Or nagtyaga muna kayo sa mga basic things like bed/mattress, basic kitchen utensils, etc.?

Para sa mga nsa WA esp. Mandurah, mura na ba yung landed houses na may $250-350 weekly rental?
Bumili kami ng ng mura at Basic .. :)

I google nyo yung suburb profile at crime rate malalaman nyo ang statistics nung lugar.

one less patriotic Filipino na ako currently andito ako SG...2 years and counting...

I haven't lost everything except my mind...

This is a nice thread. The reason why ako na hook up sa pinoyau and malimit ko binabasa to motivate me sa pag pursue ng Australian life.

Well bakit Australia ulit. For the future of my family and para sama2 na kami. My first choice is Canada but for some unfortunate events eh hindi natuloy kahit i managed to get a job there. Maybe, my destiny is really sa Australia. Maybe not, at malasin na naman but anyway waiting nlang ako ng CO at the moment and sobrang malas ko na tlaga pag hindi pa ako natuloy.

Ilang buwan nlang at mag 5 years na ako dito sa SG. When i first landed here during early 2009 i was so impressed. Sobrang linis and organised. Its like youre in a big golf course. May work na ako pagdating dito and the Company provided me with accomodation for two weeks, relocation allowance equivalent to 2 months of my salary (pero may tali ng 2 years) and reimbursed my airfare. Most of my friends 100mbps (well mostly kasi gamers but i think affordable pa rin). My gross is more than 5 times n salary ko sa pinas.

Fast forward, after 3 years, things changed.

Thats where migration come into the picture. I want 360 change in my environment and everything.Parang wala ng bago araw2. Pera nlang tlaga reason ko kaya ako nandito. Uwi nlang ba ako ng pinas but my ibang options nman.

I will be coming from the PH straight after of more than 6 years of experience in IT. Sobrang dami kong napulot sa mga experiences ng mga nagSG, Canada and US. I was also once planning to go to those countries. Now I'm 28 and our PR VISA has been granted. I and my wife will be flying anytime soon. Lalo akong naexcite because I know that we made the right decision while young.

I just want to thank all the contributors of this thread. I admire and salute everyone. I hope to be successful in AU someday to be an inspiration to others too. :)
