need ko po ulet ng help nyo...
kakacheck ko lang po ulet ng skillselect website and nagulat ako na maraming ng changes and parang umaayon na po sakin... i'm applying po for visa 189skilled independent.

tama po ba pagkakaintindi ko... na nagkaka-5 points ako for partner skills kahit na dko na xa kasabay maglodge basta masuffice ung mga criterias below? (dati po kc parang wala to..)

Partner skills

You can receive five points if, when you are invited to apply for this visa, your partner provides evidence that they:
were under 50 years of age (30 yrs old na po xa)
had at least competent English (7 in all bands po xa)
had nominated an occupation on the same skilled occupation list as your nominated occupation (same telco prof po kami)
had been assessed by the relevant assessing authority as having suitable skills for the nominated occupation. (na-assess na din po xa ng engineers australia)

eto na po kc points ko... (dko po tlga kc maabot ung all band 7 sa ielts)

say, for example: if there are only 1000 remaining spots for an occupation tapos 5 months na lang for the program year... ibig sabihin 200 invites per month?

- nope, hindi pwede kung may PR visa na ang partner mo..
- why dont you apply for state sponsorship visa 190. that will give you additional 5 pts..

skills assessment question po:

nakuha ko na yun positive skills assessment letter ko from my nominated SOL assessor. problem is may TYPO yung name ng current company ko. isang letter napalitan ng E dapat Y. (phonetically sounds the same pag binasa naman haha) manghihingi pa ba ako ng bagong letter or ok na yun? lahat ng documents ko states the correct spelling? whatchathinkguys?

@engr_boy - submit it for eoi or visa application.. kung kulang kana sa oras.
i think pwede nmn ma verify ng CO yan sa assessing agency mo..

at the same time, hingi ka na rin sa assessing agency mo.. para hindi sayng oras..

@iamKikay pwede kang makakuha ng pts sa SS pero tignan mo muna kung may IELTS requirement din ang WA. Ang pagkakaalam ko kasi nanghihingi din ang mga states ng IELTS. Check mong mabuti kapatid. Good luck sa atin, nag uumpisa pa rin ako na magsecure ng basic requirements. Sana parehas nating makamtan ang pangarap nating makarating sa Australia.

yes, im assuming pasado kana sa skills assessment.. and your assessment includes your work exp..

but there are some assessment agencies na hindi lahat ng work exp mo pwede i claim..
example ACS for IT occupations... dpende s course mo, magbabawas sila ng 2-5 yrs of work exp.. so yung remaining lang ang pwede mo i-claim...

@apple if you used the same occupation for your assessment, opo pwde nyo nga po i claim 8yrs work exp= 15pts.. Of course dapat complete ang docs (employment certs etc) nyo as proof for visa application

Overview ng aking ACS Result:

Nag start na akong mag fillup ng aking EOI application and target ko po ay visa 189. May mga hindi po ako sure sa pag fill up kaya need ko po sana ng tulong at payo.

Binasa ko po lahat mula page 1 ng topic na ito at unti unti po akong naliwanagan but since there may have changes happened, I would like to confirm my understanding.

1. Napansin ko po na mostly ng nakita kong post ay nag apply muna ng visa 190 to claim 5 points then proceed with visa 189 para tumaas ang puntos. Nabasa ko na para makapag apply sa visa 190, sa EOI application for visa 189, kailangan i-tick both 189 at 190. Tama po ba ito? Kung oo, South Australlia po ang target kong lugar. May kailangan pa ba akong ayusin or iapply ng separate para maclaim ko ang 5 points for visa 190? Or sapat na ang pag tick ko sa 189 at 190 para sa EOI ko sa visa 189.

2. Sa Education History, hindi ko na isasama ang High School di po ba? Tertiary lang ang aking ilalagay. Paki confirm naman po.

3. Related po sa number 2, kung titingnan nyo po ang aking ACS result,

Ganito po ang current entry ko para maclaim ko ito. Edit ko na lang pag nalaman ko na ang diskarte.

Qualification = Advance Diploma <--- Tama naman po ito di po ba? Kung mali, pakisabihan naman po ako.

Date from (dd/mm/yyyy) and Date to (dd/mm/yyyy) = Dito po ang isa sa problema ko, hindi ko alam ang dapat kong ilagay na date from and to. Since certification exam ito (self-review), ang sinubukan kong ilagay ay both May 20, 2011 sa from at to pero nagrereklamo ang Date to ko na dapat daw ay more than date from. Sa ngayon sa Date from ko nilagay yung May 20, 2011 at blank naman ang Date to pero kung ating susuriin ang help na question mark, we can leave Date to blank if we are currently undertaking studies. Naguguluhan po ako dito kaya pakitulungan naman po ako kung paano ang diskarte.</i>

4. Related din sa number 3. May 40 char limit ang institution name. Ang school ko po ay "Polytechnic University of the Philippines" na may 41 chars. Ang ginawa ko po ay ginawa kong Philippine yung Philippines since may Country of Institution naman. Alam kong medyo minor lang ito pero gusto ko sana malaman ang inputs ninyo. Ayaw ko naman mag jejemon na spelling.

