Thanks for that @jaero. Meron nga ako MF, pero Pinas po. Medyo takot pa ako mag venture into "risky" territory dito. Have you guys tried MF dito?

Speaking of super, Balanced growth lang ang sakin with pre-tax voluntary contribution. Pero in the less-than-a-year stay ko sa company, parang maganda ang performance. I of course don't really know for sure, feelingera ko lang. Saka ko na po invest super into something more risky, pag sobrang dami na pera ko (which probably won't happen). :D

@Skinnylove, how do you do that though, invest the super into stocks/bonds? Pano ginagawa yun?

    Again, salamat sa input. :)

@Nadine, with the super fund i am with (employer super), they offer the members on where the money can be invested. the member can decide on how much he wants to invest to which industry/product. pero i chose the default investment to be safe, the balanced investment. some of my colleagues chose the growth investment.

Check with your fund if you want your super to get more returns...pero more returns will be a bit risky.

@vhoythoy kung may citibank ka you can use any westpac atm, no charges. pero di ako 100% sure sa charge.

i use westpac, which allows me to access both wp and st george atms.

Hi Doc @Nadine, pinaextend nyo ba yung interest nyo sa NAB iSaver?
Nakalagay kasi dun sa email na sinend nila when we opened the account, after 4 months, kailangan mag request sa bank to extend the higher interest rate.
Ginawa namin to, tumawag lang kami sa NAB and inextend naman ang interest rate.

Share nyo po samin kung okay magiging experience nyo sa Westpac ah.
Para kung mas maganda dyan, ilipat din namin hehe :)

I will answer above question but for Citibank SG bank account holder ito applicable. For us, we can do online transfer from Citi SG a/c to Citi AU a/c for free using online but you can also negotiate the forex rate if you will transfer 30k above and you need to call your personal banker for this.

I say, I have been given a good rate during that time of forex.

You can do this online; in fact during our time (around 18 months ago), it is cheaper to do it online rather than via a branch - mas mura ang fee kumbaga.

Having said that, tama si @pmzinoz na if you transact big amount of money, you can get a favourable rate from branch personnel.

it does not matter; either is fine...

@TasBurrfoot thanks sir.... nagtry kasi magfill up ng online application and there is an item that asks me if this will be an individual or joint account. so napaisip ako kaya di ko munta tinuloy. so kung ok lang pala to have it revised later to a joint account eh mag individual muna ako for the meantime. salamat ulet.
