Yung previous work ko lang ang nasa eoi ko eh, nakalimutan ko ilagay yung current work ko. At 1 year ang pagitan nila, same anzsco, and Wala pa ako 1 yr sa current work ko. Thanks!

Yes. Then “not claiming points” ka sa current job mo.. since hindi ka naglagay sa EOI, diko sure😀. Wait natin iba.

Hello everyone! I have a question regarding EOI employment history. I am currently working with the same employer for 8 years. VETASSESS deducted 1 year and counted the remaining 7 years as Date Deemed Skilled. My question now is about the data that I will reflect in the EOI. Should I only report 7 years of employment outside Australia or I can completely claim the total 8 years that I have? Thank you.

    Nominated Occupation: 234211 (Chemist)
March 23, 2020: VETASSESS Positive Assessment as Chemist
    June 29, 2020: PTE Academic (L-90, R-82, W-90, S-90, Superior)
    July 7, 2020: EOI for 189 (85 points)
July 7, 2020: EOI for 190 in NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA (90 points)
July 7, 2020: EOI for 491 in NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA (100 points)

Put in your employment in the last 10 years as that’s what us being asked and just claim points on what VETASSESS has recognised.

The first thing to do is to see if you qualify on the basic requirements for the General Skilled Migration visa (Sub class 175).

You’re age must be of under 45 years old (current point system - before July 2011).

Proof of good English proficiency is mandatory and most applicants need to qualify by obtaining a certain score in IELTS exam.

Check also if the occupation right now is in Australia’s NEW skilled occupations list (SOL) (launched last July 2010).

If your occupation is in the SOL then briefly verify if you have relevant years of experience for your nominated occupation (see point requirement list at http://www.workpermit.com/australia/general-skilled-migration/points_requirements.htm).

Note: This skills assessment is done by relevant assessment authority in Australia, the assessing body will advise, whether you are or not a suitable candidate for the chosen nominated occupation (e.g. IT prefessionals = Australian Computer Society (ACS))

Again double check the point requirement list if you can obtain 120 or more point.

If you met all the the basic requirement and you think you are able to achieve or surpass the 120 points passing mark, go for skills assessment and take the IELTS exam.

In addition, If you have a spouse, as per the checklist... you can also claim additional points for him/her,

If claiming for spousal points, check whether she/he meets the basic requirements.

If yes, better let him/her take an IELTS test to avoid the secondary payment (check the immi.gov.au FEEs http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/990i/professionals-outside-australia.htm).

The passing mark is set by the Australian government and has the authority to modify it anytime.

If you did not meet the passing mark, review your credentials for other visa category like Sponsored and provisional categories.

You may also seek nomination from ‘Designated Area’ or ‘Regional Australia’ or see if you have any relatives in Australia that might wish to sponsor you for immigration.

Hindi nmn nagbabawas ng work experience si CPAA. As long as yung worj experience mo is akma sa mga task na ginagawa ng nominated occupation mo.

Hello, question lang po concerning EOI and lodging application.

Pag nagfile ba ako ngayon ng EOI and nainvite na ako to lodge an application pero pina-lapse ko yung 60 days without applying, may bearing ba sya sa future applications ko? Matatagalan ba bago sila maginvite ulit?

For addtl info lang, I'm planning to apply for either 189/190/491 sa EOI ko. Thank you sa makakasagot!

Hello po! I hope everyone is safe.
    Question lang po...

I am claiming points po from my work about 10 years ago (2010-2011).

I was working under government and they didn't provide us Payslips/SSS/BIR/contract/bank statement. Wala narin po silang record kasi matagal na.

I only have my COE and Reference Letter for skills assessment.

I have read that preparing for Stat Dec is crucial in case the CO will look for evidence of employment.

Would it still be possible to create a Stat Dec having only these two documents (COE & Reference Letter)?
And explain to it that I couldn't retrieve any other supporting docs.

Additionally, does the Stat Dec has to be done by my supervisor (which is difficult to ask) or I can do it myself?

Thanks in advance for the advise.

Hello, question lang po concerning EOI and lodging application.

Pag nagfile ba ako ngayon ng EOI and nainvite na ako to lodge an application pero pina-lapse ko yung 60 days without applying, may bearing ba sya sa future applications ko? Matatagalan ba bago sila maginvite ulit?

For addtl info lang, I'm planning to apply for either 189/190/491 sa EOI ko. Thank you sa makakasagot!

Hi! Wala namang bearing yun. Kaya lang sayang bakit mo pinalampas. Hehe hindi natin sure kung ng sa mga susunod biglang maghigpit sila in the future.

    Cheers

Not sure kung anong plano nung nagtanong pero I have a similar question, pero mostly deferral ng pag move sa AU once the PR visa is granted. OP, kung eto ung concern mo, baka mas better na apply for ITA until the visa is granted. May nagsabi from another foreign forum na you can defer your moving to AU pero not sure kung gano katagal. Although sabi dun forum, all you have to do to secure your PR rights in case na di mo pa plan mag BM is to land there once, do the registration process and you can literally leave again. Need to verify kung anong caveats nito.

Question ko to now kasi while i have an EOI lodged in SkillSelect, I also accepted a 1 year master program in Europe this year, so medyo di ko alam gagawin ko kung sakaling maka receive ako ng ITA while studying sa Europe.

IMO, just continue with application in case you get invited, then lodge the visa up until the grant. Your PR status will be activated on the first landing which is required before the prescribed date of entry, you don't need to BM that time if you still have unsettled commitments. BM will always be up to you.

DIY all the way. Avoid preachy, know-it-all, and unscrupulous agents AT ALL COSTS!

@tangentph If you're planning to voluntarily cancel your student visa grant it might render you unlawful since ikacancel mo yung substantive visa to stay here in AU. That's what i understand. So be careful in cancelling your would-be-visa. Another thing to watch out for is if you decide to cancel your visa, it would mean cancelling out the other bridging visas that you have if you'll have like yung BVC na kasama ng 189 application if ever maglalodge ka. WIthdrawal of visa is different from Cancellation.

Yung BVC namin is just waiting to take place after our BVA expires. So thank God at tama lang yung mga naging pabara bara naming desisyon gawa ng excitement. :)

@Cassey Gaano katagal bago dumating ung BVC mo? im currently on this situation