5. Sa work experience ko naman po... balikan natin ito.

Kung atin pong susuriin, 5yrs + 8 months + 1yr + 1 month = 6 years and 9 months ang aking total work experience. Ayon kay ACS, yung work ko after July 2008 ang start date ng relevance kaya mababawasan ako ng 2 years kaya 4yrs + 9 months na lang. Ang gagawin ko ay gagawa ako ng updated na COE para ang maclaim kong experience ay more than 5 years so 10 points. Ganito po ang diskarte ko sa aking pag fill up ng form.

Kung atin po uling susuriin magiging 3yrs + 7months + 1yr + 6months + 2 months (since balak ko mag pasa ng EOI next JAN2014) = 5yrs and 3months = 10points claim.

May comment po ba kayo sa ganitong diskarte ko? Kung may tingin po kayo na mali at improvement na rin, paki payuhan naman po ako.

Maraming salamat po in advance sa mga sasagot at magbibigay ng payo. Nagtry po akong intindihin yung nasa AU website pero hindi po talaga malinaw sa akin. Kaya siguro ko twice nag IELTS kasi mahina ako sa English.

Gusto ko po sanang maging guide din ito ng iba pang nagsisimula pa lang sa EOI kaya ko po binigyan ng effort ang mga tanong ko. Sana po ay maging malinaw po ang inyong mga sagot para makatipid sa ating oras. Kung may part po na magulo sa post kong ito... pakipost na lang po at akin pong bibigyan ng kalinawan.

Maraming salamat po at ang inyo pong mga payo ay tatanawin kong malaking utang na loob.

1. hindi tama ang 1st statement mo.. hindi pwedeng magapply ng isang visa tapos lipat ng isang visa para tumaas ang puntos.. kung saan ka qualified na visa type un ang kailangan mong i-tick sa EOI.. kahit na i-tick mo ang 189, kung kulang nmn ang points mo, or ang occupation mo ay nsa CSOL, hindi ka rin mabbgyan ng visa invitation..

iba iba ang application process ng bawat state (ex. sa WA, sila ang pipili sa EOI mo, im not sure sa SA.. so after mo magsubmit ng EOI for visa 190 for a particular state, visit mo ang immigration website ng state na un..

2. walang points ang high-school, so i think hindi na kailangan.

3. dahil may dawalang qualifications ka, yung mas mataas na qualification ang icoconsider sa pagbibigay ng points.. try mo i enter both ( diploma,, and then yung degree), tapos i check mo sa summary ng EOI pts na ung degree lang ang may points...

regarding sa date, enter mo lang kung anu sa palagay mo ang tama for that certification..
kung one month kang nag self review.. ilagay mo yun. just my opinion..

4. abbreviate mo yung iba.. pwede nmn "Phils"

5. Sa work experience yes tama yan.. just make sure you have proof na employed ka pa rin sa current employer mo.. updated COE kailangan mo sa pag-apply ng visa..

1. hindi tama ang 1st statement mo.. hindi pwedeng magapply ng isang visa tapos lipat ng isang visa para tumaas ang puntos.. kung saan ka qualified na visa type un ang kailangan mong i-tick sa EOI.. kahit na i-tick mo ang 189, kung kulang nmn ang points mo, or ang occupation mo ay nsa CSOL, hindi ka rin mabbgyan ng visa invitation..

-- Sorry po pero hindi ko pa maintindihan masyado. Di po ba pwede sa EOI na 2 ang i-tick sa Select visa types page 3/13. Nakita ko kasi sa usapan ninyo dati ito.

@rooroo - in your EOI, you need to select which type of visa would you be interested in .. so in your case nag apply ka ng 190, so dapat yung EOI mo eh for 190..

you can select both 189 and 190 ( and other visa types) sa same EOI.. no need to create another EOI..

update my EOI? kasi nun nagsubmit ako 189 lang pinili ko.
gusto ko sana same EOI lang para di nakakalito.

yes. it will add the 5 pts (SS) from your current score..
then once the SS application is approved, then they will automatically give you that 5pts..

I think nalilito ako between visa 190 and State Sponsorship. Para kasing magkaparehas lang sakin. Nalilito din ako sa timeline nila @rooroo at @peterpan07. Research pa muna ako.

@eccen3k Pwede mo i-tick both 189/190 kung ang nominated occupation mo ay nasa SOL.

If nasa CSOL, 190 ang i-tick. Tapos pili ng preferred state. Tapos check the website of the preferred state how to apply state sponsorship.

Salamat ulit sa inputs. Nasa SOL yung nominated skill ko kaya I'll follow your advice to tick both 189 and 190. Target ko talaga ay 189. If I also tick 190, do I need to process separate steps para sa 190? Like applying on the states' website? Or just including that ay sufficient na since 189 naman talaga ang target ko. And... im planning to select "any" sa states. No issues naman yun di ba kasi 189 naman yung target ko?

Saka... ano po advantage ng ticking 190 din? May additional points po ba ito or can be used for backup purposes? Still reading and learning pa din po ako.
