

    Dates: 08/02 - 08/11 (9yrs 0mths)
    Position: Application Developer
    Employer: ABC

    Dates: 08/11 - 05/13 (1yrs 9mths)
    Position: Application Developer
    Employer: XYZ

    Question 1:

Given that this is an RPL application, please let me know if I can claim a bachelor degree for my education (15 pts) and skilled employment after august 2008 which is 5 years (10) points.

    Question 2:

If yes, what should I state for the following under my education history?:
    Qualification
    Course name
    Institution name

    Question 3:
Should I also include my non-assessed bachelor's degree under my education history?

    Question 4:
I am still an employee of XYZ but my assessment date is only until 05/13. Can I still claim my experience after this date?

My assumptions were based on the following:
The Australian Skills Recognition Information (ASRI) for Analyst Programmer - 261311 states that:
This occupation has a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).

    ACS states that:
The purpose of the RPL application is to give you the opportunity to demonstrate that you have acquired a level of knowledge equivalent to that of a formal tertiary ICT qualification.

    @mr_reygan -

if you dont mind, anung school ka graduate?

Q1- I would not advise you to claim 15 pts without any basis. if you want, you can submit your education qualification for assessment sa vetassess, they can provide opinion if its AQF bachelor or diploma level. please check their website..

Q2 - refer to my answer to Q1

Q3 - refer to my answer to Q1

Q4 - yes you can claim points for on-going work experience. during your visa application, you just need to provide updated COE..

okay.. based kasi sa mga nagpa-assess na.. mostly pag nasa section 1 para maging AQF bachelor..
meron din nmn from section 2, pero mahirap na mag-claim ng walang basis..

so its either, you claim diploma 10pts, kung aabot naman ng total 60pts ang EOI mo.. then proceed na with your application..
but if you really need 15pts, ayun nga i suggest check with vetassess for your educ qualification assessment..
    goodluck..

@mr_reygan Hi Mr. Reygan, same case din po tau nagpa assess naman po ako sa Vetassess under Graphic Designer ksi malayo un course (Mechanical Eng'g) ko sa working experience ko so unsuccessful un assessment ko and also they advice me to take RPL. San po kayo nag pa RPL dto po ba kau sa SG? And how much po un fee and how many months will it take po?

Balak ko po kasi magpa assess sa TRA under Print Finisher, taz nag enquire po ako sa TRA heto reply sken:

As mentioned below, to be eligible for a successful Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) outcome you are required to provide evidence of:

1.a qualification comparable to the relevant qualification in Australia for the occupation and
2.employment at the required skill level for Australian indusry standards.
TRA cannot provide advice about the likely comparability of a specific qualification and employment without conducting an assessment, and for this to occur an application would need to be lodged with TRA. However, for your information, a qualification from the Philippines may be comparable to the relevant AQF qualification for the occupation of Print Finisher [392111] if the qualification:

    · Is at a comparable level to an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualification level III or above. (note for a Print Finisher [392111] the minimum requirement is an AQF ICP30712 - Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Print Finishing)

•Is relevant to the nominated occupation and includes a range of competencies/subjects directly related to the nominated occupation, and
•was issued an institution/organisation that is quality assured by a government agency with responsibility for vocational education and training in the country where the qualification was issued.

The TRA Migration Skills Assessment Applicant Guidelines requires qualification. TRA compares qualifications issued overseas to the relevant Australian Training Package qualification for the nominated occupation when determining relevance. To do this, TRA requires the qualification and the accompanying academic transcript to be provided in the application.

As previously advised your application is likely to be unsuccessful if you do not have a relevant qualification for your nominated occupation. Please seek further advice and information about RPL from and RTO as mentioned previously.

    Thank you & God Bless....

"Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God." (Matt. 5:8)

im assuming (your change of job) it will not affect your work exp points..

once you have your EOI invitation to apply for visa, just upload your COE from the new company, and/or update your CO

There are no pros fro this...

It means, you need to have a very high EOI score in order for you to merit an invitation... Accordingly, these 6 occupation has some very high applicants with limited slots so may the best EOI score wins ito.

If 60 ang points mo baka dehado ka as marami na nakapila ahead of you - if 70 up naman score mo, may fighting chance ka.

kung walang deduction ng 2 years ang ACS (which I doubt), i can claim for 70 pts. if not, 65 pts lang. i think still better as compared to 60 pts. as checked in previous invitations, majority naman puro 60 pts lang ung na-invite.

@rooroo May nagsabi kasi sa kabilang forum na every year daw may mga natatanggal na SOL. Ang masakit lang nun kung mapagsaraduhan tayo ng pinto sa kadahilanang matanggal ang ating SOL. I hope not. Keep on praying. God bless us all!

    @rooroo

Nakapag-EOI na ko kaya lang wala pang invitation. Would you know kung kailan ang next round of invitations?
