    Hi all, just received an email from my IDP counsellor:

    "But again, for visa refusals that are GTE-related, I would advise you to not reapply again because the probability of getting refused on your reapplication is high."

    August 7, 2013 - Lodged application through VIA
    August 12, 2013 - Received Acknowledgement email that my application was received together with the medical examination request
    August 14, 2013 - Medical Examination Done @ NHSI
    August 16, 2013 - Medical Results were uploaded to DIAC as per NHSI (phone follow-up)
    October 7, 2013 - Visa Grant!

    Hi guys! I'm new here... Actually I'm still waiting for my uni's offer. Ask ko Lang po if makakaapekto ba if if idle declare ko na May relatives kami sa oz. plan po namin kasi na I sali ang stat declaration nila sa aking documents na isa.submit sa CO.. Thanks much!
    I-declare mo na. Yung saken, Tita ko na nandito sa AU ang nagbigay ng stat declaration for me..

    @asdfghjklqwerty pinakaapparent ay yung course na dapat na kukunin mo sa OZ should be somewhat related sa natapos mo dito. pero not naman related na mas mababa pa sa kung anong qualification na meron ka. questionable daw yun e. @bbgirl 's case was different though. so basically, nasa CO na yun kung pano nyang iaassess. may mga criteria naman kasi sila. somebody gave a link about GTE here just recently. backread ka sa mga comments to find it. very helpful yun.
    I have Bachelor's Degree in the Phils. Dito sa AUS ngayon, Certificate IV at Diploma lang ang kinukuha ko.

    Swerte lang siguro sa CO..

    If the bank account with the funds is in your name, kailangan pa ba ng proof kung saan nanggaling 'yung money, employment etc? Hypothetically kung hiram lang from a relative muna... While my parents can afford tuition abroad, hindi pwede yung account nila sa bank kasi running account na ginagamit sa business (hindi sa business nakapangalan).

    Magiging honest ako: Naiinggit ako sa mga nagkaka Visa Grant! Lalo na nung nasa IDP ako, kinukuha nila documents nila na grant ang papers nila! Waaaah!

    ~ 573 SVP with 1 dependent ~

    May 31 - applied online at University website
    June 17 - Uni sent a message that they approved 14 credits for prior learning.
    June 21 - Uni emailed: move my intake to Feb 2014.
    July 5 - Passed IELTS! Yipee. Emailed Uni my result.
    July 16 - Received conditional OFFER LETTER from Uni. :)
    July 19 - sent my TOR to Uni.
    July 22 - Uni received my TOR
    July 24 - received my UNCONDITIONAL OFFER.
    July 31 - paid tuition fees and received COE
    Sept 16 - lodged visa application 573 SVP with one dependent thru VIA
    Sept 17 - acknowledgement from embassy with medical request.
    Sept 18 - Medical Examination at NHSI
    Sept 24 - Medical forwarded to Embassy
    Oct 4 - Phone interview with CO.
    Oct 7 - Emailed immi asking for updates
    Oct 8 - Received email from immi stating application is under assessment.
    Oct 9 - Received text message from Air 21 and Embassy that my documents has been dispatched.
    Oct 9 - visa refusal! :(

    Hello. Na-surpass ko din ang Personal Interview ko a while a go. Hoping for a positive result one of this days. Sabi naman ng CO ko i'll get the result before may commencement date which is on monday na. To GOD be the glory!

    @toeberries123 yup. depende lang talaga kung paano ka nilang inaassess. i think depende rin how you justified sa application why you took the course.

    hi sis just to be sure, sa name na lang ng parents mo ilagay yong hiram na pera then your parents can provide the necessary documents to realistically show and prove (if needed) how they earn such amount (thru employment or business since for sure they have the resources to do that)......imho
